{"id":9847,"date":"2026-01-21T04:00:00","date_gmt":"2026-01-21T02:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/satchurch.lv\/?p=9847"},"modified":"2026-01-20T05:01:01","modified_gmt":"2026-01-20T03:01:01","slug":"do-waste-time-rather-invest-will-outlive-time-earth","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/satchurch.lv\/en\/do-waste-time-rather-invest-will-outlive-time-earth\/","title":{"rendered":"Do not waste your time, but rather invest in what will outlive your time on earth"},"content":{"rendered":"Peace with you dear friends!\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nI want to tell you an old story about three men who were crossing a desert on horseback during the night. At the moment when they were approaching a dry riverbed, suddenly a voice spoke to them: “Stop, get off the horse and fill your pockets with rocks.” The same voice instructed them not to look at these rocks until the morning came.\r\n
\r\nThe voice promised that in case of their obedience they would experience joy and sorrow simultaneously at the end. Each of the men obeyed the voice, filled their pockets with rocks and left.<\/h6>\r\n \r\n\r\nAt daybreak they took their rocks out of their pockets and, to their surprise, discovered that the rocks had turned into diamonds and gemstones. In the same moment men these men realized the meaning of the promise they were given about\u00a0joy and sorrow simultaneously at the end.\u00a0<\/strong>Sure they were happy for the diamonds. But they felt sorry for not taking more.\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nIn heaven we will enjoy the treasures that we have gained and sent there during our lifetime on earth. We will experience joy because of the rewards from Jesus Christ, but at the same time we will be sorry for not doing our best to serve Him more or minister in His name on earth.\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nThis is what Jesus meant when He invited people to do the following:\r\n
“Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy, and where thieves break in and steal.\u00a020But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where moth and rust do not destroy, and where thieves do not break in and steal.\u00a021For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also. ”\u00a0(Matthew 6:19-21)<\/h6>\r\n \r\n\r\nDo not waste your time, but rather invest in what will outlive your time on earth. Send your treasures to heaven by investing in those who are going there. Many are rich with goods and treasures of this world, but they are poor toward God. The Bible calls such people fools:\r\n\r\n \r\n
“But God said to him, \u201cYou fool! This very night your life will be demanded from you. Then who will get what you have prepared for yourself?\u201d\u00a021This is how it will be with anyone who stores up things for himself but is not rich toward God.” (Luke 12: 20-21)<\/h6>\r\nGod will open all doors before you if you are only ready to serve Him and commit yourself to Him 100%.\r\nMy wish for you is that you all become rich toward God and are satisfied in this life.\r\nI also wish you more joy and less sorrow in the life to come.\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nPeace be with you!\r\nPastor Rufus Ajiboye","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" Send your treasures to heaven by investing in those who are going there.
