Sacrifice as a measure of love! V

Greetings to you, dear friends! You are welcome to our column of our „Daily Word for Spiritual Strength”!

Our God is good, and He has given us the message of His love – the Word of God.

I also thank God for the fact that we can draw strength and wisdom from this message today.

We have been talking about the fact that true love will always be connected with self-sacrifice.

You cannot say you love until you sacrifice or do something for the object of your love.

You cannot say you love and at the same time neglect spending time with the one whom you love. It is simply not possible! Time is our life. By spending time with the one whom you love, you are giving or sharing with them part of your life.

In order to earn money, you need time; in order to spend money, you need time. If you have money but do not have time to spend it, this money will not bring you any blessings. If you lose the money, you can earn it back tomorrow. But if you lose time, you are not getting it back!

Therefore, if you love God, you will find time for Him, and you will give Him the most precious thing you have – your time!

David said,

“I will extol the LORD at all times; his praise will always be on my lips.” (Psalms 34:1)

Many people do not have time to come to the service; during the weekdays, they do not have time to think about God or meditate on His Word, they do not have time to open their Bible or pray. Many people are too busy to sacrifice their time for God!

I want to throw a challenge to you today: prove to God that you love Him. Your proof cannot be just in words such as, “Lord, I love You, I am a Christian, I am a member of a church, etc.” Let the proof of your love for God be displayed through your sacrifice and the effective use of your talents to minister to other people and help them glorify God in their lives.

May God bless you!

Until tomorrow!

Pastor Rufus Ajiboye

We saw that when you have a strong team every house will be built and every project will be completed. That kind of team will always achieve victory. In the Bible we see that Jesus also talked about the importance of unity.
