Welcome to our \u201eDaily Word for Spiritual Edification\u201d!\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nYesterday we talked about the benefits of listening to God\u2019s voice. Based on several passages from John (10), we learned that\u00a0when we hear God\u2019s voice, God goes ahead of us and leads us, teaching us to discern His voice.\u00a0God also teaches us to distinguish His voice from the voices of strangers. When we hear God\u2019s voice we will enjoy eternal life that Christ has brought us. Besides, when we learn to hear and discern God\u2019s voice, we will enjoy God\u2019s supernatural protection.<\/strong>\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nToday we will look at some other blessings that come into our lives when we learn to hear His voice. Let\u2019s turn to the Bible.\u00a0<\/strong>\r\n\r\n \r\n
\u00abGood and upright is the LORD; therefore He teaches sinners in the way. The humble He guides in justice, and the humble He teaches His way. All the paths of the LORD are mercy and truth, to such as keep His covenant and His testimonies. For Your name\u2019s sake, O LORD, pardon my iniquity, for it is great. Who is the man that fears the LORD? Him shall He teach in the way He chooses, He himself shall dwell in prosperity, and his descendants shall inherit the earth. The secret of the LORD is with those who fear Him, and He will show them His covenant. My eyes are ever toward the LORD, for He shall pluck my feet out of the net\u00bb. Psalm (25:8-15).<\/h6>\r\n \r\n\r\nThe verses above tell us about certain advantages that are made available to us because of the leading of the Holy Spirit and knowing God\u2019s voice.\r\n\r\n \r\n

  • Your soul will dwell in prosperity and your descendants will inherit the earth.<\/strong><\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\nBeing led by the Holy Spirit is the source of true prosperity. Prosperity implies success in all areas of life. If you are a student, you will be successful, because God will teach to you all things necessary. God will show you the way He has chosen for you. God will reveal to you His secrets. Secrets are information that is hidden from the others, but open for you. It is precisely the knowing God\u2019s secrets that make us successful. The Lord\u2019s secrets are able to transform any ordinary person into a great person in every area of life, whether farming or parenting, preaching or leading a home group, treating people medically or any other activity. God has secrets that will make us great wherever we are.\r\n\r\n \r\n

    • God\u2019s supernatural protection.<\/strong><\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\nGod plucks our feet out of the net:\r\n
      \u00abMy eyes are ever toward the LORD, for He shall pluck my feet out of the net\u00bb\u00a0(Psalm, 25:15).<\/h6>\r\n \r\n\r\nA net is an enemy\u2019s trap for your soul that is meant to destroy or restrict you. But when you follow the leading of the Holy Spirit, God does not only give you prosperity, but He also protects you. That is why it says in the Bible that God\u2019s blessings make us rich and add no sorrow to our lives:\r\n\r\n \r\n
      \u00abThe blessing of the LORD makes one rich, and He adds no sorrow with it\u00bb\u00a0(Proverbs, 10:22)<\/h6>\r\n \r\n\r\nThe Bible also states that everything God does endures forever. Nobody is able to destroy or cancel what God makes and builds. For this reason nobody was able to harm Jesus before the appointed time, when Jesus Himself gave up His soul. Jesus was protected by God the Father because he followed the leading and the guidance of the Father. This is also the reason behind His boldness and confidence as we demonstrated in the following passage:\r\n\r\n \r\n
      \u00a0\u00abOn that very day some Pharisees came, saying to Him, \u201cGet out and depart from here, for Herod wants to kill you.\u201d And He said to them, \u201eGo, tell that fox, \u2018Behold, I cast out demons and perform cures today and tomorrow, and the third day I shall be perfected.\u2019 Nevertheless I must journey today, tomorrow, and the day following; for it cannot be that a prophet should perish outside of Jerusalem\u00bb\u00a0(Luke, 13:31-33).<\/h6>\r\n \r\n\r\nNobody will be able to harm you if you know God\u2019s voice and follow the leading of the Holy Spirit.
