If your enemy is hungry, feed him..

Hello people of God!Today God has laid on my heart to emphasize a principle from His word that I believe is very vital in the days in which we live. This principle is recorded in the book of Proverbs 16:7
“When a man’s ways please the LORD, he maketh even his enemies to be at peace with Him”.
This principle demands that we do our own part, so that God can do His own part. Our part is to please God in all our ways and manners. Your obedience has to be in place before God can deal with any disobedience from your enemy’s side. This is why the Bible teaches that God is
“…in readiness to avenge all disobedience, when your obedience shall be fulfilled” (2Cor. 10:6).
When you do your part, God is the one that will cause your enemies to be at peace with you. He is the one that will avenge all disobedience. For example we are commanded by the Lord to love our enemies, pray for those who persecute us and bless those who curse us (Mathew 5:43-45; Luke 6: 27-28).If you obey this commandment, your ways will be pleasing to the Lord. This is how you will God the permission to work on your behalf and cause your enemies to be at peace with you. God’s word for you today is this: If your enemy is hungry, feed him; if he is thirsty give him refreshing drinks; pray for him and do something good for him. You won’t have to wait long before God will surprise you. I encourage strongly to meditate on Roman 12: 17-20 today. As you do, may God bless you and cause your enemies to be at peace with you from this day on.See you tomorrow, Pastor Rufus Ajiboye

“The Lord appeared to Abraham near the great trees of Mamre while he was sitting at the entrance of his tent in the heat of the day. Abraham looked up and saw three men standing nearby. When he saw them, he hurried from the entrance of his tent to meet them and bowed low to the ground. He said, “If I have found favour in your eyes, my lord, do not pass your servant by. Let a little water be brought and then you may all wash your feet and rest under this tree. Let me get you something to eat, so you can be refreshed and then go on your way – now that you have come to your servant.” “Very well,” they answered, “do as you say.” “Where is your wife Sarah?” they asked him. “There in the tent,” he said. Then the Lord said, “I will surely return to you about this time next year, and Sarah your wife will have a son.” Now Sarah was listening at the entrance to the tent, which was behind him.”
  • Life is a test

Once we understand our life is a test, many questioned get solved by themselves and we can rejoice and enjoy our life. Those who understand that life is a test, they treat every difficult situation as an opportunity, not as an obstacle. The Bible often tells us how God tests His children. He is not doing it because He hates us nor because He wants to see our fall. Not at all! God puts us in test for few reasons. God blessed Abraham with a son first, then tested him asking to sacrifice his son on the altar. God allowed ordeals in Job’s life, then Job went through all that horror and bitterness.
  • God’s discipline

In order to determine whether we are being disciplined by God or we are dealing with the attack of the enemy, first we must ask ourselves some questions:§ What circumstances do I find myself in? (see Colossians, 3:17)o Am I where God wants to see me?
  • Your surrounding has an impact on you, it determines whether you enter the destiny God has prepared for you or you don´t III

There are many things that make people joyful and that´s great. However, Jesus pointed out that His disciples joy should rather be based on the goals and values of the Kingdom of God. Being glad about passing things is not the true joy, yet. The true joy comes when you can connect all the events of your life with fulfilling of the eternal purpose, one you are even ready to suffer for.
  • The evangelism and discipleship

“As Jesus was walking beside the Sea of Galilee, he saw two brothers; Simon called Peter and his brother Andrew. They were casting a net into the lake, for they were fishermen. “Come, follow me,” Jesus said, “and I will make you fishers of men.”(Mt.4:18-19)I would like you to pay attention to the word “SAW”, which has been mentioned here twice. Passing by, Jesus saw Matthew and two brothers – Peter and Andrew. Jesus had noticed them, somehow they attracted His attention, Jesus invited them to become a part of His team.
  • Relationships are the thing that helps us to see the real condition of our hearts and those areas we still need to work on

What happens when we build relationships with other people? These relationships uncover in us the faults we have not seen before. In every one of us there is a lot of dross that needs to be cleansed out so that we could conform to the image of Jesus Christ. Many people declare themselves to be perfect since they are a new creature and the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus. Dear friends, it is good to have faith. But it is not enough to believe these things in our hearts and to confess them with our mouths. If we neglect the instruments of transformation that God ordained to change us, then our actual lives will be far from our confessions.
