What is favour?

Peace to you, dear friends! Today I would like to share with you a word about the power of favour. I believe this word will be a special blessing to you. In this series of devotionals, I will talk about what favour is. We will discuss the foundation of favour and about how to release, maintain and multiply favour in our lives.  I believe this to be an amazing revelation which will have a great influence on our lives.Today I will try to give a description of the word ‘favour’. What is favour?
  • Favour is a secret desire of an individual to take part in your life and help you to be „the best you”.
  • Favour is the grace and benevolence of other people towards you.
  • Favour is the acts of kindness and mercy that others show towards you.
  • Favour also means having special privileges or someone’s support and/or help.
All of this is your heritage in Christ. God desires to cover your life with favour.
«For You, O Lord, will bless the righteous; with favour You will surround him as with a shield» (Psalm 5: 13).
If you are made righteous through faith in Jesus Christ, then God promises to bless you and surround you with favour as a shield. Decide for yourself today that you will walk in the favour of God in all the areas of your life. May God bless you today in a special way! Till tomorrow! Pastor Rufus Ajiboye

    Calling upon God – means to have habitual prayer life. Prayer helps us to draw near to God and releases His provision, because He is close to all who call upon Him. We also talked about the fact that our provision depends not only on our ability to call upon God, but also on how much we fear God. To fear God means to avoid evil, to do good, to seek peace and to follow it. God’s provision and blessing is the reward of those who fear Him. We also pointed out that God has secrets that are meant for dedicated people who call upon His Name and walk in the fear of the Lord. Besides all of the above, it is important to know that dedication to God is impossible without the love for Him.
