A habit is a powerful thing that either hinders us from getting to our goals or helps us and moves in the right direction!

Greetings to you, dear friends! Grace to you and peace from God the Father and our Lord Jesus Christ!Yesterday we talked about the fact that we must put our prayer life in order, since prayer is the foundation of our success in God’s kingdom. If you will get your prayer life in order, you will witness amazing changes that God will make in your life. You can’t even imagine the things the Holy Spirit does when He steps into our lives. He comes to do the will of God on the earth and in your life so Jesus could be exalted. The Holy Spirit comes when we pray. God accepts and loves us always. We haven’t done anything to deserve God’s love and His salvation. So God does not love us because of what we do for Him; He loved even when we were yet sinners. Yes, God loves us no matter what! But His love also moves us forward, out of our present condition. God’s love desires to transform our lives, to see them more fruitful. God’s love desires to change your life for better. God tells us to make prayer a priority in our lives. We must get serious about it.Say to God: «Lord Jesus, help me! I want to make prayer a part of my daily life. I want to see a breakthrough in prayer.»If we consider what God has said about prayer, we see that it is no joke. There must come a moment of change in the life of every one of us, when prayer becomes as important to us as it was to Jesus.Do you have any habits? A habit is a powerful thing that either hinders us from getting to our goals or helps us and moves in the right direction. There are habits that need to be removed from our lives, but then there are others that need to be developed. One of the important habits that we need to develop is to pray daily. Prayer must become habitual. God desires to teach us how to forsake bad habits and to develop good ones. Some people have a habit of wasting time. They may know that they need to pray, what they need to pray about, what prayer does etc, but they still don’t pray because they seem to lack the time, since they waste their time on wrong, unfruitful things – TV, computer, telephone conversations and so on. We must make an effort and find the time to pray.
«See then that you walk circumspectly, no as fools but as wise, redeeming the time, because the days are evil. Therefore do not be unwise, but understand what the will of the Lord is» (Ephesians, 5:15-17).
God’s will is that men would always pray and not lose heart!May this word open the door for changes in your life.We will continue tomorrow!Pastor Rufus Ajiboye

Calling upon God – means to have habitual prayer life. Prayer helps us to draw near to God and releases His provision, because He is close to all who call upon Him. We also talked about the fact that our provision depends not only on our ability to call upon God, but also on how much we fear God. To fear God means to avoid evil, to do good, to seek peace and to follow it. God’s provision and blessing is the reward of those who fear Him. We also pointed out that God has secrets that are meant for dedicated people who call upon His Name and walk in the fear of the Lord. Besides all of the above, it is important to know that dedication to God is impossible without the love for Him.
  • What true ministry is and how ministry changes people’s lives

We saw that usually Jesus first served people and helped them practically and then pointed them to the eternal things – to their Heavenly Father. We must remember that the goal of ministry is to help people reunite with God through our good words.True ministry will require of us to sacrifice something. But we do it for the Lord Jesus Christ and the Gospel
  • What are you doing with your promotion? II

If you want God to exalt you, you need to love God and love people. God exalts the loving hearts. Love God and love your neighbour – these are two main commandments. All of your knowledge won’t bring any results, if you forget these two most important commandments. You probably have noticed that God does not answer all prayers. There are some prayers that God does not pay attention to; it happens when we break two most important commandments – to love God and to love your neighbour. Love towards God and people around you are the very power that must rule us and lead us through life. Love towards God and people that is demonstrated in deeds and not in words brings us to the place where promotion from God is possible.
  • Jesus came to fill the Earth with His glory

Jesus didn´t come into this world to die on the cross so that people become religious and indifferent to God. Contrariwise, Jesus came to fill the Earth with His glory just like rivers fill the seas. Jesus set an example of what we have to do. Wherever Jesus showed up He stirred the place! Everywhere He showed up people responded to His visit both positively and negatively. Some of them said: “Watch the Messiah, He is the answer, He is the son of God!” while the others stated: “He is obsessed by demons, He is a sinner, blasphemer, He is dangerous, so He must die”.
  • God’s purpose for the earth and the role of people in it III

«Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven. Many will say to Me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?’ And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness! ’» (Matthew, 7:21-23).
  • Prayer is a two-way communication

Like I said, it is not what I tell God that it is the most important thing in prayer; it is what God wants to tell me. I will explain why it is so. Is there anything you can tell Him that He does not know! Is there anything at all? He knows everything. You may think that nobody knows what you are going through and that nobody knows the problems you have and how hard your life is. That may apply to people, but not to God. God knows everything! Even before you start praying, God knows everything you may want to tell Him. God also knows why these things are happening to you.
