Analyze your work and your days!

May the peace and grace from the Lord Jesus Christ be multiplied unto you today! Today I want to talk to you about the need to analyze your work and your days. I would like you to see God Himself doing it when He was creating heaven and earth; we can read about it in the first book of the Bible – Genesis.God analyzed and assessed His work before making the next step in His plan. It is a very important principle: periodically we need to stop and look at the things we are doing. It is important to analyze what we have: Is it what we expected? Is it what we wanted? Is it good enough, or do we need to work more to make improvements? In Genesis we see God doing it again and again.
«And God saw the light, that is was good; and God divided the light from the darkness. God called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. So the evening and the morning were the first day» (Genesis, 1: 4, 5).
«And God called the dry land Earth, and the gathering together of the waters He called Seas. And God say that it was good» (Genesis, 1: 10).
«And the earth brought forth grass, the herb that yields fruit, whose seed is in itself according to its kind. And God saw that is was good» (Genesis, 1:12).
«God set them in the firmament of the heavens to give light on the earth, and to rule over the day and over the night, and to divide the light from the darkness. And God saw that it was good» (Genesis, 1:17-18).
Quite frequently, God assessed what He had done. The Bible says: «And God saw that it was good». Other translations say: «And God saw that it was attractive, appropriate and He approved of it».  The creation matched God’s original design, so it was good. If we don’t learn to stop, like God did, to analyze what we are doing and where we are going, then we might end up in a totally different place, not at the intended destination, and we might get something we did not plan to get. It is so easy to get distracted, to get involved in all kinds of entertainment and futile things; that is why we need to stop once in a while to check and analyze what is happening in our lives, whether it is good or bad, whether it should be changed or not, and whether the direction of our lives is right and good. Let’s assume that in the beginning of the year you had a plan, a desire, or a particular dream and you enthusiastically began carrying this plan out. But six months have gone by and you must stop and ask yourself: «Am I where I wanted to be or not?» If we do that daily, like God did, we will be able to avoid wasting time and resources and avoid making fundamental mistakes. I believe this insight will help you. Stop today and think: “Where is my life going? What have I accomplished?” May God give you wisdom and speak to you so that you could assess your life and change things that need correction.Be blessed! Till tomorrow!Pastor Rufus Ajiboy

  • Calling forth convincing and irrefutable proof

Many people expect miracle in their life and sometimes the waiting continues many years. I want to help you today to see that we should not wait for a miracle to come, but we need to call forth and cause these miracles. Any miracle that a person desires to experience in his life can be brought about by this person. It is possible that the miracle won’t come right away, but when you build the necessary (natural) platform for it, it will absolutely come into your life. And when it happens you will have undeniable proof for your faith and trust in the Lord.
  • Be strong in faith and you will see that everything in your life will begin to change

I am so glad that you and I once again have the opportunity to look into the Word of God and draw from it power and wisdom to live this day successfully. We began talking about the life of Abram. Today let’s look at the principle of faith that appeard in his life. God showed Himself to Abram, because He had a vision for his life. We can read about it in Genesis (12:1-4).
  • Sin has its consequences

How much suffering there is in the world because of the irresponsibility of fathers and mothers! How many children suffer today because of some addiction of their parents who because of their own satisfaction abandon their families and their children! Sin is the main cause of sufferings, tragedies and illnesses on earth.
  • Value God’s Word!

Today God wants to tell us the same thing. The Word of God is life to us. When God sends us His Word, He offers us life. Rejecting the Word of God we reject life itself. Moses says about God’s Word: «For it is not a futile thing for you, because it is your life…»It is extremely important for us to appreciate the Word of God and not to treat it as something futile, – it is not like a song that we have listened to and then gone to do our own will. It should be to us like the greatest treasure. We have to value God’s Word, to hide it in our hearts, to appreciate it because it is life to us. God says that through the Word and through our right attitude towards it we can extend or prolong our days. Our attitude toward the Word determines whether we will extend our life or shorten it.
  • How NOT to give up, when problems and trials are all around IV

We continue our discussion about how not to give up at the time of troubles and temptation. Yesterday we spoke about the necessity to know that when we are walking through the problems in our life God keeps all our situations under control having already prepared a solution for us. Today I would like to continue this topic and show you that temptations or trials are a kind of test or exam. It can either put a shame on you and take the Spirit of glory away from you or you will rejoice and get excited of the honour to pass this test.
  • When we pray, invisible chains that bind people suddenly fall off!

If prayer becomes a priority in your life, your life will show signs of obvious favour from God and men. But every person must taste it for himself; it is not enough to hear about it. It is through prayer that we can experience the goodness of God. It strengthens our relationship with God. It helps us to have confidence in God despite the circumstances. I am sure that my God is good, because I have personally experienced it. I have tasted His goodness through prayer.
