Any change in our life is done by the Holy Spirit, who transforms us and moves us from glory to glory

Welcome, dear friends! I am so happy to share with you the word God put into my heart today. I believe it´s going to strengthen you and make you wiser.Yesterday we began to talk that we can reveal ourselves only when we enter the presence of God. Your own life and potential are hidden in Christ. Each of us is willing to transform, though, it can only happen in the presence of God and through having personal fellowship with God.
«But we all, with unveiled face beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are transformed into the same image from glory to glory, even as from the Lord, the Spirit.»(2nd Corinthians 3:18).
Any change in our life is done by the Holy Spirit, who transforms us and moves us from glory to glory. Are you able to accomplish something only the Holy Spirit can do? Surely not! However, by constantly watching the glory of the Lord with open face the Holy Spirit can transform us into the same image, from glory to glory.I noticed there is a problem with persistence in our fellowship with God not with coming before Him. You probably experience the time when inspiration visits you and you are willing to get closer to God and have fellowship with Him. While those moments come rather rarely or very rarely they do not change anything in essence. We all need persistence! During fellowship with God Holy Spirit will work at your heart, at your character, at your relationships, at your way of thinking that, in turn, will transform you. What does transformation mean?It means change of your perception of the ongoing events, so that you start looking at things God´s way. Transformation means internal freedom, being what God wants you be, ability to fulfil God´s will in your life. In opposite case, our old way of life will prevent us from fulfilling the God´s will. The more sermons you listen to while reducing your time spent with God, the more shut your heart will be. That´s why many believers stay unchanged for years, regardless of all kind of sermons they have heard. When God invites us for fellowship, it should not be treated as a punishment. God is not willing to steal our free time nor trying to burden us in any kind of way. Vice verse, fellowship with Him is our privilege, opportunity to transform, this is the time to reveal your inner self. Fellowship with God changes us internally! Global changes in your life start with changes in your heart.
«If then you were raised together with Christ, seek the things that are above, where Christ is, seated on the right hand of God.» (Colossians3:1).
Always seek the things that are above! Seek Christ seated on the right hand of God then your life will be revealed and you will also be revealed with him in glory. Let´s continue tomorrow!Be blessed!Rufus Adjiboje, pastor

  • We change and become the partakers of God’s nature through the knowledge of God and His promises

«..as His divine power has given to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him who called us by glory and virtue, by which have been given to us exceedingly great and precious promises, that through these you may be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust» (2 Peter, 1:3-4).
  • Our life is a product of what we see IV

There are two options for the future. First option is what I call the predictable future. We must carefully look at our past and present. When thinking of the future we must realize that if we don’t change the things we do every day then it will be easy to predict our future, – the future won’t be any different than the present. If we do not make any changes today, then tomorrow we will have the same results; we will live in the same conditions, if not worse.
  • Love is a weapon of victory of the last time!

“At the last days” – said Jesus – “the world will be full of hatred, sin, betrayal, resentment and bitterness.” Those who are not able to walk in love will experience serious problems at the last days – faced the power of sin they will not be able to fight it, get emotional injuries shortening their lives. Such people will end up with heart attack and nervous breakdown caused by the stream of evil, hatred, betrayal, rebellion and ingratitude over-flooding the world at the last days.
  • Faith is obedience to the Lord!

Are you willing to experience God and His power in your life? If so, trust God and express it via your obedience to Him. The Bible says that without faith you can´t please the Lord. If you don´t please God you cannot experience His presence nor power neither. When God reveals you something He is going to accomplish, you have to follow his invitation without hesitation. It proves your devotion and your desire to listen to His voice. Meanwhile, disobedience turns your heart to stone and shuts our ears to God´s voice. Faith is acting in accordance to the word of God. Quite often God calls us to do impossible things, those only God Himself can accomplish.
  • God does all things for our good

What does the word “all” include? Everything that is happening in your life right now! God wants to reach a certain goal; and in order to do that He uses even our circumstances. He allows particular difficult situations to happen to us in order to change and transform us and our character, to make us more like Jesus.
  • The goal and intentions of God for men on the earth

Heaven is the place from which Jesus rules and reigns over everything. What God says about us in His Word is the truth which we must believe. Now we have God’s nature in us and it must be continually fed and nurtured. We must believe that now we have heavenly authority and power that was given to us in order to destroy the works of devil on earth. That is what Jesus did when He walked on the planet earth: He destroyed and undo the works and intentions of the devil. He set an example for us to follow in His foot steps:«For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that He might destroy the works of the devil» (1 John, 3:8b).
