God has appointed every one of us for the ministry, so that all of us would grow into Him!

Greetings to you, dear readers of „Daily Word for Spiritual Edification”!For several days now we have been discussing – in my opinion – a very important topic „What are you doing with your talent?”If you have not learnt yet what your talents are, then you need to shut yourself in a room, pray to God and ask Him, „What can I do for the Kingdom of God, even if it is something small? I do not just want to be an idle watcher or a visitor who is on the receiving end only and not giving something back. I want to do something for God so that His Kingdom would grow”. God will answer you and show you your talents and the things you can do in His Kingdom.God relies on our service in order to build His Kingdom. The Church and Kingdom function as a body. A body has many members. A body has arms, legs, veins, a heart and a liver, also hair and nails etc. Every body has visible and invisible organs, and all of them are equally important. Imagine the House of God being a body. This Body grows as every member does his or her part.
«..but, speaking the truth in love, may grow up in all things into Him who is the head – Christ – from whom the whole body, joined and knit together by what every joint supplies, according to the effective working by which every part does its share, causes growth of the body for the edifying of itself in love» (Ephesians, 4:15-16).
This passage of Scripture tells us what is the desire of God. He has appointed every one of us for the ministry, so that all of us would grow into Him Who is the Head – Christ; so that we all would be joined to Him and focused on Him, His Kingdom and the work of His Kingdom. Jesus must be the centre of everything. Every member does its share and then the Body grows in the love of God and every one enjoys and benefits from it. We will all enjoy the Church, if every one of us does his or her part to the best of our abilities. I need to do only what I am able to do and not worry about what I do not have and what I cannot do, – otherwise i will be crush under such burden. I must only concentrate my attention on how to multiply my talents. It is high time to locate your ministry and do your part in the Body of Christ! This is very important both for God and for you!May God abundantly bless you on this day!Pastor Rufus Ajiboye

God does this work through the Holy Spirit. We can collaborate with God in this process by our full obedience to Him.God wants to change you. If you are shy today, God wants to see you bold. If you are doubtful today, God wants to see you full of faith. Even if you are shy and pretend being as such because you inherited this quality from your ancestors and relatives – let me tell you, God desires to change it in you. He will accomplish this task if you allow it to Him.
  • What we do with our potential?

A talent is almost the same as potential. The parable of talents could just as well be called the parable of potential. Potential is something unfinished that can be developed and completed. In the beginning potential can be invisible, but it nevertheless exists. In order to transform potential into reality, it must be developed. Based on the potential given to you, you can change your present condition. There is a beginning of change in you and everything you need to change your life. You have to develop your potential and bring it to completion.
  • Ministry changes a selfish person into a loving, compassionate servant of the Lord

It is not a secret that we are all born selfish. Someone might argue and say that does not apply to him or that he is not selfish. If you say that then you are lying! We are all selfish, except the transforming grace of God!What does it mean to be selfish?· A selfish person is one who lives only for himself. He only cares about his world and does not notice what is happening to others around him. A selfish person is only concerned about his life and his comforts.
  • Prayer is petitioning God and receiving from Him

«Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened» (Mathew, 7:7-8).This passage of Scripture reveals three levels of praying. I really want you to see it. There are quite many places in the Bible where God has made known to us His desires and His will and promises. We can ask in prayer when the will of God has been revealed and made known.
  • Life is a Purpose

God has created each of you for a certain purpose. God has a common purpose and a personal (individual) purpose for each of us. Our common goal is to glorify the Lord. However, God also has a peculiar purpose He has created every individual to fulfill. I was sent to the Earth to solve certain problems. If you are driven by such awareness you will live a strategical life. Each of you has a certain goal and a purpose set by God.
