Night of Worship 2026 (Latvia)
The 2026 Night of Worship is coming! We invite you to an evening of worship, prayer and fellowship with the «Spirit and Truth» church. Entry is free. Join us on 23–24 June in Lielvārde, Latvia – register now.
Each year our church «Spirit and Truth» (Gars un Patiesība) holds a night of prayer and worship in Latvia. We build an altar of praise and worship to God so that His blessing and favour may come upon our nation. God placed this project on the heart of pastor F. R. Adžiboije more than 23 years ago, and it began with several churches of the «Source of Life» association together with local churches and their pastors. We believe God wants to add even more churches and on-fire believers to proclaim His truth on this night and to stand against every idolatry happening in our land.
On this evening we will worship and exalt God together! We will call on His mercy for our land and our people!
Why do we gather?
Many years ago, during prayer, God spoke to pastor Rufus Adžiboije of the «Spirit and Truth» church about how important it is to build God an altar through praise, worship, prayer and intercession – so that the land would not be ruined by the injustice, idolatry and sorcery taking place during the festival known as Līgo.
John 8:32 says: «and you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.» God’s word says that every expression of idolatry, sorcery and paganism is detestable to God.
What happens during the evening?
The evening begins with corporate praise and worship, followed by the preaching of God’s word. Then pastors take turns leading a long, focused time of intercession – for spiritual revival in Latvia, unity among churches, families, youth, education and peace. It is an evening where together we build an altar to the Lord.
A look back: the 2025 evening
To give you a sense of what to expect, here is a short look back at the 2025 Night of Worship.
The message was «An Altar to the Lord» – about restoring the personal, family and national altar, and giving ourselves fully to God as a living sacrifice.
After the message, we prayed together for:
- The nation’s spiritual state and unity among churches
- Spiritual revival in Latvia, the Baltics and Europe
- A stand against sorcery and idolatry
- The media and truth
- Strong, godly families
- Youth and children
- Education
- Peace in zones of war
- Latvia – «go and recover»
