Every day God makes all things anew, and His mercies have been renewed for us this morning!\r\n\r\nWe are still reviewing elements of effective prayer. We have established that effective prayer includes worship and thanksgiving, as well as cooperation with God. We also discussed the things we can pray for. Today let\u2019s look at other parts of effective prayer.\r\n\r\nThe next element of effective prayer is\u00a0<strong>request<\/strong>\u00a0or\u00a0<strong>petition<\/strong>. We can pray for our needs.\r\n<h6>\u00abGive us this day our daily bread\u00bb\u00a0(Mathew, 6:11).<\/h6>\r\nEverything that bothers\u00a0us can be brought to God in prayer.\r\n<h6>\u00abBe anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus\u00bb\u00a0(Philippians, 4:6-7).<\/h6>\r\nWe also can pray for other people.\r\n<h6>\u00a0\u00ab..pray for one another, that you may be healed. The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much\u00bb\u00a0(James, 5:16).<\/h6>\r\nAlso we can ask God for wisdom.\r\n<h6>\u00abIf any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him\u00bb\u00a0(James, 1:5).<\/h6>\r\nUnfortunately, not all people are willing admit that they lack wisdom.\r\n\r\nWe can pray for prosperity as well. It is good and right, on a condition that you bring God your tithe and offerings. Ask God to bless your giving and reward you according to His Word.\r\n<h6>\u00a0\u00abBring all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be food in My house, and try Me now in this,\u201d says the LORD of hosts, \u201eif I will not open for you the Windows of heaven and pour out for you such blessing that there will not be room enough to receive it\u00bb\u00a0(Malachi, 3:16).<\/h6>\r\nPray for God to bless the work of your hands and give you opportunity to help other people.
