We multiply our talents by using them and putting them to practise

Peace and grace to you from our Lord Jesus Christ! Today – through the mercy and love of God – we have been given one more day, let us use this day to the maximum giving glory to God in all that we do.We have been talking about our gifts and talents and the fact that it is very important what we do with them.A man once told me that he was fed up with listening to his pastor calling the people to serve in the church. This person asked me, «What should I do? » I told him that if he had come to our church he would have heard the same invitation.Serving Goв is something that is necessary for us, not God. When we serve God it tranforms our character, makes us stronger and draws us closer to Him.Find for yourself a place in the Kingdom and then do some quality work. It is not important how old you are – young or old. Serve Him and build His Kingdom! Every single day you should apply the gifts of God for His glory. Seek out the ways to promote His Kingdom through all your gifts. Also, you should continuously study, develop your capabilities and grow.We have already established that gifts are given to everyone.
«And to one he gave five talents, to another two, and to another one, to each according to his own ability» (Mathew, 25:15).
We do not need to compare our talents with the talents of other people. We are given ability that matches our talents, not talents of another person. Not having a particular talent, I am not able to do what other person does that has the talent. Having a talent or not having it does not make one person better than another. Every one of us is the best for God. Even the person from the parable that received only one talent is the best for God. God did not give him one talent because considered him to be a bad person. No, God gave him one talent, because his abilities were on the level of one talent. God did not want give him more than he could bear or manage. God does not want to destroy us; He wants to stretch us. God gave you the talents to multiply them. How can we multiply our gifts and talents? What should we do for it to happen? Do you really know your talents? We multiply our talents by using them and putting them to practise. We have to apply our gifts. We must find for ourselves a place in church, in God’s Kingdom. Your barrenness is nobody’s fault, but yours. Learn to apply your talents and do it well. Whatever you do, do it well to be called a good and faithful servant. The word „faithful” contains deep meaning. You can depend on a faithful servant; he is reliable; he never lets down.May God help all of us to become good and faithful servants of the Lord in His Kingdom.Pastor Rufus Ajiboye

  • What is calling? How to reveal personal calling and how to enter it?

Recognising of your calling and your task in this life is a process that consists of many small details. Quite often, people try to reveal their calling, while neglecting those small details that make the whole process. Nowadays, many people are unhappy because they either lack revelation for their life or oppose to such revelation, or simply lack understanding of how to fulfil the revelation. Let´s figure it all out.First thing to know is the fact that you were born to carry out a certain task. Bible says our life on this Earth has a goal and value determined. You are not a result of an accident! You were born on this Earth not just for the matter of occupying some space and breathing. You´ve got a mission to fulfil, a way to measure. You are created to take care for others and saved to minister. There many places in the Bible talking about this. We are going to elaborate the verse from Paul´s letter to Ephesians 2:10
  • God’s Word is a sword

You and I are in the middle of spiritual battle and we need the weapon that would help us fight and overcome the enemy. God’s Word is His weapon, His sword. If the Word is in us, we will always be able to easily overcome temptation, sin and enemy. If God’s Word abides in us, we will be able to say as Jesus said: «It is written! It is written! It is written!» But if you are not ‘in shape’ and do not know what is written in the Word, you won’t have the necessary courage to proclaim God’s Word over your life and situation.
  • In our lives we must reflect the life, the power and the nature of Christ III

Our ministry is to be the salt and light to our society. God has granted us this ministry, but not because we are better than others. God gave us this ministry because of His mercy. Now as the recipients of God’s mercy we do not have any right to condemn those that do not know God and live under the power of the prince of darkness. God is sending us – His children — into the world to spread the light and reconciliation. While doing this ministry, we should not lose heart; we should not allow anything to stop us. We must be courageous and go forward enduring sorrows as good soldiers of Jesus Christ.
  • I can do everything in Christ Jesus who strengthens me!

When we cast all our worries on the Lord, a sincere joy appears fills our hearts and the soul begins to sing a new song. When somebody fully relies on God, he stops chanting the old songs like: “Oh, I am weak! Oh no, I can´t accomplish it! Oh, I am definitely gonna fail! Oh, I am so poor!”When a person casts his worries on the Lord who cares for us, his mouth will sing a new song: “Let the weak say I am strong! I can do everything in Christ Jesus who strengthens me! My God meets all my needs! God is my shepherd, I lack nothing! I destroy my enemies with God! I am healed by the wounds of Jesus.”
