The whole world lies in wickedness &#8211; that is what the Word of God says. The Apostle John spoke about this, and the prophet Isaiah spoke about this. Darkness.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h6 class=\"wp-block-heading\">1 John 5:19 19 We know that we are of God, and the whole world lies under the sway of the wicked one. (NKJV)<\/h6>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The view of reality and the view of faith<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Where the world is heading<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>If you read some news or watch everything that is happening, you can ask the question: where is the world heading, where is it all going?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The prince of the power of the air<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>I want to say: look at which perspective you are looking from. If you look with the eyes of reality, with the facts that exist in the world, you think that this world is ruled by the evil one, the one the Bible calls &#8220;the prince of the power of the air.&#8221; We are supposed to see his hand everywhere: his cunning plan, maneuver, control. But God has given us different eyes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h6 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Ephesians 2:2 2 in which you once walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit who now works in the sons of disobedience, (NKJV)<\/h6>\n\n\n\n<p>There is a reality of what is happening in the world. We cannot deny it. The more you think about it, the more fear swallows you up, the more frightened you become. What will happen next?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>But let us look at where God has placed us. Jesus prayed in His last high-priestly prayer and asked the Father not to take us out of the world, out of evil, out of the world that is full of evil, but simply to keep us, Lord, from evil. Amen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h6 class=\"wp-block-heading\">John 17:15 15 I do not pray that You should take them out of the world, but that You should keep them from the evil one. (NKJV)<\/h6>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Evil will not touch the one who keeps himself<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The promise to the one who keeps himself<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>First thoughts: evil will not touch you. Only one person believes this.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h6 class=\"wp-block-heading\">1 John 5:18 18 We know that whoever is born of God does not sin; but he who has been born of God keeps himself, and the wicked one does not touch him. (NKJV)<\/h6>\n\n\n\n<p>But God knows that any challenge that comes, if you are in it, if you are in faith, you will pass through it worthily. Amen. Or God will gather you &#8211; that is also a victory. Who here thinks, does he hear what I am saying?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Amen?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>There is nothing left for you to fear. Just wait it out with God. Strengthen your faith. Strengthen your relationship with God. Let it be constant. And learn to look with the eyes of faith.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>There is a reality of what is happening in the world, but there is God&#8217;s reality, called upon your life, and my life, and the Church of God.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">God has prepared an answer for the darkness: light in His people<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Jesus &#8211; the light of the world<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Light as the answer to darkness<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Jesus says: &#8220;I am the light, as long as I am in the world, I am the light of the world.&#8221; That means there is darkness, and there is an answer to darkness &#8211; there is light.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h6 class=\"wp-block-heading\">John 9:5 5 As long as I am in the world, I am the light of the world. (NKJV)<\/h6>\n\n\n\n<p>And He said that if anyone walks with Me, he will not walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h6 class=\"wp-block-heading\">John 8:12 12 Then Jesus spoke to them again, saying, &#8220;I am the light of the world. He who follows Me shall not walk in darkness, but have the light of life.&#8221; (NKJV)<\/h6>\n\n\n\n<h6 class=\"wp-block-heading\">John 12:46 46 I have come as a light into the world, that whoever believes in Me should not abide in darkness. (NKJV)<\/h6>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">You are the light of the world and the salt of the earth<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The Church as God&#8217;s answer<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>And He even went on and said: you are the light of the world, you are the salt of the earth. Amen?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>That is a statement. That is, God has prepared an answer for the darkness that is in the world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h6 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Matthew 5:13-14 13 You are the salt of the earth; but if the salt loses its flavor, how shall it be seasoned? It is then good for nothing but to be thrown out and trampled underfoot by men. 14 You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden. (NKJV)<\/h6>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The world wants to enter the church like water into a ship<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Protecting the boundary of the heart<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>If the church allows the world to come into it or to enter the church, it will be like a ship that allows water to enter it and sinks. That is why we must be so careful and protect the boundary of our heart, so that the world does not get in there.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The world attracts with beautiful things. The world studies a person&#8217;s weaknesses and uses those weaknesses to draw him in.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Do not love the world<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, the pride of life<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>That is why the Word of God says: do not love the world or the things that are in the world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h6 class=\"wp-block-heading\">1 John 2:15-17 15 Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. 16 For all that is in the world &#8211; the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life &#8211; is not of the Father but is of the world. 