Your gift will make room for you!

Grace and peace to you from our Lord Jesus Christ! Welcome to „Daily Word for Spiritual Edification”!Today I would like to start talking about the topic I have titled as: “Your gift will make room for you”. The Word of God says:
«A man’s gift makes room for him, and brings him before great men» (Proverbs, 18: 16).
Your gift will make room for you and will broaden your boarders, if you won’t hide it. So many times believers ask: «Where is my place in the Body of Christ? What is my calling?»Do what you know. This simple principle gives an answer to many questions. Find the thing that you know how to do; find what you can do to promote the Kingdom of God, to help the church to grow and to extend your influence in the society.Find needs around you and start meeting them. Find the needs that people don’t even see yet and start meeting them for the glory of the Lord. That is what Solomon talks about in the Book of Ecclesiastes:
«Whatever your hand finds to do, do it with your might; for there is no work or device or knowledge or wisdom in the grave where you are going» (Ecclesiastes, 9: 10).
Whatever your hand can do, do it right now and do it with your might. Besides, whatever you do, be enthusiastic and do it with all of your might. If you are called to the ministry – and, yes, you are called to it! – you need to know that your gift will make a place for you. In order to discover your place in the Body of Christ, you need to use what you have right now (that is, your talents, abilities, knowledge, wisdom, experience etc.) to help and serve people. Then the Lord will exalt you.Ecclesiastes says that there is no work or labour, nor contemplation, nor knowledge, nor wisdom in the grave where all of us will go sooner or later.
«Whatever your hand finds to do, do it with your might; for there is no work or device or knowledge or wisdom in the grave where you are going» (Ecclesiastes, 9: 10).
It is right now that you should use your ability to work, think, use your knowledge, wisdom and experience to serve God and people. So act now! Work now! Start where you are! Start using what you have and doing what you know to do!Many Christians today waste their precious time in searching for their place in the ministry, instead of starting to do what they can right now. «I am waiting to learn the will of God!» – some people say. When they hear the call to come and serve they give this excuse: «I don’t know my place of the ministry». All great men of God who have developed large ministry started with something small that they were able to do at the time.Do not waste your time, because time is a precious gift of God that was measured out for your calling. Your knowledge, experience and abilities are gifts of God. Sow them today, and you will reap a bigger ministry. All great things start small!Tomorrow we will continue about this topic. Be blessed! God so desires for us to seek Him early in the morning. He so desires for us to return to Him. He wants to heal us and to bind up our wounds. God so wants to revive and restore us, so that we could live before Him. When we seek the Lord, when we seek to know Him, He comes and immerses us into His presence; He pours out His rain on us and waters the earth.Yesterday we talked about how Moses set up a tabernacle outside the camp for all seekers of the Lord. We also saw that instead of entering the tabernacle and seeking the face of the Lord, Israelites were simply observing how Moses spoke to God and how God answered Moses.
  • The forms of accountability in the life of a Christian

    (1) Teacher – apprentice. We see examples of this type of relationship in Moses and Joshua, Elijah and Elisha, Paul and Timothy. This form of accountability implies having a disciple or apprentice that you invest yourself into helping him to grow in God. This type of relationship means that a teacher is responsible for his disciple and the disciple submits to his teacher. It helps both teachers and disciples to grow in Jesus Christ and walk in submission to the Lord.
  • A person dedicated to God is able to have joy despite of the circumstances and to always be grateful to God

A dedicated man has joy even during trials and testings and knows how to go through grief; his greatest joy is when his life goes according to God’s plan.In order to see these principles working in your life, we should look at the life of Jesus Who clearly demonstrated what it means to be dedicated to God and doing of His will.
  • What are the grounds or foundations of favour? II

Through faith in Jesus Christ we become clothed in his righteousness and nature. In the our spirit we have the perfect character of the Almighty God even though we do not become perfect in our actions immediately after becoming followers of Jesus. We reflect God’s life, character and thoughts more and more in our lives to that extent to which we submit ourselves to the new nature in our spirit. Our daily submission to God’s nature and character in us is what I call practical righteousness that qualifies us for God’s favour.
  • What are the benefits of pain and suffering at the time?

Problems draw our attention faster than anything else.Problems can become a spiritual “alarm clock” from God. This is what Job (36:15) points out: “He delivers the poor in their affliction, and opens their ears in oppression”.In times of prosperity and abundance we hear God as whispering, but in times of pain and suffering we hear Him loud and clear. God has an ability to revive our attention towards His Word and His voice. That is why Solomon says that in times of abundance we should enjoy life, but in times of suffering we should think about our life.
  • Preparation of the way of the Lord III

We have established that God only comes when we have prepared the way for Him. We can do that by ministering to Him and fulfilling His calling in our lives. We pointed out that we have to use all possible means to preach the Gospel of Kingdom in this world, because that is the necessary prerequisite for the Coming of the Lord in glory and power. Let’s look at one more verse from the Scripture that talk about preparing the way of the Lord.
