Is anything too hard for the Lord?

Greetings to you, dear friends!I am so happy to have this opportunity to share the Word of God with you today. I would like us to look at a story about Sarah, Abraham’s wife. Here we’ll find another very important princple of faith.
„And He said, „I will certainly return to you according to the time of life, and behold, Sarah your wife shall have a son.” (Sarah was listening in the tent door which was behin him.) Now Abraham and Sarah were old, well advanced in age; and Sarah had passed the age of childbearing. Therefore Sarah laughed within herself, saying, „After I have grown old, shall I have pleasure, my lord being old also?” And the Lord said to Abraham, „Why did Sarah laugh, saying, ‘Shall I surely bear a child, since I am old?’ „Is anything too hard for the Lord? At the appointed time I will return to you, according to the time of life, and Sarah shall have a son.” (Genesis, 18:10-14).
This story is very interesting because it talks about so many of us today. So very often we pray and pray and expect God to move, but, seeing no signs of changes in our situation, many of us accept it as the will of God and lose every desire to keep expecting a miracle. Possibly, a man won’t tell others that he does not believe in his miracle anymore, but inside he will say it loud and clear. That is what happened to Sarah. She did not say anything out loud, but inwardly she laughed, because she had decided that it is impossible. This laughter revealed to God what was happening in Sarah’s heart. She was asked then: „Why did Sarah laugh?” Sarah did not expect such a turn of events. God asks us this very important question just like He asked Sarah and we have to pay attention to it: „Is anything too hard for the Lord?”This question is so crucial because how we answer it will determine the measure of God’s involvment in our lives. This question helps us to realize that how much we know about God affects the level of our faith. When a person believes that there is nothing impossible for God, that person has a particular attitude towards life, a particular reaction to hardships, a particular spiritual attitude that appears when he or she runs into difficult problems that do not change for a long time.Is anything too hard for the Lord? Are there any situations in your life, which the Lord cannot change? Are there any situations in your family, your ministry, your church, or your relationships, which the Lord cannot change? Is there anything that God cannot change? No! There is noting impossible for the Lord!Do not give up! Do not give up your faith in God’s miracle for your life! Keep believing that God will alter you situation and your circumstances. This is the time when you need to go on believing God and then those things that seem humanly impossible will change. Today God desires for you to believe that there is nothing impossible for Him.Despite the fact that Sarah laughed, God still promised to come back at the appointed time and that Sarah would have a son. The seed – her son – was the promise given by God to Abram a long time ago. We must not lose faith in the promise given to us by God despite the situation and circumstances around us.Keep praying, keep working on the promises, keep sowing them like a seed, keep watering them through right confessions. Keep expecting that in due time everything God promised you will come to pass and you will be able to give birth to these promises, just like it happen to Sarah. Remeber that there is nothing impossible for God! It says in the Word of God that
“the things which are impossible with men are possible with God” (Luke, 18:27).
May God bless you today! Pastor Rufus Ajiboye

  • We are hands, feet, mouth and heart of our God

We concluded that we are hands, feet, mouth and heart of our God. If we refuse to collaborate with God, He will not be able to act or fulfil His plan in our cities and our countries. We stopped at what do we have to do in order to witness spiritual revival filling our cities? To make it happen we must become obedient disciples of Jesus Christ. God uses this kind of people to fulfil His prophesies and restore His will on Earth.Obedient disciple is one who moves and works for God, not sitting and doing nothing, so God can move through such person.

One of the main tasks in this life is for us to find out this plan. After his salvation Apostle Paul set his heart on finding out his purpose in life.
  • Transformed person is a person with the right and pure motives

Transformed person serves other people because he loves them, not in order to benefit from them. It makes me sad when I meet people who minister because it gives them a certain benefits. It´s awfully hard to change a person who has such motives. Judas Iscariot who betrayed Jesus was one of this kind. For three and a half years he had stayed with Jesus, but in no way it changed him, because he had sinister motives. Judas Iscariot was greedy, money loving man. Jesus put Judas in charge with financial part of His ministry, so he had access to money and offerings. First Judas began to steal money from their pay-box, later also betrayed his Master.
  • The Christian as an ambassador II

After Jesus left the earth and ascended to heaven, He commissioned us to be His ambassadors or the sent ones (His representatives) on the earth. So we must understand and receive a profound revelation concerning the spiritual authority and power that we have in Christ. The Bible says that Christ made us kings and priests in order that we can reign on earth for Him. It is God, our heavenly Father desires that we all to be busy about His business. His business is to reconcile people with Him. God desires to do the work of reconciliation through us – «we implore you on Christ’s behalf, be reconciled to God». He wants us to declare the word of reconciliation. « God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, not imputing their trespasses to them, and has committed to us the word of reconciliation » (2 Corinthians, 5:19).
