Wisdom of a man and wisdom of God

Welcome, my friends, to our column “Daily word for spiritual strength”! I believe you get refreshed and inspired while reading these daily columns. As we concluded yesterday, God is the only one who knows the true meaning of human life. We are created by God, that´s why only God as Creator knows the true goal and the purpose of our life and He is willing to reveal them to His children. This is exactly why God invites us to call to Him and expect revelation about the goal and meaning of our life.
«Call to me, and I will answer you, and will show you great things, and difficult, which you don’t know». (Jeremiah 33:3).
There are many things in your life God calls «difficult, which you don’t know».Only God knows what you need at every moment of your life. Nobody else but Him knows everything about your life, because it´s not revealed to anybody else. God knows everything, since He is our creator which possesses our past, present and future.Hidden, “which you don´t know” – are the secrets and mysteries you are missing to know in order to break thorough and gain victory in your life. Those are things currently hidden but necessary for you to have success in all spheres of your life. God knows all those things and He is ready to reveal them to you if you call to Him and seek Him with all your heart. Look, what the word of God says about it:
«But we speak God’s wisdom in a mystery, the wisdom that has been hidden, which God foreordained before the worlds for our glory, which none of the rulers of this world has known. For had they known it, they wouldn’t have crucified the Lord of glory. But as it is written, “Things which an eye didn’t see, and an ear didn’t hear, Which didn’t enter into the heart of man, These God has prepared for those who love him.” But to us, God revealed them through the Spirit. For the Spirit searches all things, yes, the deep things of God. For who among men knows the things of a man, except the spirit of the man, which is in him?Even so, no one knows the things of God, except God’s Spirit. But we received, not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit which is from God, that we might know the things that were freely given to us by God. Which things also we speak, not in words which man’s wisdom teaches, but which the Holy Spirit teaches, comparing spiritual things with spiritual things. Now the natural man doesn’t receive the things of God’s Spirit, for they are foolishness to him, and he can’t know them, because they are spiritually discerned.» (1 Corinthians 2:7-14).
As we see in the verses above, wisdom can be different. There are a wisdom of this world and God´s wisdom. God´s wisdom differs from the wisdom of this world the way that it´s hidden until the God Himself reveals it to the people. As for the wisdom of this world, that´s a human wisdom gained using five methods of perception, or sense: hearing, sight, touch, smell, and taste, which are the natural channels used to gain a knowledge.Differently from God´s wisdom that exists for our glory, the wisdom of a man once passes away. The Bible says, that «the foolishness of God is wiser than men, and the weakness of God is stronger than men», even more His wisdom is. God´s wisdom is much higher than the wisdom of a man. It´s exciting that God is ready to share His wisdom with us if we are thirsty for that. God through the Holy Spirit wants to reveal the mysteries of our life if we seek Him and His presence. As we can see from the Scripture no one knows things of God, except God´s Spirit whom God has given to those who obey Him, who ask Him, who accepts Him and love Him. (Acts 5:32; Luke 11:13). God gives the Holy Spirit to anyone who asks, so that such person can reveal everything God has granted him, receive his heritage in God and enjoy it.
«… Even so, no one knows the things of God, except God’s Spirit. But we received, not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit which is from God, that we might know the things that were freely given to us by God.» (1 Corinthians 2:11-12).

  • The blessedness or beauty of serving others! II

Isaiah saw three important things that totally changed his life. Isaiah saw God. He saw God’s greatness and holiness. When you draw near to God, God reveals Himself to you more and more. When we see God we also see ourselves, because we are created in His image and according to His likeness. In His light we see light.Isaiah saw himself. God desires for us to see ourselves clearly. For this very reason He allows different things to happen to us so that our eyes would be open about what we are like inside.
  • Jesus as the example of a true minister

We see that Jesus experienced serious difficulties in the days of His earthly life, but He did not focus on them. Jesus was busy serving the Father and those He was sent to serve. While Jesus served people, the Father made sure people ministered to Jesus; God met Jesus’ needs through His ministry. When we serve others, God motivates others to serve us. We always reap what we have sown. We do not serve people because we do not have any problems, – we serve people because it pleases God. And when we serve, despite the fact that we have problems, needs and concerns, God makes sure some people that we do not even know serve us by meeting our needs
  • The lordship of Jesus Christ II

«The LORD said to my Lord, “Sit at My right hand, till I make Your enemies Your footstool.” The LORD shall send the rod of Your strength out of Zion. Rule in the midst of Your enemies» (Psalm 110:1-2).This passage talks about Christ: «Rule in the midst of Your enemies», but the Body of Christ — His Church — is included in this prophetic word. Jesus was told to sit at the right hand of God; but it would be God’s children that would overcome God’s enemies and every thing that rise against the will of God. God wants us to rule and reign in the midst of the enemies and unfavourable circumstances. We must rule because we have been given God’s authority and we were born conquerors.
  • Everything that is hidden will unavoidably be brought into the light

«For God will bring every work into judgment, including every secret thing, whether good or evil» (Ecclesiastes, 12:14). Solomon said the same thing Jesus said: God will bring into judgment our every work and especially all the hidden works: sins, wrongdoings that we have tried to keep in secret. God will openly bring our every deed into the light of His judgment. It means that all our sins will follow us wherever we go. The only way we can avoid the consequences of our sins and wrongdoings – is to repent before God brings them into the judgment. Repentance opens to us the door of mercy and grace from the Lord. It brings into our life new opportunities from the Lord. For this reason the only right lifestyle and the only correct decision is to repent of our wrongdoings so that God won’t have to judge us.
