God wants you to use everything He has given you for His Kingdom

Greetings to you, dear readers of our „Daily Word for Spiritual Edification”!I believe that the parable of Jesus about talents that we have been discussing for a long time will change our lives and our attitude towards God and the talents He has given us; it will change our ministry. What am I doing with my talents? Every person must ask himself this question, because our entire life depends on it. Greatness is not ascribed to the one who has everything and lives for himself, but to the one who is able to enrich and bless others even though he has little.
«..as sorrowful, yet as always rejoicing; as poor, yet making many rich…» (2 Corinthians, 6:10).
It is impossible to be a blessing to others, not giving yourself to them.I would like us today to look at the Jesus’ parable about talents as it is recorded in the Gospel of Luke.
«So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, ‘Do business till I come.’» (Luke, 19:13).
This verse clearly states that the master told his servants to do business with the things they were given. The master expected them to get some profit from his ‘investment’.Today people do business with money in order not to lose the value of their money . The one who does it wisely receives dividends from his investments. The talents, gifts, abilities that are given to us by God, as well as our education, experience and other things we have today are to be used so that the glory of God would be multiplied. God desires us to invest ourselves and the things we have into people, into His Kingdom and His Church.Unfortunately, too many people today are so focused on themselves and their own problems and interests; because of it they do not have time for the development of their talents and using them for God. So many people do not even think about that.I want to say to you today that God wants you to use everything He has given you for His Kingdom.What are you doing with your talents? Think about it!     I must note that ‘accountability group’ (small group, home group) is not the place where you only share your problems or weaknesses. Of course, accountability implies all of it. But if we only do that, then there is no time for instruction or feed-back, and then this group can turn into a place of gossip and slandering.Accountability group or Christian fellowship is the place of learning where we all strive to be more like Jesus. We do it through questions and answers, Bible study, prayer; we listen to each other and support each other.

  • All true ministry begins in the presence of God

    The only way to see what the Father is doing is to spend time with the father. If you don’t want to just go about doing your own things in your own way, please follow the example of Jesus. Place yourself in a place where you can receive the love of God and allow Him to show you what He is doing now around you, so that you can join Him in His works.

    We all follow up our dream. It is built within us to pursue our dreams and do all we can to fulfill them. When we dream we awaken a desire within us that leads us to have the drive, passion and ambition to accomplish our dream. That is why people with dreams deploy everything within their reach to accomplish their dream. Godly ambition prompts a person to change.

  • The Bible calls us to ALWAYS PRAY AND NOT LOSE HEART

    The whole world lies in wickedness and darkness, but, looking at the people that have made prayer their priority #1, you realize that – so to speak – they are from another planet; they do not live in darkness because they seem shining. They have problems and their life is not any different, but they approach their problems in a different way and they look forward into the future in a different way. Prayer so alters their lives and strengthens their relationships with God that they do not notice things that others do.

  • I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me!

    According to the word of God we are already granted everything we need in order to succeed in this life. God has already given us all that we need to have life abundantly. There is no such need in our life God has not taken care for yet. We only have to get to know God and His precious promises, so that we can prevail the lust of this world and fulfil our call from God.«Seeing that his divine power has granted to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of him who called us by his own glory and virtue; by which he has granted to us his precious and exceedingly great promises; that through these you may become partakers of the divine nature, having escaped from the corruption that is in the world by lust.». (2 Peter 1:3-4).
