II"},"content":{"rendered":"Greetings to you, dear readers of \u201cDaily Word for Spiritual Edification\u201d! God is faithful to His Word. Because of His boundless love towards us, He is faithful to us. And He also looks for faithfulness in us.\r\n<h6>\u00ab..when the Son of Man comes, will He really find faith (faithfulness) on the earth?\u00bb\u00a0(Luke, 18:8).<\/h6>\r\nDo not compare yourself with other people, but always check whether you are faithful to God. Are you faithful to God in the area of being a good steward of the resources God has entrusted you?\r\n\r\nJesus\u2019 parable of talents says that\u00a0after the lord returned and settled accounts with his first two servants that had multiplied their talents, he did not just praise them for their faithfulness; he also blessed and promoted them: \u00ab&#8230;<strong>you were faithful over a few things,\u00a0<em><u>I will make you ruler over many things<\/u>\u00bb.<\/em><\/strong>\r\n\r\nEqual blessings were given to the neighbour that gained five more talents and to the one who gained two more.\r\n\r\nGod is in rewarding business! Reward awaits every one that serves the Lord in patience and faithfulness. Faithfulness leads to promotion.\r\n\r\nHow did the third servant behave? He began making excuses.\r\n<h6>\u00ab&#8230;Lord, I knew you to be a hard man, reaping where you have not sown, and gathering where you have not scattered seed. And I was afraid, and went and hid your talent in the ground. Look, there you have what is yours\u00bb\u00a0(Mathew, 25:24-25).<\/h6>\r\nAfter listening to him, the master publically condemned him.\r\n<h6>\u00abBut his lord answered and said to him, \u2018You wicked and lazy servant, you knew that I reap where I have not sown, and gather where I have not scattered seed. So you ought to have deposited my money with the bankers, and at my coming I would have received back my own with interest&#8230;\u00bb\u00a0(Mathew, 25:26-27).<\/h6>\r\nThe master revealed the true nature of this man: he was\u00a0<strong><em>wicked and lazy<\/em><\/strong>.\r\n\r\nIf this servant truly feared the lord and considered him to be a hard man, then his actions would have been totally different; then he would have used his talents. But the problem was that this servant was a lazy and deceitful person. He was just making excuses and trying to get away. He was looking for \u2018a scapegoat\u2019. His master saw the true cause of the bareness of this servant: it was deceitfulness and laziness.\r\n\r\nWhen the Lord will return, there won\u2019t be a way out: no excuses, no cunningness, nothing else will help us to get away. The Lord won\u2019t listen to you trying to blames someone else. We cannot deceive God because He knows and sees everything.\r\n\r\nGod has not entrusted every one of us with talents so that we would hide them; He wants us to use and multiply them.\r\n\r\nIt is better to be diligent and faithful servant of God than to waste your life being deceitful and lazy.\u00a0The day will come for every one of us when we will stand before our Lord Jesus Christ and give account for the life we have lived. Every day we have an opportunity to get ready to meet the Lord. Every day we meet people that we can help and minister to. It is your choice. You are the one that can decide how to spend your life.\r\n\r\nJesus spread life wherever He went.
