Life is a trust

Good day, dear friends! Thanks God for this wonderful day and for another opportunity to be feed and filled with the living word from God! As we stated earlier, it’s very important for us to understand the essence and the value of life itself. It was also said, that life is time, and life is goal and life is a test. When you understand that life is time, you plan your time in such a way so that you can manage to accomplish the right and the most important things of life first. Every person was born to solve a certain problems and to accomplish a particular purpose Understanding this truth helps us to live strategically. Besides, when a person understands life is a test, he relates to every difficult situation in life as an opportunity, not as an obstacle. Today I would like to touch yet one more side of life. Life is a trust. You should understand there is nothing that belongs to you. Your life itself is not yours, it’s a trust God has shown to you. Understanding this truth changes the way you respond to what is going on around you. You do not live for yourself; you did not appear on this Earth by your own act of will or for your own personal purpose. God has given life to you as a sign of His trust for you. You are entrusted with life from God and the day will come when you will have to give account to God for the life He given to you, – for all your deeds and words while living in your body. The understanding of this truth will make your life important. We do exist because of Him, not the other way round. God can live without me, but I, in turn, cannot live without Him. God has entrusted me with my life, therefore. It belongs to Him. Life is a trust! Saying you trust God doesn’t make you a hero. It’s silly not to trust God. Anybody can trust God. There is no reason why one should not trust the Almighty, all knowing God. There is a different question to answer. Whom does God trust? It’s easy for you to trust God, while it’s important to know whether God trusts you. It’s necessary that God can trust you. God has entrusted you with your life, so that He can bless you and release more and more of His resources into your life. However, in order for that to happen, you have to prove to God that He can trust you by the way you relate to all the things you have already received from Him. Each of us has received something from God. You can prove to God that He can trust you by understanding that everything you possess has been given to you by God and by using all your talents the right way and for the right purpose. Once you prove to God that you can be trusted with things of value, He will bless you with more and more of His eternal resources,- more and more power, wealth, anointing, grace, influence and glory. Please do a self evaluation and check yourself out on how you are using all what God has already given to you. Majority of Christians think their prayer is the key to everything, so whenever they run into problems, they turn to God in prayer, asking Him for help and so on. I am not trying to underestimate the power of prayer; it’s truly important and essential in our Christian life to prayer and to run first to God in the days of trouble. But my point is this: prayer (petition) can’t resolve all our problems; petition can’t solve problems caused by disobedience. All problems caused by disobedience can only be resolved through true and sincere repentance and not prayer as many people understand it. Obedience is a sign of repentance. When we deserve God’s trust, God gives us much more than the desires of our heart or what we are asking for. God will do exceeding more abundantly above that which we ask or what we can imagine (see Ephesians 3: 20).
«Be careful therefore how you hear. For whoever has, to him will be given; and whoever doesn’t have, from him will be taken away even that which he thinks he has.»(Luke 8:18).
The above spiritual principle works in the Kingdom of Heaven: the one who has, to him will be given more. If you use and apply the truth that you already received more will be given unto you, other wise, you will begin to loose the truth you knew before. Truth not applied will be lost. This is a fundamental truth in the bible. You need deep understanding of this truth, because if you reason otherwise, you will be feeding your pride and no truth from the Scripture will be ever benefit you unless you make up your mind to apply them to your life. Everything in your life must be based on this fundamental truth. Life is a God’s trust to you. May we better justify His trust to us by bearing a lot of fruits for the benefit of His Kingdom! This is what He expects from us! God bless you abundantly!See you tomorrow!Rufus Ajiboye, pastor

  • Searching for the meaning of life II

Let’s look at the steps that Solomon took in order to find the meaning of life. We will see what conclusions Solomon came to. The first thing Solomon turned to was acquiring of wisdom and knowledge. «I communed with my heart, saying, „Look, I have attained greatness, and have gained more wisdom than all who were before me in Jerusalem. My heart has understood great wisdom and knowledge.” And I set my heart to know wisdom and to know madness and folly. I perceived that this also is grasping for the wind. For in much wisdom is much grief, and he who increases knowledge increases sorrow» (Ecclesiastes, 1:16-18).
  • The reward of faithful service in the Kingdom of God

One of the rewards of faithful service in the Kingdom of God is prosperity. The Bible says God is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him (Hebrew 11: 6). Jesus also said those who seek first the Kingdom of God and its righteousness will be rewarded with the necessities of life. Our God is a God who sees in the secret and who rewards us openly, so other can see it. God will never forget your work and the labour of love you showed towards His Name (Hebrew 6:10).
  • Apart from Him there is no true satisfaction and happiness! III

We will continue about Solomon’s search for happiness, satisfaction and the meaning of life. We have already discussed that in the beginning of his life Solomon sought God and loved him, and God gave him wisdom and riches, happiness and fulfilment in life. But Solomon got caught up with superficial things of this world and started to follow other gods. Solomon started seeking for happiness and satisfaction in things and activities. He found only disappointment in them and then he turned back to his beginning. The story of Solomon is a lesson to all of us; it tells us that the meaning of life, happiness and satisfaction cannot be found anywhere but in God alone. So we need to develop and strengthen personal relationships with God.
  • Changes through Ministry III

Ministry helps us to live for others not just for ourselves. When a person has a servant or serving heart, his life is focused on making other people happy instead of waiting on the other people to make him happy. Somebody with such an attitude and life position has no time for depression or for self-pity. His life is rather focused on searching for and helping other people who lives in poorer conditions himself instead of sitting around celebrating self- pity party. The person who understands the purpose of true ministry doesn’t live for himself, but his goal is to love God and to love other people.
  • You make room for Him and His Word in your daily schedule

“Whoever has my commands and obeys them, he is the one who loves me. He who loves me will be loved by my Father, and I too will love him and show myself to him.”According to the above passage, there is a process or protocol we need to follow if we want to see and experience the manifestations of God in our lives and in ministries. Now it is true that God is an omnipresence God. He is present everywhere at the same time. However, it is important to note that his presence is more real and felt in some places than anywhere else. What determines such a big difference? This is what I mean when I say we need to follow a protocol. Following the right protocol is what differentiates between the intensity of God’s manifest presence in our lives, home and churches.
  • Life is a Purpose

God has created each of you for a certain purpose. God has a common purpose and a personal (individual) purpose for each of us. Our common goal is to glorify the Lord. However, God also has a peculiar purpose He has created every individual to fulfill. I was sent to the Earth to solve certain problems. If you are driven by such awareness you will live a strategical life. Each of you has a certain goal and a purpose set by God.
