You make room for Him and His Word in your daily schedule

Dear friends! Welcome to our daily word for Spiritual strength. I hope you have been enjoying this daily word. It is my prayer that you will be strengthened and refreshed as you meditate on this fresh word from God today. I want to conclude our discussion on starting ministry and life in the presence of God. There is one last thing I want to show you today as I conclude this topic. And this will be a lesson from the teaching of Jesus Christ Himself in the book of John 14:21:
“Whoever has my commands and obeys them, he is the one who loves me. He who loves me will be loved by my Father, and I too will love him and show myself to him.”
According to the above passage, there is a process or protocol we need to follow if we want to see and experience the manifestations of God in our lives and in ministries. Now it is true that God is an omnipresent God. He is present everywhere at the same time. However, it is important to note that his presence is more real and felt in some places than anywhere else. What determines such a big difference? This is what I mean when I say we need to follow a protocol. Following the right protocol is what differentiates between the intensity of God’s manifest presence in our lives, homes and churches. The key in this process is to love God. Even though God loves you, the only way you can experience and enjoy more of His love is to love Him and spend more time with Him and in His word. Spending time in the presence of God will make His presence more real to you. When we spend time to love God, then we will experience His love in our lives. Let us see God’s message to us from our passage of the day. To love God means to have His command. I hope you understand that His command is the same thing as His Word. We cannot love God without His Word. Your love to God is measured by your attitude to His word. You must spend time to fill your heart with the word of God if you truly love God. If you do not have time for His word, then you are too busy doing the wrong thing. Our ministry starts by spending time with God and in His word. That is what demonstrates and proves that our true motive for ministry is love for God; that is what helps us to serve others more effectively, and that is what releases His manifest presence to bless others as we serve them. The Bible clearly states that you should:
 “Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly as you teach and admonish one another with all wisdom, and as you sing psalms, hymns and spiritual songs with gratitude in your hearts to God. 17And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him” (Colossians 3:16-17).
As you spend time to put in His word, you will be able to admonish others with all wisdom and do everything you do to the glory of God. Jesus continues to say that it is not enough to have His commandments if we love Him. To love God is to have His commandments and obey those commandments. It is to those who love Him enough to know and obey His commands that Jesus promised to show Himself. Have you qualified yourself for the manifestation of God, or are you too busy to do that?     I want to begin this word with a story: A man had a wonderful garden that brought him a rich, abundant harvest. When his neighbor saw that, he decided that the next spring he would make a garden for himself too. But after the neighbor had sawn seeds in his garden, he did not do anything there afterward. He did not water his garden, did not cultivate, neither loosened the soil. When the autumn came, his garden was neglected and full with weeds. And, of course, it did not bring forth any fruit.

    Laying hold of eternal life means that a person strives to stay on the narrow road which leads to eternal life. Jesus knew that it would be so convenient for many to walk the broad road; being on this road, a person feels comfortable and lives without any restrictions; he does what he wants to do and is not limited by any commitments. But the Bible says that it is the way of sin, because a person is not accountable and moves ‘without brakes’, so to speak; this way leads to destruction. God says that we shouldn’t walk on this way. We must flee sin; we must cast aside all the worldly, ungodly things that hinder us, otherwise we won’t get to our destination – eternal life. Jesus says that many people will deny faith.

    A breakthrough moves us from weakness to strength. This crippled man’s feet and ankles were weak, therefore he could not walk. When God gave him a breakthrough, his feet and ankles immediately became strong. «…7Taking him by the right hand, he helped him up, and instantly the man’s feet and ankles became strong. » (Acts 3:7).

  • Why we can’t grow spiritually if we do not serve others?

    Here is one of the reasons why we can’t grow spiritually if we do not serve others. If we do not serve we become like those who only receive and not give out. Sooner or later such a person starts to stink spiritually. Look at any body of water that water flows into but doesn’t flow out of. After some time this water becomes stagnant and lifeless.
