Your gift will make room for you!

Grace and peace to you from our Lord Jesus Christ! Welcome to „Daily Word for Spiritual Edification”!Today I would like to start talking about the topic I have titled as: “Your gift will make room for you”. The Word of God says:
«A man’s gift makes room for him, and brings him before great men» (Proverbs, 18: 16).
Your gift will make room for you and will broaden your boarders, if you won’t hide it. So many times believers ask: «Where is my place in the Body of Christ? What is my calling?»Do what you know. This simple principle gives an answer to many questions. Find the thing that you know how to do; find what you can do to promote the Kingdom of God, to help the church to grow and to extend your influence in the society.Find needs around you and start meeting them. Find the needs that people don’t even see yet and start meeting them for the glory of the Lord. That is what Solomon talks about in the Book of Ecclesiastes:
«Whatever your hand finds to do, do it with your might; for there is no work or device or knowledge or wisdom in the grave where you are going» (Ecclesiastes, 9: 10).
Whatever your hand can do, do it right now and do it with your might. Besides, whatever you do, be enthusiastic and do it with all of your might. If you are called to the ministry – and, yes, you are called to it! – you need to know that your gift will make a place for you. In order to discover your place in the Body of Christ, you need to use what you have right now (that is, your talents, abilities, knowledge, wisdom, experience etc.) to help and serve people. Then the Lord will exalt you.Ecclesiastes says that there is no work or labour, nor contemplation, nor knowledge, nor wisdom in the grave where all of us will go sooner or later.
«Whatever your hand finds to do, do it with your might; for there is no work or device or knowledge or wisdom in the grave where you are going» (Ecclesiastes, 9: 10).
It is right now that you should use your ability to work, think, use your knowledge, wisdom and experience to serve God and people. So act now! Work now! Start where you are! Start using what you have and doing what you know to do!Many Christians today waste their precious time in searching for their place in the ministry, instead of starting to do what they can right now. «I am waiting to learn the will of God!» – some people say. When they hear the call to come and serve they give this excuse: «I don’t know my place of the ministry». All great men of God who have developed large ministry started with something small that they were able to do at the time.Do not waste your time, because time is a precious gift of God that was measured out for your calling. Your knowledge, experience and abilities are gifts of God. Sow them today, and you will reap a bigger ministry. All great things start small!Tomorrow we will continue about this topic. Be blessed! • The philosophy of change

It is quite often that we oppose changes; we resist any changes because we are creatures of habit. If something is new and unusual for us, we don’t like it. Is that the truth? Whatever is unusual to us scares us. We love the comforts of life and if something upsets our comfortable position, we start to fight it with all of our strength.Nevertheless God calls every person to go through changes.
  • Preparation is a key to effective life II

Your tomorrow is the outcome of your today´s efforts and time you spend. Your today impacts your tomorrow, therefore, you better prepare yourself for tomorrow, use your time to develop yourself, building up your character and skills. If you disobey God today, you will not be able to enter your promised land tomorrow, due to the cruelty of your heart. If you take care for today, God will take care for your tomorrow then.
  • The lordship of Jesus Christ V

«All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations…» (Mathew, 28:18-19).Jesus told us to walk through this life, being armed with the understanding that all God’s authority is behind us. The will of God for us contains prosperity, health, salvation (both for us personally and for our families), peace and harmony; the will of God is for all people to come to salvation and knowledge of truth. But too often we see discrepancies in many areas of our life. Those areas where the will of God is not fulfilled are actually ruled by the devil; somehow we have given him a place and control over these areas.

«The law of the LORD is perfect, converting the soul; the testimony of the LORD is sure, making wise the simple; the statutes of the LORD are right, rejoicing the heart; the commandment of the LORD is pure, enlightening the eyes» (Psalm, 19:7-8).Besides the understanding of God’s provision in Christ, every person also needs knowledge of the strategies and plans of the devil. If we do not have this knowledge, then the devil can be successful in hurting us. «..lest Satan should take advantage of us; for we are not ignorant of his devices» (2 Corinthians, 2: 11).
  • I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me!

According to the word of God we are already granted everything we need in order to succeed in this life. God has already given us all that we need to have life abundantly. There is no such need in our life God has not taken care for yet. We only have to get to know God and His precious promises, so that we can prevail the lust of this world and fulfil our call from God.«Seeing that his divine power has granted to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of him who called us by his own glory and virtue; by which he has granted to us his precious and exceedingly great promises; that through these you may become partakers of the divine nature, having escaped from the corruption that is in the world by lust.». (2 Peter 1:3-4).
  • The chief hindrances that block God’s power from working for us

Jesus sometimes connects sickness with sins. This is not always the true for every sickness or situation (John 9:1-3), but very often our problems are connected to some unconfessed sins in our lives.“And he entered into a ship, and passed over, and came into his own city. 2 And, behold, they brought to him a man sick of the palsy, lying on a bed: and Jesus seeing their faith said unto the sick of the palsy; Son, be of good cheer; thy sins be forgiven thee” (Matthew 9:1-8).
