The seed contains tremendous potential III

Greetings to you, dear readers of „Daily Word for Spiritual Edification”! I believe that God inspires you through this word. Don’t hold back on the testimonies, let us know how this word helps and inspires you. We will be so happy to hear from you.Today I would like to continue speaking about the power and the potential hidden in the seed.Yesterday we spoke of what needs to be done in order for the seed of God’s Word to bring abundant fruit in our lives. Also we saw that there can be different sizes of the harvest: some seed bring thirtyfold, some sixtyfold, some hundredfold fruit, but also there are those that remain unfruitful. The lack of fruit is caused by the wrong attitude towards God’s Word and condition of the ground. What does fruitfulness depend on? On the level of understanding of the mysteries of God’s Kingdom. As we mentioned, if a person listens to the Word of God but does not understand it, then Satan comes and steals the Word. Those who understand the Word bring forth fruit – thirtyfold, sixtyfold and hundredfold. That is why the first requirement for being fruitful in His kingdom is an understanding of the mysteries of God’s Kingdom. Today I would like you to see to whom God reveals the mysteries of His Kingdom.
«And with many such parables He spoke the word to them as they were able to hear it. But without a parable He did not speak to them. And when they were alone, He explained all thins to His disciples» (Мark, 4:33-34).
We see here that the mysteries of God’s Kingdom are revealed only to the disciples of Jesus Christ. Unless a person becomes a disciple of Jesus Christ he is able to hear and see the truth of God’s Kingdom only in parables. Jesus once told His disciples:
«You are My friends if you do whatever I command you. No longer do I call you servants, for a servant does not know what his master is doing; but I have called you friends, for all things that I heard from My Father I have made known to you» (John, 15:14-15).
There are no secrets between God and His disciples. In order for a person to reach a place where God’s Word becomes clear to him and he starts to understand it and personally apply it to his life, there is a mandatory requirement: this person must become a disciple of Jesus Christ.
«And He said to them, „To you it has been given to know the mystery of the Kingdom of God; but to those who are outside, all things come in parables» (Мark, 4:11).
Only the disciples have been given to know the mysteries of the kingdom of God.When we do not understand something we are not able to use it in different life situations. Many people do not understand the truth, so they live as in a fog because the truth is given to them in parables. When the truth of God is revealed and clear to us, then we are able to apply it to our life; it helps us to come to strong convictions that are based on God’s Word. The understanding of God’s truth gives us an ability to live on a higher level and quality. The Gospel of Luke (24:25-27, 32-35) says that God’s truth clears out all confusion and mess from our heads, helps us to be confident in our actions. Without understanding you won’t be able to fulfil the task set before you. When particular things become clear then solution of a problem comes to you easily. God’s Word has to be explained. Also, you cannot understand God’s Word with you mind; you need a revelation that comes from the Lord. And when a revelation comes, then the Word can be easily applied for growth, healing, transformation, protection etc. I would like you to focus on another important issue: Jesus explained the secrets of His Word when He was alone with His disciples. This tells us that to understand of secrets of God’s Kingdom two important requirements have to be met:
  1. You must become a disciple of Jesus Christ.
  2.  When you have done it, you must spent time alone with Him.
As God’s disciples we are His sheep that listen to His voice, and God gives us life. When we behave as the disciples of Christ we bring forth fruit. Dear friend! Maybe you already are a believer; you go to church, read the Bible, but all of these things do not automatically make you a disciple of Jesus Christ. His disciples exhibit special traits: they spend time with God, they spend time in His Word, they worship the Godhead, they do their best to be obedient to His Word, they desire to imitate Jesus and do His works and they desire to reflect His lifestyle. These are the qualities that mark a true disciple of Jesus Christ. Are you a disciple of Christ? Do you spend time with Him? This is what you fruitfulness depends on.Be blessed! Till tomorrow! • Lust brings sin, and sin brings death II

Lust is excessive appetite for something. For example, uncontrollable sexual desire leads to rape, fornication, adultery and different types of sexual perversion. It can also lead to sexual illnesses, sometimes incurable. Moreover, feelings of guilt, depression, suicidal tendencies, breaking up of marriages, sufferings of children, violence, hatred and other similar things are often the result of sexual lust. Lust can also be experienced in the area of finances, drinking or eating. It all has brought pain and suffering to many people in the form of some addiction: alcoholism, drug addiction, gambling, stealing, treachery, murder etc.
  • The law of multiplication II

“Those who sow in tears shall reap in joy. He continually goes forth weeping, bearing seed for sowing, shall doubtless come again with rejoicing, bringing sheaves with him” (Psalm 126:5-6). This Scripture confirms that the one who sows and labours – even if it takes tears – will doubtlessly reap with joy. If we use our God given seed correctly, which means if we sow the seed even with tears then God promises us abundant harvest and lots of joy. All these parables of Jesus tell us of the kingdom of God.
  • God’s discipline II

    1. Use the spiritual weapons God has given you: «Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. Put on the whole armour of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. Therefore take up the whole armour of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Stand therefore, having girded your waist with truth, having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and having shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace; above all, taking the shield of faith with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God» (Ephesians, 6:10-17).
  • The generosity and hospitality that opens doors for God’s intervention

“The Lord appeared to Abraham near the great trees of Mamre while he was sitting at the entrance of his tent in the heat of the day. Abraham looked up and saw three men standing nearby. When he saw them, he hurried from the entrance of his tent to meet them and bowed low to the ground. He said, “If I have found favour in your eyes, my lord, do not pass your servant by. Let a little water be brought and then you may all wash your feet and rest under this tree. Let me get you something to eat, so you can be refreshed and then go on your way – now that you have come to your servant.” “Very well,” they answered, “do as you say.” “Where is your wife Sarah?” they asked him. “There in the tent,” he said. Then the Lord said, “I will surely return to you about this time next year, and Sarah your wife will have a son.” Now Sarah was listening at the entrance to the tent, which was behind him.”
  • Your gift will make room for you!

«A man’s gift makes room for him, and brings him before great men» (Proverbs, 18: 16).Your gift will make room for you and will broaden your boarders, if you won’t hide it. So many times believers ask: «Where is my place in the Body of Christ? What is my calling?»Do what you know. This simple principle gives an answer to many questions. Find the thing that you know how to do; find what you can do to promote the Kingdom of God, to help the church to grow and to extend your influence in the society.
