{"id":11786,"date":"2024-08-25T04:00:00","date_gmt":"2024-08-25T01:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/satchurch.lv\/?p=11786"},"modified":"2016-07-28T23:44:42","modified_gmt":"2016-07-28T20:44:42","slug":"when-god-speak-last-time","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/satchurch.lv\/en\/when-god-speak-last-time\/","title":{"rendered":"When did God speak to you the last time?"},"content":{"rendered":"I greet you, dear friends, on this wonderful day!\u00a0Every day God creates everything new, and His mercy is renewed every morning!\u00a0We continue to talk about how important it is to be led by God\u2019s Word and God\u2019s voice.\r\n\r\nIn what way God speaks to us? God has\u00a0a variety of techniques, which He uses to talk to us. Mostly God speaks to us through His Word (the Bible). For some people it is easier to believe in an angel who came down from heaven, than in what is written in the Bible. God in His Word is much closer to us than an angel, but we do not make a thing of the Word written in the Scriptures.\u00a0God speaks to us through His Word.\u00a0The Bible &#8211; it is a living book, this is God\u2019s Own Word, a speaking Word. If we want to enjoy eternal life every day, then let the Word of God talk to you every day. Do not read the Bible as history, stories or fiction, which has nothing to do with your life today. Do not read the Bible as the word which God speaks to the Jews, but perceive it as the Word which God speaks today personally to you.\u00a0And do believe that God can talk to you from the Bible pages every day. God wants to lead you along the path on which you should walk. God speaks to us through the Holy Spirit and the Word of God \u2013 these are the two main methods by which God speaks.\u00a0The Holy Spirit and the Word of God interact.\u00a0The Holy Spirit is the author of the Word and when we are reading the Bible, He enlightens us and gives internal evidence.\u00a0Usually this happens when we read the Word of God.\u00a0But this is not the only time when the Holy Spirit can speak to you. He can talk to you even when you do not pray and read the Bible. If you have a close relationship with God, you will know His voice! When you do pray, especially if you are baptized with the Holy Spirit and pray in tongues, your spirit is in fellowship with God and there is the exchange of information between you and God.Therefore, when you do not pray, the information that has been received and is in your spirit is beginning to express itself.\r\n<h6>\u201eNo, we speak of God\u2019s secret wisdom, a wisdom that has been hidden and that God destined for our glory before time began. None of the rulers of this age understood it, for if they had, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory. However, as it is written: &#8220;No eye has seen, no ear has heard, no mind has conceived what God has prepared for those who love him&#8221;\u00a0but God has revealed it to us by his Spirit. The Spirit searches all things, even the deep things of God.\u201d(1 Corinthians 2:7-10)<\/h6>\r\nGod\u2019s wisdom is intended\u00a0to give us glory.\u00a0Jesus says that His Word is life, but life with Jesus is full of glory. Where does this life, full of God\u2019s glory, come from? So when we hear God\u2019s wisdom and follow this wisdom, God gives us His glory. They who dishonour God\u2019s wisdom go towards a shame.\r\n\r\nSo ask yourself a question: When did God speak to you the last time? When was the last time you heard God\u2019s voice?\r\n\r\nYou are reading the Word of God and you hear God\u2019s voice, and the Holy Spirit speaks to you. God has a plan for us. If we live in this plan, we have a life in abundance. But if we are not in God\u2019s plan, we cannot enjoy this life. Outside of God\u2019s plan there is no real life. We want to live in God\u2019s plan, but God must reveal this plan to people through the Word of God and Holy Spirit.\r\n\r\nTherefore you must love the Word of God and dwell in it every day to draw strength and learn what the plan of God is for your life.\r\n\r\nWe shall continue tomorrow!\r\n\r\nWith the love of God!\r\n\r\nPastor\u00a0Rufus Ajiboye","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"You are reading the Word of God and you hear God\u2019s voice, and the Holy Spirit speaks to you.
