How to set grace free in our lives?

Peace to you, dear friends! We continue speaking about the power of God’s favour.Until now, we have been speaking about what favour is and how it benefits us. We also saw that favour is the heritage of every believer in Christ. We also talked about what is the basis or foundation of favour.Today, I want us to talk about how to set grace free in our lives. Favour in a person’s life is never a coincidence; it is the results of understanding God’s ways. There are certain godly secrets that we all must comprehend and apply in order to be able to set free the power of God’s favour in our lives.
“Good understanding gains favour, but the way of the unfaithful is hard” (Proverbs 13:15).
In other words, understanding of the laws of life brings favour in a person’s life. Acquiring understanding and comprehension, you simultaneously open the door for supernatural favour in your life. Whereas lack of understanding makes one’s life hard and difficult. The lack of understanding or comprehension is what we call spiritual ignorance. Such ignorance is one of the main reasons why the life of many Christians is very hard and unstable. When you comprehend the laws that guide the operation of favour and begin to regulate your life according to these laws, then the favour of God will be set free in your life. As a result of this favour, your life will be distinguished from the lives of other people. For example, there is a law called the law of sowing and reaping among Christians. This law is first mentioned in Genesis 8:22:
„As long as the earth endures, seedtime and harvest, cold and heat, summer and winter, day and night will never cease.”
In the kingdom of God, all things are subject to this law, including the power of God’s favour. Harvest of any sort can only follow the seedtime. Any fruit begins only with a seed. Releasing the power of favour in our lives clearly depends on how well we understand and apply this important law of the kingdom of God. We will talk about this in more detail tomorrow. May the Lord give you comprehension in everything so that spiritual darkness and ignorance will be dispelled from your life! Until tomorrow!Pastor Rufus Ajiboy

  • Sin is the root of the evil

«He who sins is of the devil, for the devil has sinned from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that He might destroy the works of the devil» (1 John, 3:8).The devil deceived Adam and Eve who were reflecting the glory of God in the earth, because he hated God and all the things that brought glory to God. Adam and Eve were given a free will and a right to choose and they decided to disobey God and submit to the voice of the devil. That is how sin entered their life and the life of all of the generations after them. They gave themselves and their posterity into the hands of death. And since that time death has begun its reign over people.
  • Don’t serve those things over which you, suppose to dominate according to the will of God

“ And he said unto them, The sabbath was made for man, and not man for the sabbath: 28 Therefore the Son of man is Lord also of the Sabbath”In this short statement of Jesus Christ there a very important lesson is hidden for us. God is saying here that the sabbath was made for manand not man for the sabbath. In life it is often possible to observe such a picture where by those things over which man is meant to dominate, are dominating over him instead. This distortion of the order established by God often result in many tragic problems in people’s life today.
  • The steps God takes in disciplining us II

If we listen to the conviction of the Holy Spirit that is communicated through the people God sends to us to correct us and repent of our sins, then He stops all the judgments. But, if we continue in our stubbornness and resist Him, God allows more trouble in our lives in order to show us that there are spiritual problems in us that we need to resolve. If after that we still resist Him and refuse to humble ourselves before Him, then He increases penalties. God does that because He loves us and does not want any of His children to perish.

Lust is excessive appetite for something. For example, uncontrollable sexual desire leads to rape, fornication, adultery and different types of sexual perversion. It can also lead to sexual illnesses, sometimes incurable. Moreover, feelings of guilt, depression, suicidal tendencies, breaking up of marriages, sufferings of children, violence, hatred and other similar things are often the result of sexual lust. Lust can also be experienced in the area of finances, drinking or eating. It all has brought pain and suffering to many people in the form of some addiction: alcoholism, drug addiction, gambling, stealing, treachery, murder etc.
  • The Word of God works in us according to the level of our understanding

In the parable of the sower, it is said that they who brought forth the fruit were the ones who heard the word and understood it. Some brought fruit thirty-, sixty- and hundredfold, according to their understanding.«But he that received seed into the good ground is he that heareth the word, and understandeth it; which also beareth fruit, and bringeth forth, some an hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty..» (Мatth. 13: 23).
