The truth shall make free

Good day friends, thank you for taking few minutes to feed your spirit through our daily word for spiritual strength.
It is my desire that you will love the word of God more and more and apply it to your life.

 

Many people today are running here and there in search of freedom, deliverance and happiness. However, God has place in our hand the responsibility of delivering ourselves from the snare of the devil

“Give not sleep to thine eyes, nor slumber to thine eyelids.Deliver thyself as a roe from the hand of the hunter, and as a bird from the hand of the fowler” (Proverb 6: 4-5).

Jesus said you shall know the truth and the truth shall make free (John 8:32).

 

It is the truth you apply to your life that guarantee your freedom.

 

There is no amount of prayers by others that will help you in your pursuit of freedom and happiness if you neglect biblical principle of walking in freedom.

 

God’s instruction for you today is to:

  • Deliver yourself through genuine repentance (Proverb5: 22; 2Timothy2: 24-26; James 5: 16; Proverb 28: 13);
  • Deliver yourself through forgiveness (Mathew 6: 15; 5:25-26; 18: 34);
  • Deliver yourself through obedience to the truth (2 Corinthian 10:3-6;Isaiah 63: 10);
  • Deliver yourself through prayer and fasting (James 5: 13,16; Hebrew 4: 16; Mathew 17: 14-21);
  • Deliver yourself through worship and thanksgiving (2 Chronicle 20; Acts 16; Jonah).

Remember, prayer doesn’t work when you neglect biblical principles, so in your search for freedom and happiness, allow the word of God to guide and direct your life.

When you serve, you give what is yours – time, money, energy, sleep, food etc. God loves generous hearts, and He can’t pass by this type of people. Do you know why God blessed Abraham? It was because Abraham was a generous man. He was ready to give anything to God. Abraham left his family in obedience to God; he yielded to his nephew and allowed him to choose a place of lodging first. Abraham gave tithe to God at the time when no such law existed. He did not refuse to sacrifice to God his own son. For this reason God blessed him.

    God does this work through the Holy Spirit. We can collaborate with God in this process by our full obedience to Him. God wants to change you. If you are shy today, God wants to see you bold.     In order for life to flow from us, we need to first be filled with this life. Bible tells us that Jesus Christ is the way the truth and the life. We observed Solomon who measured long and burdensome way looking for his happiness and satisfaction. Thanks God for having it written for us, so that we can avoid the mistakes Solomon mentions in the book of Proverbs. Solomon has understood that life without God is an absolute illusion, but happiness without God is a mirage. This is what he writes as a conclusion to his book: «This is the end of the matter. All has been heard. Fear God, and keep his commandments; for this is the whole duty of man. For God will bring every work into judgement, with every hidden thing, whether it is good, or whether it is evil.» (Ecclesiastes 12:13-14).
