<\/h1>\r\nJesus Christ is the son of God, who came to this earth connect us back to God by dying to save the world from sin.<\/span>\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nThis what an ancient Jewish prophet said about Jesus: \u201c<\/em>The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world\u201d<\/em> (John 1:29 )<\/em>.<\/span>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\nJesus Himself answered this question by a seven I am statement from the gospel of John. I believe this will throw a better light on the question: who is Jesus Christ?<\/span>\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nSeven “I AM” Statements of Jesus<\/strong><\/span>\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\n1. I AM the bread of life.<\/strong>\r\n\r\n \r\n

  • John 6:35: Then Jesus declared, \u201cI am the bread of life. He who comes to me will never go hungry, and he who believes in me will never be thirsty.<\/span><\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\nJohn 6:48: I am the bread of life.\u00a0<\/span>\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\n2. I AM the light of the world.<\/strong><\/span>\r\n\r\n \r\n

    • John 8:12: When Jesus spoke again to the people, he said, \u201cI am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.\u201d<\/li>\r\n\t
    • John 9:5: While I am in the world, I am the light of the world.\u201d<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n \r\n\r\n3. I AM the door.<\/span><\/strong>\r\n\r\n\r\n<\/strong><\/span>\r\n

      • John 10:7: Therefore Jesus said again, \u201cI tell you the truth, I am the gate for the sheep.”<\/span><\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n\r\n<\/span>\r\n\r\n4. I AM the good shepherd.<\/span><\/strong>\r\n\r\n \r\n

        • John 10:11-14: \u201cI am the good shepherd. The good shepherd lays down his life for the sheep. The hired hand is not the shepherd who owns the sheep. So when he sees the wolf coming, he abandons the sheep and runs away. Then the wolf attacks the flock and scatters it. The man runs away because he is a hired hand and cares nothing for the sheep. \u201cI am the good shepherd; I know my sheep and my sheep know me….”<\/span><\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n\r\n<\/span>5. I AM the resurrection and the life.<\/span><\/strong>\r\n\r\n \r\n

          • John 11:25: Jesus said to her, \u201cI am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in me will live, even though he dies.”<\/span><\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n \r\n\r\n6. I AM the way, the truth and the life.<\/span><\/strong>\r\n\r\n \r\n

            • John 14:6: Jesus answered, \u201cI am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.”<\/span><\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n\r\n<\/span>7. I AM the true vine.<\/span><\/strong>\r\n\r\n \r\n

              • John 15:1, 5: \u201cI am the true vine, and my Father is the gardener. I am the vine; you are the branches. If a man remains in me and I in him, he will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing.”<\/span><\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n \r\n\r\nJesus is the only way for us to live an abundant life here on earth, or receive eternal life in fellowship with God.\u00a0 He is our connection with God and there is no other name under heaven through which we can have access to God, His promises and His gift of
