By God\u2019s mighty grace, we have been given the opportunity to feed our hearts daily on the living Word of God. God is light, and in Him there is no darkness! The light of God\u2019s Word illuminates us and makes us wiser.\n\nAll this time we have been talking about how many voices try to rule over our lives – the voice of our common sense, the voices of our feelings, of public opinion, of experts, and so on. But we have found that only God\u2019s Word and His voice bring us into the true life of abundance and lead us into God\u2019s plans and will. And the Bible says that God\u2019s will and plans for us are good.\n
\u201cDo not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God\u2019s will is – His good, pleasing and perfect will<\/u>.\u201d (Romans 12:2)<\/h6>\nBut the question is still relevant – what do we say, and what do we believe?\n\nOften, while reading the Bible, we hear ourselves better than we hear God. This is because there are words that we say, and there is the Word that He says. What matters is which we believe more – what we say or what God says. Let us look at some expressions that we often use, and let us see what God says about the same things in His Word.\n\n*YOU SAY, \u201cIt is not possible!\u201d\n\n*GOD SAYS, \u201cAll things are possible with God!\u201d\n\n*Bible verse: Luke 18:27\n
\u201cJesus replied, “What is impossible with men is possible with God.”<\/h6>\n \n\n*<\/strong> YOU SAY, \u201cI am so tired!\u201d\n\n* GOD SAYS, \u201cI will give you rest!\u201d\n\n* Bible verse: Matthew 11:28-30\n
\u201cCome to Me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls<\/u>. For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.\u201d<\/h6>\n \n\n*<\/strong> YOU SAY, \u201cNo one really loves me.\u201d\n\n* GOD SAYS, \u201cI love you!\u201d\n\n* Bible verses: John 3:16, John 3:34.\n
\u201cFor God so loved<\/u> the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.\u201d<\/h6>\n
\u201cFor the one whom God has sent speaks the words of God, for God gives the Spirit without limit.\u201d<\/h6>\n* YOU SAY, \u201cI cannot go on any longer.\u201d\n\n* GOD SAYS, \u201cMy grace is sufficient for you.\u201d\n\n* Bible verses: 2 Corinthians 12:9; Psalms 92:13-14\n
\u201cBut he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you<\/u>, for My power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ\u2019s power may rest on me.\u201d<\/h6>\n
\u201cPlanted in the house of the LORD, they will flourish in the courts of our God. They will still bear fruit in old age, they will stay fresh and green.\u201d<\/h6>\n* YOU SAY, \u201cI do not understand what is going on.\u201d\n\n* GOD SAYS, \u201cI will guide your steps.\u201d\n\n* Bible verse: Proverbs 3:5-6\n
\u201cTrust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight<\/u>.\u201d<\/h6>\n*<\/strong> YOU SAY, \u201cI cannot do it.\u201d\n\n* GOD SAYS, \u201cYou can do all things through Jesus Christ, who strengthens you!\u201d\n\n* Bible verse: Philippians 4:13\n
\u201cI can do everything through Him who gives me strength.\u201d<\/h6>\n \n\n*<\/strong> YOU SAY, \u201cIt is not worth it.\u201d\n\n* GOD SAYS, \u201cIt is worth it, because all things work together for good for those who love the Lord.\u201d\n\n* Bible verse: Romans 8:28\n
\u201cAnd we know that in all things God works for the good<\/u> of those who love Him, who have been called according to His purpose.\u201d<\/h6>\n \n\n*<\/strong> YOU SAY, \u201cI cannot forgive myself.\u201d\n\n* GOD SAYS, \u201cI forgive you!\u201d\n\n* Bible verses: 1 John 1:9; Romans 8:1\n
\u201cIf we confess our sins, He is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.\u201d<\/h6>\n
\u201cTherefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.\u201d<\/h6>\n \n\n*<\/strong> YOU SAY, \u201cI am not able.\u201d\n\n* GOD SAYS, \u201cI am able!\u201d\n\n* Bible verse: 2 Corinthians 9:8\n
\u201cAnd God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work.\u201d<\/h6>\n \n\n*<\/strong> YOU SAY, \u201cI cannot make ends meet.\u201d\n\n* GOD SAYS, \u201cI will meet all your needs!\u201d\n\n* Bible verse: Philippians 4:19\n
\u201cAnd my God will meet all your needs according to His glorious riches in Christ Jesus.\u201d<\/h6>\n \n\n*<\/strong> YOU SAY, \u201cI am afraid.\u201d\n\n* GOD SAYS, \u201cI have not given you a spirit of timidity, but a spirit of power, of love and of self-discipline.\u201d\n\n* Bible verse: 2 Timothy 1:7\n
\u201cFor God did not give us a spirit of timidity, but a spirit of power, of love and of self-discipline.\u201d<\/h6>\n \n\n*<\/strong> YOU SAY, \u201cI am always worried and confused.\u201d\n\n* GOD SAYS, \u201cCast all your anxiety on Me.\u201d\n\n* Bible verse: 1 Peter 5:7\n
\u201cCast all your anxiety on Him because He cares for you.\u201d<\/h6>\n \n\n* YOU SAY, \u201cI am not smart enough.\u201d\n\n* GOD SAYS, \u201cI will give you wisdom.\u201d\n\n* Bible verse: 1 Corinthians 1:30\n
\u201cIt is because of Him that you are in Christ Jesus, who has become for us wisdom from God – that is, our righteousness, holiness and redemption.\u201d<\/h6>\n \n\n*<\/strong> YOU SAY, \u201cI feel totally alone.\u201d\n\n* GOD SAYS, \u201cI will never leave you; I will never forsake you.\u201d\n\n* Bible verse: Hebrews 13:5\n
\u201cKeep your lives free from the love of money and be content with what you have, because God has said, “Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you.”\u201d<\/h6>\nYou know, let us start speaking and thinking the way God speaks and thinks, and then we can enjoy the abundant life that God has prepared for us.\n\nMay God bless you abundantly today and in all the days to come!
