Planning helps us to discover for ourselves the goal of our lives and steer our efforts towards fulfilling this goal

Peace upon you on this wonderful day! Today, I want to share with you the word about the importance of planning. Plan has a direct connection to our future. Planning is looking into our future and making assumptions of what our tomorrow will be like, and composing definite action steps in order for our life to flow according to the set course, instead of drifting. Nobody plans yesterday, and it is too late already to plan today. We plan the next day, the next week, the next month. We plan the future. Whoever does not want to think about the future, will be forced to live only in the past or only in the now. Through planning, we decide what our action steps will be like and what our desired result will be, according to our action. Planning is thinking about your future with a purpose, using all the currently available information and possibilities and using those wisely for your future.Planning is one of the expressions of wisdom, therefore those who do not plan are openly demonstrating their foolishness and ignorance. Planning helps us to discover for ourselves the goal of our lives and steer our efforts towards fulfilling this goal. The Bible says,
„Where there is no revelation, the people cast off restraint; but blessed is he who keeps the law.” (Proverbs 29: 18).
Another translation of „revelation” means revelation of the redemptive purposes of God, but the phrase „cast off restraint” is translated as „destruction”. Thus, without a clear understanding of the redemptive purposes of God, the nation of God is destroyed because they cast off restraint.  A nation is destroyed when they do not have a clear understanding where they are going and how they will get there. Many people are destroyed because they do not have a vision or understanding about the goal of life. Where there is no revelation about godly destiny, there will be no direction, no planning, and no strategies. Without vision or the understanding of purpose, all of our efforts will only lead to disappointment. Without the revelation about purpose, all of our efforts will be directed at nothing. Planning helps us to discover our purpose in life and steer our efforts towards the fulfilment of this purpose. It helps us to clearly understand our purpose and the direction toward which we are heading. A person cannot start planning unless he first understands where he is going or what he really wants. Planning forces us to address and settle such issues. Planning demands that a person have a definite and clear goal. Sometimes our understanding of our purpose or goal in life is too blurry, non-specific and general. Therefore it is sometimes hard to move forward to reach the goal. But planning helps us to be definite in relation to what we really want in life and how we are going to reach it. Have you defined what you want in your life? Toward what are you directing your efforts at present? Does that correspond to the goals or mission of your life? Before you cram up your planner with various programmes and activities, ask yourself: What do I want to achieve in my life and how will these activities help me to reach my goal? Remember: He who does not plan is openly showing his foolishness and ignorance. We will continue this topic tomorrow. May the Lord bless you! • In order for us to do the works of Jesus, we must ask for it in prayer!

«Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father. And whatever you ask in My name, that I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son» (John, 14:12-13).When Jesus Himself says ‘most assuredly’, it means He wants us to pay attention. These two verses are connected. Jesus says that we can do the works that Jesus did and even more, if we pray. Jesus tried to tell His disciples that He has been given all authority in heaven and on earth and that He will represent them in heaven, because He will be sitting with Him on the heavenly throne. Jesus told His disciples that they should ask in His name and that He would do what they ask so that His Father would be glorified.
  • You make room for Him and His Word in your daily schedule

“Whoever has my commands and obeys them, he is the one who loves me. He who loves me will be loved by my Father, and I too will love him and show myself to him.”According to the above passage, there is a process or protocol we need to follow if we want to see and experience the manifestations of God in our lives and in ministries. Now it is true that God is an omnipresence God. He is present everywhere at the same time. However, it is important to note that his presence is more real and felt in some places than anywhere else. What determines such a big difference? This is what I mean when I say we need to follow a protocol. Following the right protocol is what differentiates between the intensity of God’s manifest presence in our lives, home and churches.
  • Poverty and failure have roots and laziness is an obvious one

One of the reasons for spiritual coldness and lukewarmness is negligence and laziness. Marital failure, financial poverty, failure in ministry and many other forms of poverty can all be traced back to the same root of negligence or dealing with a slack hand.“He becometh poor that dealeth with a slack hand: but the hand of the diligent maketh rich” (Proverbs 10:4)
  • Daily obedience to God in different areas of your life will bring you to your calling

To every person that does not know his calling yet, I advise to be obedient to God on daily basis. If you will be obedient to God in your daily walk, then you will learn your calling; you will hear God and understand what He is calling you to.Daily obedience to God will bring a person to full realization of his or her calling. The big picture or the global project consists of multitude of small detail. As the saying goes, «Every trip starts with the first step».Repentance is the first step. After you repent of your sins, Jesus becomes your Lord. What does that mean? The Lordship of Jesus implies doing of what He tells you.
  • What true ministry is and how ministry changes people’s lives

We saw that usually Jesus first served people and helped them practically and then pointed them to the eternal things – to their Heavenly Father. We must remember that the goal of ministry is to help people reunite with God through our good words.True ministry will require of us to sacrifice something. But we do it for the Lord Jesus Christ and the Gospel
  • We´ve been created to glorify God!

If you had a polluted garment on even a brand new garment, what would you feel like? I am sure you would feel disgusted. This is exactly what those who try to please God through their good works without Christ feel. It doesn´t matter how many good works you do, God would never accept you unless you accept Jesus by faith. God´s peace enters your heart because you get to know Jesus and realise that in Him you are saved and accepted by God.
