What are the benefits of fearing walking in the fear of God? II

I greet you all in the precious name of our Lord Jesus Christ! I thank God for yet another day to soak our life with the word of God. We have been talking for some time now about the fear of God. Yesterday we saw some of the benefits of walking in the fear of God. Today I want to share more scriptures on the benefits of walking in the fear of God. This is to allow you to see that walking in the fear of God affects every area of our lives. Without the fear of God in a person’s life, he is headed for a defeated and wretched life. Here are some other benefits of fearing God:
  • God arranges for you to own property:
“But the midwives feared God, and did not as the king of Egypt commanded them, but saved the men children alive. And it came to pass, because the midwives feared God, that he made them houses” (Exodus 1:17,21)
  • Walking in the fear of God leads to your promotion in career
”That I gave my brother Hanani, and Hananiah the ruler of the palace, charge over Jerusalem: for he was a faithful man, and feared God above many” Nehemiah 7:2
  • Walking in the fear of God releases the goodness of God over your life in a city and protects you!
“Oh how great is thy goodness, which thou hast laid up for them that fear thee, which thou hast wrought for them that trust in thee before the sons of men! Thou shalt hide them in the secret of thy presence from the pride of man; thou shalt keep them secretly in a pavilion from the strife of tongues. Blessed be the LORD: for he hath showed me his marvelous kindness in a strong city” Psalm 31:19-21
  • Walking in the fear of God guarantees your provision in famine
There is no king saved by the multitude of a host: a mighty man is not delivered by much strength. A horse is a vain thing for safety: neither shall he deliver any by his great strength. Behold, the eye of the LORD is upon them that fear him, upon them that hope in his mercy, to deliver their soul from death, and to keep them alive in famine” (Psalm 33: 16-19) “O fear the LORD, ye his saints: for there is no want to them that fear him” Psalm 34:9
  • Walking in the fear of God guarantees answers to your prayers
“He will fulfill the desire of them that fear him: He also will hear their cry, and will save them. Psalm 145:19 May the benefits of walking in the fear of God become more real to you from this day onward in Jesus Name!Till tomorrow, Pastor Rufus Ajiboye

  • What good does reading of the Bible does to a person?

«All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness…» (2 Timothy, 3:16).It is written that God’s Word is profitable for reproof. What is reproof? Reproof is when you are showed when you are being wrong. Quite often you and I are wrong; we need to be corrected by the Word of God.But the Bible not only corrects us; it also teaches us. The Bible disciplines and edifies us. The Bible helps us to realize how we can our lives and where to start.
  • We have to be ready to go wherever God sends us to

As we concluded yesterday, we have to become obedient disciples, so that our families, our church and our towns can be stirred. God uses obedient disciples to fulfil His prophesies and restore His will on Earth. Even more, we have to be ready to go wherever God sends us to. Thus we can fulfil our calling. Obedience to call begins with obedience to short instructions God gives to us through His word and our leaders in Christ. It´s also important to know that Jesus knows everything, He possesses all hidden information, necessary for our mission. That´s why obedience to the Lord who knows everything is vitally important! When Jesus had a need for a donkey to ride upon to Jerusalem, He knew where to find the animal. He knew where to go and find that donkey. He knew how to bring that donkey to Him.
  • Value God’s Word! III

For several days now we have been talking about the role of God’s Word in our lives. We talked about the Word of God being our life and about the fact that our right attitude towards it can prolong our days. Also we learned that our attitude towards God’s Words determines how strong the foundation of our lives will be and how able we are to withstand the troubles of this life. Today I would like to look at another facet that demonstrates the significance of God’s Word for us.
  • The true knowledge of God only come through the One Who is ‘ in the bosom of the Father’ – from Jesus

The word “Father’s bosom” means very close to the Father’s heart, to be by the Father’s side or on the Father’s breast. That word was used in John to describe John leaning on Jesus: «Now there was leaning on Jesus’ bosom one of His disciples, whom Jesus loved» (John, 13:23).So Jesus was close to Father’s heart, and that is why He was able to manifest God to us. The true knowledge of God only come through the One Who is ‘ in the bosom of the Father’ – from Jesus.
  • The law of harvest and multiplication

As a base we will use a passage from Mark chapter 4, where Jesus Himself was speaking in parables. In this chapter there are three parables, through which Jesus explains the power and the potential hidden in a small seed. First I would like to simply recount these parables, but later we will look at each of them in more detail. The first parable that Jesus talked about is the parable of the sower. This parable shows that there is a whole list of obstacles that make it difficult for seeds to grow and bear fruit. In this parable, Jesus went ahead to show us three types of obstacles which can impede the growth of the seeds that we sow. (Mark 4:3-20)
  • The best and most influential sermon we can ever preach is the message of our lives

My life preaches even when I don’t know about it. This is why it is so important to be changed so that our lives reflect what we say and comply with it. Our lives must be our loudest sermon and not our words. It is the will of God for us.God changes us not only through trials and hardships, but also through His grace and mercy.