17 And the world is passing away, and the lust of it; but he who does the will of God abides forever. (NKJV)<\/h6>\n\n\n\n<p>Amen. And those who do the will of God will abide forever. That is why our responsibility is to do the will of God in the spiritual world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">As the Father sent Me, so I also send you<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">God has sent us into this world<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>And when Jesus says: &#8220;Do not take them out of the world,&#8221; He even says this: &#8220;As the Father sent Me into the world, so I send you.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h6 class=\"wp-block-heading\">John 17:18 18 As You sent Me into the world, I also have sent them into the world. (NKJV)<\/h6>\n\n\n\n<p>Here is something interesting: Jesus came into the world, a cursed world, a broken world, a sinful world, and He brought answers, solutions. And even now, after what He established, many are restoring their relationship with God. And much of what was destroyed &#8211; the soul &#8211; is being restored. And He says that this is your task. Just as God sent Me, I have sent you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Yes, there is darkness in the world. But do not be frightened by it; be faithful and responsible where God places you. Amen. We have a responsibility not only before God, but also before those who depend on us. And God gives us His mercy, His help. If we are ready to go, ready to shine, ready to do the will of God, He will give us help and support, and an abundance of grace will be in our life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Isaiah 60: arise and shine<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The call and the statement<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What this means for me<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>The book of Isaiah, the sixtieth chapter, is very classic for this time. I know that we all read these thoughts very often.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h6 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Isaiah 60:1-3 1 Arise, shine; For your light has come! And the glory of the Lord is risen upon you. 2 For behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, And deep darkness the people; But the Lord will arise over you, And His glory will be seen upon you. 3 The Gentiles shall come to your light, And kings to the brightness of your rising. (NKJV)<\/h6>\n\n\n\n<p>I especially, during this week, all of us, &#8220;Spirit and Truth,&#8221; the Church, have been reflecting on this passage. There is a call, there is a statement. Amen. The call: arise and shine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I especially reflected on what this means for me. Arise and shine. How do I do this?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Am I already doing it?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Or do I still need to understand it?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>How can I grow in this?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Amen?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The statement &#8220;your light has come&#8221; &#8211; what does this mean for me?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Where has this light come?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>And do I know that the light has already come?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Amen?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>That my light has already come?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Am I living in this light?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This is important. And after this he says: do not be frightened by the fact that darkness has covered the earth and deep darkness the people. This is usually what we state more often. We need to state that my light has come.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Darkness runs away when the light appears<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Darkness is afraid of the light<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Yes, there is deep darkness over the peoples, there is darkness in the world. Tell me, please, who is afraid of what?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Is the light afraid of the darkness, or is the darkness afraid of the light?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>How is it in your understanding?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What it means to stand up and shine<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>I would like a reaction from you. Who runs away when the second one appears?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The light or the darkness?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Darkness runs away when the light appears. That is why God says: arise, shine, because the darkness will run away. Amen?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>And we really need this not to be just like a theory, like some kind of declaration. Let us look at what this means for me. What does it mean to &#8220;stand up and shine&#8221;?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Because, dear friends, in the world where we live, there is darkness and there is deep darkness. Amen?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Say that the light has already come to us.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I do not know where God is leading me with this thought.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">First Thessalonians 5: sons of light and sons of the day<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Reading from the first to the eighth verse<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>First Thessalonians. We will come back to this from July 10, but the fifth chapter of First Thessalonians and the fifth verse. Or we can go a little bit higher. Let us read from the first verse to the eighth verse.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">We are not sons of the night, nor of darkness<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Well, apparently God is changing my sermons.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h6 class=\"wp-block-heading\">1 Thessalonians 5:1-8 1 But concerning the times and the seasons, brethren, you have no need that I should write to you. 2 For you yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so comes as a thief in the night. 3 For when they say, &#8220;Peace and safety!&#8221; then sudden destruction comes upon them, as labor pains upon a pregnant woman. And they shall not escape. 4 But you, brethren, are not in darkness, so that this Day should overtake you as a thief. 5 You are all sons of light and sons of the day. We are not of the night nor of darkness. 6 Therefore let us not sleep, as others do, but let us watch and be sober. 7 For those who sleep, sleep at night, and those who get drunk are drunk at night. 