Our life is a product of what we see IV

Greetings to you, dear friends! Once again I salute you on the pages of „Daily Word for Spiritual Edification”!I thank God for the opportunity to share with you the revelations God gives me. I believe that this word inspires you, just as much as it inspires me. For several days now we have been talking about creating the future we can enjoy. Today we will finish talking about this topic. There are two options for the future. First option is what I call the predictable future. We must carefully look at our past and present. When thinking of the future we must realize that if we don’t change the things we do every day then it will be easy to predict our future, – the future won’t be any different than the present. If we do not make any changes today, then tomorrow we will have the same results; we will live in the same conditions, if not worse. All of us know that every person has certain habits. It tends to be rather difficult to get rid of old habits. But a successful future is impossible without getting rid of wrong habits that a person has at present. Second option is the desired future that is the future we desire to experience. In order to reach this future we are ready to change things and our lives. If you don’t like the life you have today and your achievements, if you don’t have peace, if you are not content with what you have attained at present, it means only one thing: you have to start changing things in your life. Miracles do not happen for “no reason”. There are two sides to every miracle – human side and God’s side. Before the children of Israel crossed the sea, Moses did his part that God told him to do. He had to take his staff and hold it towards the sea. When Moses did his part, God did His, – He parted the sea. Unless Moses did his part, God would not be able to do His. There would be no miracle. Miracles do not happen accidently. A successful business, a happy family, obedient children – these things are not accidental; they take a human doing and then God’s doing. For example, the Holy Spirit won’t pray instead of you; He helps us in our weakness. We need to pray, and then the Holy Spirit will be helping us. We can think of our future as something happening by accident. We must enter the partnership with God. We must pray. We must ask God some questions. We must be like Noah. God revealed to him that there is flood coming to the earth; after that Noah started to build his future – an ark. When the flood came, it was not a surprise to him; Noah was totally prepared. Noah calmly entered into the future he had prepared long before the flood. We enter what we have prepared. For this reason, it is very important to start building the future today. What future are you building today? Are you like Noah who was building the ark for the future? The flood will come, and the things you have built will be your protection tomorrow. God bless you! May God give us wisdom so that we can cooperate with God and enter the future He has envisioned for us! Till tomorrow! Pastor Rufus Ajiboye

  • God loves you but do you love God?

One of proofs of your love for God is to love those whom He loves. You know that God loves the Church of Jesus Christ, and that He also loves the lost people (who have not yet come to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ). How your love for God is reflected in your attitude towards the church and unbelievers around you?Do you have the passion to see His church grow and to advance the values of the Kingdom of God through His Church Do you have the passion to see His lost sheep brought back to his fold?
  • I desire mercy and not sacrifice

«As Jesus passed on from there, He saw a man named Matthew sitting at the tax office. And He said to him, „Follow Me.” So he arose and followed Him. Now it happened as Jesus sat at the table in the house, that behold, many tax collectors and sinners came and sat down with Him and His disciples. And when the Pharisees saw it, they said to His disciples, „Why does your Teacher eat with tax collectors and sinners?” When Jesus heard that, He said to them, „Those who are well have no need of a physician, but those who are sick. But go and learn what this means: ‘I desire mercy and not sacrifice.’ For I did not come to call the righteous, but sinners, to repentance» (Mathew, 9:9-13).
  • Preparation of the way of the Lord III

We have established that God only comes when we have prepared the way for Him. We can do that by ministering to Him and fulfilling His calling in our lives. We pointed out that we have to use all possible means to preach the Gospel of Kingdom in this world, because that is the necessary prerequisite for the Coming of the Lord in glory and power. Let’s look at one more verse from the Scripture that talk about preparing the way of the Lord.
  • Changes mean working hard persistently!

God does this work through the Holy Spirit. We can collaborate with God in this process by our full obedience to Him.God wants to change you. If you are shy today, God wants to see you bold. If you are doubtful today, God wants to see you full of faith. Even if you are shy and pretend being as such because you inherited this quality from your ancestors and relatives – let me tell you, God desires to change it in you. He will accomplish this task if you allow it to Him.
  • The law of multiplication

If we have seed and sow it in good ground, then we will definitely see a harvest. Seed will grow. Sown seed first gives blade, then head and then grain in the head. Multiplication and growth always imply process. It is unavoidable if we want to receive harvest. We just have to do our part. First, that we have to understand in order to receive harvest is that we need some seed. The truth is that we already have seed. If you want to see multiplication in some area of your life you should know that you already have seed from God.
  • Suffering as a method of discipline

One of the reasons God allows suffering in the lives of His children is that He desires to draw our attention to Himself, to correct and discipline us. We know that God mostly corrects us by His Word: «All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work» (2 Timothy, 3:16-17).
