I am so glad for the opportunity to address every one of you reading this word with a message that will encourage and uplift you. We are continuing to talk about the advantages of being led by the Holy Spirit and hearing God\u2019s voice. Let\u2019s turn to the Holy Scripture.\r\n\r\n \r\n
\u00abSo then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God\u00bb (Romans, 10:17).<\/h6>\r\n \r\n\r\nEarlier we talked about two Greek words that are translated as \u201eword\u201d in the Bible: one of them is LOGOS, and the other \u2013 RHEMA or RHEMATOS. As we have already said, LOGOS is the written Word of God, but RHEMA \u2013 the voice of God that speaks to a people individually that addresses definite situations or circumstances that they go through. In other words, RHEMA is God\u2019s word to you amidst of your trials and life battles. RHEMA is\u00a0when God speaks to you personally through His Word<\/u><\/strong>.\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nWhen we hear a\u00a0rhema<\/em>\u00a0word it is though the letters and words from the Scripture jump right into your heart and become for you a real source of life, encouragement and solution to your problems. That\u2019s what\u00a0rhema<\/em>\u00a0is! When you receive\u00a0rhema<\/em>word from God, you live by what you have heard. God continues to speak to us through His Word and His Spirit. The voice of God is the source of the spirit of faith.\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nThere are two dimensions of faith:<\/strong>\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nTHE WORD OF FAITH<\/strong>\r\n\r\n \r\n
\u00abBut the righteousness of faith speaks in this way, \u201cDo not say in your heart, \u2018Who will ascend into heaven?\u2019\u201d (that is, to bring Christ down from above) or \u201c\u2019Who will descend into the abyss?\u2019\u201d (that is, to bring Christ up from the dead). But what does it say? \u201cThe word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart\u201d (that is, the word of faith which we preach)\u00bb\u00a0(Romans, 10: 6-8)<\/h6>\r\n \r\n\r\nTHE SPIRIT OF FAITH<\/strong>\r\n\r\n \r\n
\u00abAnd since we have the same spirit of faith, according to what is written, \u201eI believed and therefore I spoke,\u201d we also believe and therefore speak\u00bb\u00a0(2 Corinthians, 4:13).<\/h6>\r\n \r\n\r\nThe commandments of the Lord are not the same thing as the voice of God. The Lord\u2019s commandments is what differentiate LOGOS from RHEMA. The Lord\u2019s commandments are LOGOS, while the voice of God is RHEMA:\r\n\r\n \r\n
\u00a0\u00abNow it shall come to pass, if you\u00a0diligently obey the voice of the LORD your God<\/u>,\u00a0to observe carefully all His commandments<\/u>\u00a0which I command you today, that the LORD your God will set you high above all nations of the earth\u00bb\u00a0(Deuteronomy, 28:1).<\/h6>\r\n \r\n\r\nWhen you hear God\u2019s voice it makes you stronger and cleanses your life of all confusion and chaos. When you hear the voice of the Lord it awakens in you the spirit of faith and takes you up into God\u2019s dimension and His frequency where everything is subject to your command. So the level of our faith depends on our ability to hear God\u2019s voice.