8 But let us who are of the day be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love, and as a helmet the hope of salvation. (NKJV)<\/h6>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">This passage affirms the darkness and the light<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The reality of the prince of this world<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>This passage again affirms the darkness and the light, right?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>There is a reality in the world in which we live. There is darkness in the world. There is a prince who rules in this world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Arise, do not sleep<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Even if you want to close your eyes to the fact that this is not there, you will not manage to deny it for long, to do that. Because this is reality. There is darkness in the world. Amen?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Amen?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>But this passage tells us that we should not sleep. Isaiah said: arise, do not sleep. Amen?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>That means not to sleep. You do not give way to the night and you do not give way to the darkness.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">God wants not dogmas, but revelation<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Revelation governs the mind and the action<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>God affirms this. Do you believe in this?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Are you aware of this?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Is this understanding working in your life?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Does it determine your reaction to everything that is happening around you?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">I am a child of light, not a child of the night<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>A lot of questions. Because God does not want us to simply believe in dogmas. He wants us to have revelation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>And in principle the word &#8220;the light has come&#8221; &#8211; that means that you have revelation about this. You understand this very well. And not only do you understand it very well: this thought, this revelation governs your mind and directs your action.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>My light has come. I am a child of light. I am not a child of the night. That is why not one of these things will catch me off guard, that is, suddenly, because I am watchful. This is what God wants from us, as from His children: to be watchful, watchful in spirit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Three disciplines that make us spiritually sensitive<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Time with God, time in the Word, fellowship with the saints<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>And you know that every time God speaks about watchfulness, He speaks about our spiritual sensitivity. We cannot be spiritually sensitive if we do not spend time with God, if we do not spend time in His Word, if we do not spend time in fellowship with the saints.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>These three disciplines are very important in the life of a believer: always to be in fellowship with God, to be in the Word of God, and to be in fellowship with one another, so as to encourage one another, inspire one another, convict one another, correct one another, so that everyone carries ministry, so that we are watchful.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Arise and shine, for your light has come. Amen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h6 class=\"wp-block-heading\">1 Thessalonians 5:6 6 Therefore let us not sleep, as others do, but let us watch and be sober. (NKJV)<\/h6>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Ephesians 5: you were darkness, but now you are light in the Lord<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Reading from the eighth verse<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Walk as children of light<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>The fifth chapter, and let us read the sixth verse. All right, let us start from the eighth. Who is following the thought?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Do not participate in the unfruitful works of darkness<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>I will have an opportunity later, since I have already gone away from my sermon for today, to share with you what God is saying. So let us be attentive, right?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h6 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Ephesians 5:8-14 8 For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Walk as children of light 9 (for the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness, righteousness, and truth), 10 finding out what is acceptable to the Lord. 11 And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather expose them. 12 For it is shameful even to speak of those things which are done by them in secret. 13 But all things that are exposed are made manifest by the light, for whatever makes manifest is light. 14 Therefore He says: &#8220;Awake, you who sleep, Arise from the dead, And Christ will give you light.&#8221; (NKJV)<\/h6>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">We were once part of the system of darkness<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">God judges the motive of the heart<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>This is what I want us to reflect on, all these three passages. You were once darkness, it is written. We were once part of the system of darkness, and everything there is hidden, because what is done now in darkness &#8211; it is a mystery, that is what it is called: a mystery. Everything is covered by darkness.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>But you are now children of light. Our life is not spatial. Who here is with me?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Spatial. Some have already left the kingdom of darkness, but they still use the principles of darkness.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>When God judges, He judges the motive in the heart, and those who use the principles of darkness will perish together with those who are in darkness.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>And He calls us to stand up and not sleep, because Christ &#8211; the light, has come. To live in the light.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Living in the light is not so easy<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Where there is no light, darkness takes over<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Tell me: live in the light. You know, it is not so easy to live in the light. Then he believes so. It is not so easy to live in the light.