The law of multiplication

I bless you, precious children of God, on this wonderful day and pray that God’s Word would be revealed to you in a special way and enrich your life. Today I want to discuss with you the law of multiplication. Let’s look into the Bible.
«And He said, „The kingdom of God is as if a man should scatter seed on the ground, and should sleep by night and rise by day, and the seed should sprout and grow, he himself does not know how. For the earth yields crops by itself: first the blade, then the head, after that the full grain in the head. But when the grain ripens, immediately he puts in the sickle, because the harvest has come»(Mark, 4:26-29).
Jesus speaks here of the power that is hidden in seed and about its potential. This passage of Scripture clearly shows that growth or multiplication is a process and not an instant event.  If we have seed and sow it in good ground, then we will definitely see a harvest. Seed will grow. Sown seed first gives blade, then head and then grain in the head. Multiplication and growth always imply process. It is unavoidable if we want to receive harvest. We just have to do our part. First, that we have to understand in order to receive harvest is that we need some seed. The truth is that we already have seed. If you want to see multiplication in some area of your life you should know that you already have seed from God. But until you sow the seed there won’t be any grown or changes. There are no short cuts to multiplication; it is a process. Until you sow you seed you won’t see any differences or changes in your life. What does that mean to sow seed? It implies the part that should be done by a person, not God. It is similar to farmer’s work: in order to receive harvest he needs to sow and to plant, then he waters, then he weeds; that is, he works hard to create the most favourable conditions for the seed he has sown. As soon as farmer does his part he can fully trust the Lord Who gives increase. «..and should sleep by night and rise by day, and the seed should sprout and grow, he himself does not know how. For the earth yields crops by itself…»  We are not able to explain how seed grows; we don’t understand this process fully, but we can do our part. And when we do our part, God promises that there will be multiplication and harvest. It is God Who sends rain, sunshine and everything else necessary for the seed to produce crops.     The Lord is coming again! And this parable is prophetic. Jesus is our Lord and He is returning! When He comes back, He will reward every person as he or she deserves. Jesus also will condemn those who deserve it. Verse 19 says that the master came „after a long time”. It means that Jesus is coming at the time when He won’t be expected. But it also means we need to be alert. We must be alert!

  • Whatever a man sows that shall he also reap

    All of life is sowing. Our words are seeds, our actions are also seeds. Even our all your passivity or inactions are also seeds. So, everyday of your life, you are either sowing into the flesh or sowing into the spirit. One way to sow into the spirit is make use of every opportunity to do that which is good towards all men, especially towards them that are of the household of faith.

  • Ministry and giving determines the measure of one’s spiritual growth and maturity

    We are still talking about the blessedness of ministry and giving. We discussed that the one who loves God always serves people. Whoever serves people is blessed and exalted by God. God can’t support those that are only concerned with their own well-being and does not have any time for the promotion of the Kingdom of God.Ministry and giving determines the measure of one’s spiritual growth and maturity. It also determines how much I bear a resemblance to Jesus Christ. God wants us to grow spiritually. One of the indications of one’s spiritual growth is how he or she fulfils the needs of others. Such a person not only takes and receives, but also gives. Giving and ministry is one and the same word that determines how much of resemblance to Jesus Christ I bear.

  • How to turn tragedy into triumph?

    The world we are living in is full of tragedies, so the word tragedy itself is well known to all of us either christians or pagans. Though, studying the Bible, we understand that the in God´s initial purpose for human kind was something different. The Bible affirms God blessed a man.«God blessed them. God said to them, “Be fruitful, multiply, fill the earth, and subdue it. Have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the sky, and over every living thing that moves on the earth.”» (Genesis 1:28)

  • There are three main types of believers: observers, consumers/users and servants!

    What type of a believer are you? What are you: an observer, a user or a servant? Today we will attempt to establish what distinguishes observers and consumers from servants.Observes do not care for what goes on around them; they demonstrate indifference. What happens in church does not concern him; he thinks that he only needs to attend Sunday services. He is there for the worship and the sermon and it is enough for him. Such a believer has no problems; he is doing fine at work and at home. He simply observes the events around him and he is happy.
