What are these people that God reveals His plans to?

Greetings to you, dear friends!Praise God for this wonderful day which God has given us! Thank God for one more opportunity to be filled with His living Word!Yesterday we started talking about God revealing His will only to those that desperately seek him. God reveals His secrets to the people that seek Him so that He could bless those that live on earth. We also saw that God reveals His secrets to a particular category of people. What are these people that God reveals His plans to? God reveals His secrets to God-fearing people that love Him.«The secret of LORD is with those who fear Him, and He will show them His covenant» (Psalm, 25:14).«For the perverse person is an abomination to the LORD, but His secret counsel is on the house of the wicked» (Proverbs, 3:32).«Who is the man that fears the LORD? Him shall He teach in the way He chooses» (Psalm, 25:12).«The fear of the LORD is the instruction of wisdom, and before honor is humility» (Proverbs, 15:33).These verses of Scripture tell us that God has fellowship with the people that are righteous and fear Him, and they are the ones God reveals His covenant and His secrets. If you want God to be with you and reveal to you His secrets and your destiny, then you need to learn to walk in the fear of the Lord. Many people ask God questions concerning their lives, but they do not get any answers because there are no signs of the fear of God in their lives. For example, Saul asked God what he should do in a difficult situation, but
“the LORD did not answer him, either by dreams or by Urim or by the prophets” (1 Samuel, 28: 6).
But when David asked the Lord, He always answered.
«Therefore David inquired of the LORD, saying, „Shall I go and attack the Philistines?” And the LORD said to David, „Go and attack the Philistines, and save Keilah”»(1 Samuel, 23:2).
Why was there such a difference? The reason is that Saul did not have the fear of the Lord; David was a God-fearing man. Then, what is the fear of the Lord? What does it mean to fear God? Let the Bible give us answers to these questions.
«Blessed is the man who fears the LORD, who delights greatly in His commandments» (Psalm, 112:1).
«The fear of the LORD is to hate evil; pride and arrogance and the evil way and the perverse mouth I hate» (Proverbs, 8:13).
«You who love the LORD, hate evil! He preserves the souls of His saints; He delivers them out of the hand of the wicked» (Psalm, 97:10).
«By humility and the fear of the LORD are riches and honor and life» (Proverbs, 22:4).
According to the verses above to fear God means to love God, to respect Him and stick to His commandments. The fear of the Lord means to hate what God hates and to hate evil. To fear God means to continually humble oneself before Him, acknowledging his or her dependence on Him. It is to this kind of people that God reveals His wisdom and secrets.Tomorrow we will see who else God reveals secrets and covenant to.I wish you God’s abundant blessings!Pastor Rufus Ajiboye

God so desires for us to seek Him early in the morning. He so desires for us to return to Him. He wants to heal us and to bind up our wounds. God so wants to revive and restore us, so that we could live before Him. When we seek the Lord, when we seek to know Him, He comes and immerses us into His presence; He pours out His rain on us and waters the earth.Yesterday we talked about how Moses set up a tabernacle outside the camp for all seekers of the Lord. We also saw that instead of entering the tabernacle and seeking the face of the Lord, Israelites were simply observing how Moses spoke to God and how God answered Moses.
  • What kind of privileges or advantages does the person who hears God’s voice possess over the others who don’t?

Usually, we never dedicate time to something unless we realise its advantage and strict necessity for us. When we realise what we are losing by not understanding and hearing God’s voice, then we can become zealous and motivated to do our best in order to dedicate time and attention to it. You must understand that satan is a thief and given a smallest chance he will take away all our privileges and opportunities in God.
  • What other effects of unforgiveness can we see?

Unforgiveness destroys godly relationships and causes splits in the Body of Christ. There is so much chaos in the Church of Jesus Christ because of offended people. Many of them are not able to fellowship with one another and built friendship due to offenses and the fear of rejection. Many people build huge walls around them due to unforgiveness. They receive new „revelations” that separate them from the other people even more and make them passive.
  • The example of accountability in the life of apostle Paul II

Leaving for his mission Paul didn´t make himself unaccountable just because he had already been anointed and free. At that moment Paul had become a mature minister established many churches. Nevertheless, he was still an accountable person. He returned to the church at Antioch, to the place he had been sent from, to meet those whom God had been made an authority over Paul. Moreover, Paul also held an account before the apostles in Jerusalem regarding the way his ministry was going.«Then after a period of fourteen years I went up again to Jerusalem with Barnabas, taking Titus also with me. I went up by revelation, and I laid before them the gospel which I preach among the Gentiles, but privately before those who were respected, for fear that I might be running, or had run, in vain». (Galatians 2:1-2).
  • How to develop a habit of prayer in our life?

«Thanks God, I already have such habit». I am glad about you. The other might say «I´ve already tried, but failed to do so”. I am glad about you too.I pray today, so that this Word helps you to overcome your weakness and instability solving this issue.First of all, I want to stress out the fact, that prayer is love relationships with God. Why do I mention that and why it´s so important when you try to make prayer as your habit. We already discussed it, that prayer is not learning of different methods about how convince God to do our will. Lack of necessity to pray is one of few reasons why believers pray just a little.
  • The wisdom of repentance II

David talks about the obvious advantages that are available to a person after he has confessed his sins.1. Supernatural freedom from guilt and condemnation.« I acknowledged my sin to You, and my iniquity I have not hidden. I said, „I will confess my transgression to the Lord,” and You forgave the iniquity of my sin» (Psalm 32:5). Right after we confess our sins God takes away from us the burden of guilt. When our own hearts condemn us, when we experience the guilt caused by our sins, it is extremely hard to boldly go before Godi n prayer. Feelings of guilt destroy our confidence. So, in order for us to get rid of the guilt we need to repent of our sins.

  1. That was splendid well done Sir. I will look forward to reading part 2.
Thank you Sir. God bless you

  2. What is the fear of God, can it be explained in one little email? Is it the right question. Who gives understanding. In the chapters of Daniel we read that Daniel in prayer repented not only for his own sins but for all the generation of Jerusalem, Israel and Judah request God to remove his anger for them. Why? Because Daniel explains that they followed foreign gods and ignored the prophets God made known to talk to them about their own sins. Daniel makes this reference that the word the Lord spoke to Jeremiah is about the situation around Daniel in those ancient days. Jeremiah spoke about this about 175 years in advance. The Lord gave to Daniel three messages from Gabriel, from Michael and from the one who looks like the son of man. What was the messages ? Gabriel made known to Daniel about the Anointed one, Michael interpreted to Daniel his prayer during repentance, and the one who looks like the son of man and touched Daniels lips and gave him strength to speak. Michael said to Daniel not to fear because he was highly esteemed because of his prayer. Daniel did not speak to Michael, he spoke only to Gabriel and to the one that looks like a man. Gabriel spoke to Daniel saying to him that in the moment of his prayer to the Lord about repentance and forgiveness a word was send out immediately and the Lord gave Gabriel the instruction to interpret for Daniel. Jesus says, if you acknowledge me, I will acknowledge you in front of my father. What does it mean ? John interprets a understanding about Jesus, describing Jesus as the Lamb for our sins. Jesus also interprets an understanding when He teaches the crowds in Matthew 5 about the 1st, 2nd, 6th and 7th commandment His purpose that He didn’t come to abolish ( put an end to ) the Law but to put an end to sacrifice and offering. If the Lord were to ask each individual person about their own sins the transformation is going to start not by looking at what others is doing wrong but with ourselves. The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom.
