Being a Christian is a responsibility

Dear brothers and sisters! Today, I want to challenge each of you to become more responsible. Not only the world or the church need responsible people, but also God. Being a Christian is a responsibility. God lifts up and raises exactly those who agree to become responsible. Jesus speaks on this in the next passage: 
«For unto every one that hath shall be given, and he shall have abundance: but from him that hath not shall be taken away even that which he hath. And cast ye the unprofitable servant into outer darkness: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.»(Мatth.25:29-30)
Irresponsible people lose their positions and everything that they own; whereas responsible people multiply their influence and grace. If you want to experience rise from God this year, then make a decision to become responsible in all the spheres of your life. By the way, the church membership is a responsibility too. Every member of a church has a duty to get acquainted with aims and tasks of the church, let it through their hearts, let it overwhelm you and bind the aim of your life with these Godly aims in order to honour God with your life every day. God has promised to honour those who honour Him. 
«Wherefore the LORD God of Israel saith, I said indeed that thy house, and the house of thy father, should walk before me for ever: but now the LORD saith, Be it far from me; for them that honour me I will honour, and they that despise me shall be lightly esteemed..» (1 Sam 2:30)
 
«If any man serve me, let him follow me; and where I am, there shall also my servant be: if any man serve me, him will my Father honour.» (John 12:26)
 Behold, therefore I can surely assert that everyone who takes upon themselves responsibility and honour God with their lives, are already walking the road to be raised by God. I wish you accomplishments and success on this road. Until the time we meet again! Pastor Rufus Ajiboye

    What does the word “all” include? Everything that is happening in your life right now! God wants to reach a certain goal; and in order to do that He uses even our circumstances.     There is another voice that we hear – it is the voice of other people and the voice of human standpoint. For example, the voice of experts goes in this category – a doctor who proclaims what the medical equipment indicates. A doctor may tell the patient that he will die in three days, because the medical equipment, the analyses and his own medical experience show that. Praise the Lord for our doctors, but we must know that the last word always belongs to God. God often says the totally opposite to what experts say. In such cases, it is necessary that we, while being respectful towards different specialists, put aside the expert conclusions and trust God, not people. The more you trust the expert conclusions and not the Word of God, the less God can give you life.

  • Precondition for effective prayer is prayer in practice

    Prayer must be practiced daily. We will not be able to become masters and professionals in what we do not practice every day. If we do not practice prayer, we will not know how to pray properly. Again I would like to emphasize one truth we spoke of last time. In the life for each of us, once the time comes when most of all we need prayer. But if we do not practice prayer daily, we will not be able to ask and receive the necessary assistance from God at that particular time. May this not happen with us.Prayer changes us and the things that are around us, it changes our world. Everyone can find that a prayer is power, it is a privilege for a believer from God Himself.
