Rejoice in the Lord!

Dear friends!
This is the day the Lord has made! Let’s be glad and rejoice on this day!
Today I want to say to you how important it is to minister to the Lord in gladness and how important it is to have joy.

The Bible says that

 «God loves a cheerful giver» (2 Corinthians, 9:7).

So it says that God not only loves givers, but He delights in cheerful giving. It is so essential for us not only to serve God, but also to do it with joy.

It is stated in the Word of God that brokenness and depression dry out our bones or cause illnesses.

«A merry heart does good, like medicine, but a broken spirit dries the bones» (Proverbs, 17:22).

Sorrowfulness destroys humans. For this reason God desires our life and our ministry to be dominated by joy.

«Serve the Lord with gladness; come before His presence with singing!» (Psalm 100:2).

God wants our ministry to Him to be full of joy because He knows that without joy we lose both our health and anointing. We can see this in the life of Prophet Samuel. The Bible says that after Saul rejected the Lord, Samuel was mourning for Saul for a very long time. When God saw this, He intervened.

«Now the Lord said to Samuel, „How long will you mourn for Saul, seeing I have rejected him from reigning over Israel? Fill your horn with oil, and go; I am sending you to Jesse the Bethlehemite. For I have provided Myself a king among his sons» (1 Samuel, 16:1).

We see that Samuel’s horn grew empty of oil because for a very long time he was mourning for Saul. And God told him to stop mourning. God said that the time had come to change the mood; the time had come to fill the horn with oil and to go and anoint David to be King Saul’s substitute.

When sadness and mourning come, the anointing diminishes or disappears. But when joy comes, the anointing comes as well.

May your horn never be empty but be full of the oil of God’s blessings, fresh oil from the Lord. But there is one condition: your oil will not diminish and will not leave when you have joy. Joy in the Lord is our power and strength. So this is the word of God for you today: rejoice in the Lord!

May God bless you!
Peace of God be with you!

«My son, give attention to my words; incline your ear to my sayings. Do not let them depart from your eyes; keep them in the midst of your heart; for they are life to those who find them, and health to all their flesh. Keep your heart with all diligence, for out of it spring the issues of life» (Proverbs, 4:20-23). Based on this Scripture, we can argue that the course of your life, my destiny or yours should not depend on somebody else but on ourselves. You must take charge of your life and destiny!

  • Seek first to do that which is the will of God in all your decisions

If you fear God, the first thing you consider in any decision you make is: “What is God’s will in this matter? What does God say about this issue?” The first question you ask in hard times should never be “How hard is it going to get doing what I am doing” BUT RATHER what is God’s will in this matter?

  • How do we acquire such “great faith”?

Let’s try to find the answer to that question today. The Bible declares that faith comes from hearing God’s Word (Rom.10:17). So if you want your faith to grow, my advice to you is this– continue to listen to Gods word and fill your heart and mind with it.At the same time be ready for your faith to be tested. You cannot find out if your faith is growing without examination. Problems and trials are tests of your faith.

  • Are you growing in your walk with God?

It is God desires for every one of His children to continue to grow in their relationship with Him. The reason is obvious from the Bible: until we grow up, we won’t be able to enjoy the privileges God has provided for us as His sons and daughters.“Now I say, That the heir, as long as he is a child, differeth nothing from a servant, though he be lord of all; 2 But is under tutors and governors until the time appointed of the father. 3 Even so we, when we were children, were in bondage under the elements of the world: {elements: or, rudiments}” (Galatians 4: 1-3).