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>But if we do not begin to live in the light, we give place to darkness. Because where there is no light, darkness aggressively flows in and takes over. Where there is no light, darkness takes over more aggressively.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dear brothers and sisters, let us be children of light. Let us shine, let us allow the light of God&#8217;s truth to govern our life. Amen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The program of light: confession and prayer for one another<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Do not hide the true state of the soul<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Do you know why God says, for example: confess your trespasses to one another, pray for one another, that you may be healed?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Do you know why?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This is part of the program of light.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h6 class=\"wp-block-heading\">James 5:16 16 Confess your trespasses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much. (NKJV)<\/h6>\n\n\n\n<p>When we walk in the light, we do not hide from one another the true situations, the true states of our soul. Because if we do that, we will not have healing. And the unknown will begin to sow unhealthy things.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">His glory will shine over us<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The call: arise, the Lord will give you light<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>There is the reality of darkness in this world, but there is another reality. God has a Church, He has people who have light and revelation. And when we shine, then, although deep darkness will be over the peoples, His glory will shine over us.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>How I wish that we would have this testimony, that God&#8217;s glory shines over us. Tell your neighbor: arise, the Lord will give you light. Say: let us walk in the light. Say: you have light. Your light is the revelation of God&#8217;s truth, Christ, who lives in you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Amen?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Let us be watchful.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h6 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Ephesians 5:14 14 Therefore He says: &#8220;Awake, you who sleep, Arise from the dead, And Christ will give you light.&#8221; (NKJV)<\/h6>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Three weapons and one attitude: soberness, faith, love, hope<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The attitude of soberness<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Overcoming darkness with three weapons and one attitude<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Let us return to First Thessalonians and read the eighth verse.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h6 class=\"wp-block-heading\">1 Thessalonians 5:8 8 But let us who are of the day be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love, and as a helmet the hope of salvation. (NKJV)<\/h6>\n\n\n\n<p>Being children of light, we overcome the darkness in this world. Amen. We overcome the weight or the influence of darkness with three weapons. Amen. And one attitude &#8211; the attitude of soberness.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Be sober. Amen. Be sober. With every neighbor, be sober.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What it means to be sober<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The example of a drunk man<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>What does it mean to be sober?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It means not to be intoxicated by the world. A sober person is always aware of his surroundings. He is careful. He is aware that there is danger around. He takes himself in hand. He looks where he is going.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A drunk person does not look where he is going. What must we do when we see darkness?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Say: oh, what darkness, oh, here is darkness, oh, there is nothing here. That is, in order for the word to become understandable, it must enter into us. And when this word has entered into us, it turns on the light and gives us understanding. We begin to understand what to do, when to do it, how to do it, because revelation comes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>So light is connected with the entrance of God&#8217;s Word into us. In the name of Jesus Christ, so that our mind would always be renewed by Your Word.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h6 class=\"wp-block-heading\">1 Thessalonians 5:8-9 8 But let us who are of the day be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love, and as a helmet the hope of salvation, 9 for God did not appoint us to wrath, but to obtain salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ, (NKJV)<\/h6>\n\n\n\n<p>We thank You, Lord, that we can take the breastplate of faith and love and the helmet of the hope of salvation. Thank You that You are our hope. We are destined for salvation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Thank You, Lord. Thank You for Your salvation in all life situations. Your salvation, Your life, Your protection, Lord, are always with us, because we are not appointed to wrath. We thank You, Lord, in the name of Jesus Christ.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Prayer for one another<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Let darkness disappear, let clarity come<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>I pray for every brother and every sister. You can touch someone, pray and say: Lord, thank You for my brother, thank You for my sister, thank You, Lord, that this word, let this word encourage, help, affirm.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Thank You, Lord, that we all walk in the light. Lord, You are the God who enlightens us in the darkness.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I pray, Lord: enlighten the darkness of my brother, of my sister, enlighten, Lord, let the darkness disappear, Lord, let clarity come from You, let revelation from above come, which enlightens us and gives us understanding.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Thank You, Lord, that we have wisdom for making decisions. Every day, whatever situations may come, we will know what to do. We will make the right decisions, and Your name will be glorified, Lord.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We thank You, Spirit of God.
