In what way does ministry influences us?

Grace and mercy from God be multiply unto you today in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ! Today I want to be talking about the influence of ministry or Christian service on our lives. Ministry exerts a beneficial influence on a life of the one who serves. Every believer or member of the body of Christ ought to be a disciple of Christ and all disciples are supposed to be a minister or servant of God. As I have said before, Christian service or ministry exerts a great influence on our lives. Serving God will transform your life and layout before you a foundation to great and magnificent future. This why I consistently call on the people God to be engaged in concrete service in the house of God and for the Kingdom sake. In what way does ministry influences us? Ministry conforms a person to Christ and transforms him from an egoist into a loving and giving person. One of ways we can improve our love walk is through our Christian service. Jesus said that when a person loves Him, the person will obey His commandments. (John 14:15) Through Christian ministry we are translated to the level of practical Christianity, instead of remaining on the level of a mere hearer, who never put to practice what he has been learning. This is what Jacob is talking about in the following Scriptures:James 1: 22-26If you have accepted The Lord Jesus Christ and have received Him as your Lord and Saviour, but still do not serve in any dimension and you consider that normal then you are deceiving yourself. Please, resolve this problem today, get rid of this self-deception, be engaged in Kingdom business and start to bear fruit to the Glory of God. There are so many possibilities today to serve God and people. Dear friends, nothing can hinder you from finding your place of service in the Kingdom of God if you truly desire to do that. May the Lord assist you to bring more fruits that will abide forever! See you tomorrow! They brought satisfaction to Solomon’s body, but he soul remained empty and hungry.

  • I desire mercy and not sacrifice

    «As Jesus passed on from there, He saw a man named Matthew sitting at the tax office. And He said to him, „Follow Me.” So he arose and followed Him. Now it happened as Jesus sat at the table in the house, that behold, many tax collectors and sinners came and sat down with Him and His disciples. And when the Pharisees saw it, they said to His disciples, „Why does your Teacher eat with tax collectors and sinners?” When Jesus heard that, He said to them, „Those who are well have no need of a physician, but those who are sick. But go and learn what this means: ‘I desire mercy and not sacrifice.’ For I did not come to call the righteous, but sinners, to repentance» (Mathew, 9:9-13).

  • Love is spiritual, not physical power

    When we walk in love it brings health and strength to our spirits. A strong spirit helps an individual to overcome all sicknesses. But if we give our hearts to hatred, bitterness, revenge, unforgiveness, it undermines our hearts. And when our spirits are weak, we are not able to withstand difficult situation and we fail in life. That is why it says, „who can bear a broken spirit?” Nobody! If you do not walk in love, you get ill, irritated and your hearts is filled with bitterness.

  • Jesus came into this world that he might destroy the works of the devil and he might reveal God´s works

    «He who sins is of the devil, for the devil has been sinning from the beginning. To this end the Son of God was revealed, that he might destroy the works of the devil.» (1st John 3:8).The devil inflicts pain, steals, murder and annihilate people, but God comes in Christ and manifests His power and mercy. In Christ God heals the sick, forgives sins, restores people lives, frees from curse and obsession by demons. A little later we will discuss the details about devil as a source of distress and sufferings people may have. Today I would like you to note that sins of other people also represent a source of pain and suffering.

  • We are created in Christ Jesus

    It means that in Christ we can discover our gifts and find use for them in compliance with God’s predestination. It also means that in Christ Jesus we are guaranteed satisfaction with life. «You have ascended on high, You have led captivity captive; You have received gifts among men, even from the rebellious, that the LORD God might dwell there»(Psalm, 68:18).
