Our life is a product of what we see IV

Greetings to you, dear friends! Once again I salute you on the pages of „Daily Word for Spiritual Edification”!

I thank God for the opportunity to share with you the revelations God gives me. I believe that this word inspires you just as much as it inspires me.
For several days now we have been talking about creating the future we can enjoy. Today we will finish talking about this topic.
There are two options for the future. The first option is what I call the predictable future. We must carefully look at our past and present. When thinking of the future, we must realize that if we don’t change the things we do every day, then it will be easy to predict our future-the future won’t be any different from the present. If we do not make any changes today, then tomorrow we will have the same results; we will live in the same conditions, if not worse.
All of us know that every person has certain habits. It tends to be rather difficult to get rid of old habits. But a successful future is impossible without getting rid of wrong habits that a person has at present.
The second option is the desired future, which is the future we desire to experience. In order to reach this future, we must be ready to change things and our lives.
If you don’t like the life you have today and your achievements, if you don’t have peace, if you are not content with what you have attained at present, it means only one thing: you have to start changing things in your life. Miracles do not happen for “no reason.” There are two sides to every miracle – the human side and God’s side.
Before the children of Israel crossed the sea, Moses did his part that God told him to do. He had to take his staff and hold it towards the sea. When Moses did his part, God did His-He parted the sea. Unless Moses did his part, God would not be able to do His. There would be no miracle. Miracles do not happen accidentally. A successful business, a happy family, obedient children – these things are not accidental; they take a human doing and then God’s doing.
For example, the Holy Spirit won’t pray instead of you; He helps us in our weakness. We need to pray, and then the Holy Spirit will be helping us.
We cannot think of our future as something happening by accident. We must enter the partnership with God. We must pray. We must ask God some questions. We must be like Noah. God revealed to him that there was a flood coming to the earth; after that Noah started to build his future – an ark. When the flood came, it was not a surprise to him; Noah was totally prepared. Noah calmly entered into the future he had prepared long before the flood. We enter into what we have prepared. For this reason, it is very important to start building the future today.
What future are you building today? Are you like Noah who was building the ark for the future? The flood will come, and the things you have built will be your protection tomorrow.
God bless you! May God give us wisdom so that we can cooperate with God and enter the future He has envisioned for us!
Till tomorrow!
Pastor Rufus Ajiboye

When He took on flesh, He was limited by it and He needed the Holy Spirit. As people we live in flesh and we also are limited by it. The only way for us to overcome these limitations is to rely on the Holy Spirit. We must be aware of the necessity and our dependency on the Holy Spirit. We must seek Him daily.

  • Everything that is hidden will unavoidably be brought into the light II

«Blessed is he whose transgression is forgiven, whose sin is covered. Blessed is the man to whom the Lord does not impute iniquity, and in whose spirit there is no deceit!» (Psalms, 32:1-2) David says that after repentance God’s forgiveness comes into person’s life, his transgressions are forgiven, his iniquities are not imputed to him and his sins are covered. David says this person to be blessed. One who does not hide an iniquity in his heart is open before God. But there is no forgiveness for the one who does not repent and does not confess his sins to God.

  • Do You Hear What God Speaks? III

There is another voice that we hear – it is the voice of other people and the voice of human standpoint. For example, the voice of experts goes in this category – a doctor who proclaims what the medical equipment indicates. A doctor may tell the patient that he will die in three days, because the medical equipment, the analyses and his own medical experience show that. Praise the Lord for our doctors, but we must know that the last word always belongs to God. God often says the totally opposite to what experts say. In such cases, it is necessary that we, while being respectful towards different specialists, put aside the expert conclusions and trust God, not people. The more you trust the expert conclusions and not the Word of God, the less God can give you life.

  • Your gift will make room for you! II

«A man’s gift makes room for him, and brings him before great men» (Proverbs, 18: 16).Studying the church history, we see that all of God’s generals didn’t start big. These people used what they had and did whatever they could. They began using the abilities they had. Eventually, their gifts found their place in the Body of Christ and grew into large ministries. For example, Dr. T.L. Osborn saw that people needed salvation, so he started meeting this need to the best of his ability: he started printing little tracts on his printing machine and went door to door leaving them in their post boxes. At the time he couldn’t even imagine that it will lead him to huge international evangelistic ministry that he has today.
