{"id":10239,"date":"2026-02-19T04:00:00","date_gmt":"2026-02-19T02:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/satchurch.lv\/?p=10239"},"modified":"2026-02-18T05:00:27","modified_gmt":"2026-02-18T03:00:27","slug":"the-importance-unity-ii","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/satchurch.lv\/en\/the-importance-unity-ii\/","title":{"rendered":"The importance of unity II"},"content":{"rendered":"Peace unto you, dear God\u2019s children!\r\n\r\nI thank God for this day and believe that this day will be filled with the blessings from the Lord.\r\nToday I\u2019d like to continue on the topic I talked about yesterday \u2013 the importance of unity. We saw that when you have a strong team every house will be built and every project will be completed. That kind of team will always achieve victory.\r\nIn the Bible we see that Jesus also talked about the importance of unity.\r\n<h6>\r\n\u201cNow when the Pharisees heard it they said, \u201cThis fellow does not cast out demons except by Beelzebub, the ruler of the demons.\u201d But Jesus knew their thoughts, and said to them: \u201cEvery kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation, and every city or house divided against itself will not stand.\u201d (Mathew, 12:24-25).<\/h6>\r\nAccording to this Scripture Jesus declares that division brings destruction and defeat. Division in the Body of Christ is one of the things today that cause the Church to be ineffective. Jesus says that when a household is divided in itself it won\u2019t stand. For this very reason Satan actively fights unity in all places, especially the Church and families. For him this is the quickest way to stop the ministry of the Church and to destroy families.\r\nToday God wants to address every person that is reading this word: each person that loves Jesus Christ must do everything in his power to avoid being a source of division in His Body. We must not become a source of strife, division and separation in the Church. Besides, we have to be active against anybody who is spreading division in the Body of Christ, even avoid fellowshipping with them. It says so in\u00a0<strong>Romans (16:17-18)<\/strong>:\r\n<h6>\r\n\u201cNow I urge you, brethren, note those who cause divisions and offenses, contrary to the doctrine which you learned, and avoid them. For those who are such do not serve our Lord Jesus Christ, but their own belly, and by smooth words and flattering speech deceive the hearts of the simple\u201d.<\/h6>\r\nApostle Paul says that the people who bring division, becoming a stumbling block in the Body of Christ, serve their belly, not Jesus Christ, and this means they are simply looking out for their own benefit instead of loving the Lord. This kind of person does not care about the promotion of the work of God.\r\nGod asks us not to be a source of division and to do everything that depends on us to confront the people who create division.
