God is the only one who knows the true meaning of human life

Good day dear friends and welcome to our column «Daily word for spiritual strength» today. Let the mercy of the Lord be with you the whole day today! I thank God for this opportunity to share the word of revelation He put into my heat with you. Yesterday we determined that we were born in order to fulfil a certain task from God.
«For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared before that we would walk in them». (Ephesians 2:10).
We are saved by Jesus Christ not by our deeds, to be followed by good deeds God has determined for us. Once we realise that He created us, we understand that our life on this Earth is absolutely meaningless without Him, without relationship and collaboration with God. Without Him we would resemble those who lack brain, wandering in the desert, having no certain way to go. Therefore, such people walk in the dark without light, staggering like a drunken man.
«He takes away understanding from the chiefs of the people of the earth, And causes them to wander in a wilderness where there is no way. They grope in the dark without light. He makes them stagger like a drunken man.» (Job 12:24-25).
Describing the destiny of those whose iniquities have separate them from God, the prophet Isiah compared them with living dead.
«but your iniquities have separated between you and your God, and your sins have hidden his face from you, so that he will not hear. The way of peace they don’t know; and there is no justice in their goings: they have made them crooked paths; whoever goes therein does not know peace. Therefore is justice far from us, neither does righteousness overtake us: we look for light, but, behold, darkness; for brightness, but we walk in obscurity. We grope for the wall like the blind; yes, we grope as those who have no eyes: we stumble at noonday as in the twilight; among those who are lusty we are as dead men.» (Isiah 59:2,8-10).
We will never get to know nor enter the God´s plan for our life without close relationships with God. Without His revelation about His plans and intentions for or life we have no future, no hope. That´s why the Bible calls us to turn to God in prayer and seek His presence with all our heart right after He has revealed the fact that He his a plan for our life.
«For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope in your latter end. You shall call on me, and you shall go and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You shall seek me, and find me, when you shall search for me with all your heart.». (Jeremiah 29:11-13).
Understanding of your goal and intention is the only thing that leads a man to perfection and satisfaction. Without such revelation about the goal people die and annihilate themselves. Look, what Solomon says about it:
«Where there is no revelation, the people cast off restraint;…» (Proverbs 29:18).
Revelation about our destiny can only be given to us from above, since we´ve been created by the Almighty God. Without seeking God, studying His word and calling upon Him we are doomed to spend the whole our life cast off restraint, having no real goal in our life. This is the reason why many people are so unhappy today, regardless of all their achievements and benefits they have got. If you have no idea what the goal of your life is or the course you have chosen doesn´t match the plan God has for you then you won´t have peace in your heart, nor will be happy. Happiness without relationships with God, Creator is a myth, utopia and suffering. Only God knows the true purpose of your life. Scientists, psychologists, philosophers, astrologists, extra-senses, fortune tellers – none of those nor anybody else are able to play the role of God. God created us and He as a Creator alone knows the true purpose of a human life. We just have to call to Him and seek His presence with all our heart then He will reveal His plans to His children.Let´s continue tomorrow!Go with Christ!Rufus Adjiboje, pastor

  • We must be grateful to God in all things!

When things go fine and when God answers our prayers, it is easy to thank God, – at those times we thank God and adore Him. But as soon as God decides to answer us in a way that does not fit our plans, we start thinking whether there is any sense in prayer. The Bible calls us to thank God in everything. The Bible calls us to praise God aloud so that other people would hear it. Be grateful to God, praise him, and sing to Him – aloud! Thanksgiving is the very model of prayer that Jesus gave to His disciples.
  • Dedication precedes provision II

To call upon God – it means to have a stable prayer life. God desires you to have consistent and stable prayer life. You have to have a place where you call upon Him.«But you, when you pray, go into your room, and when you have shut your door, pray to your Father who is in the secret place; and your Father who sees in secret will reward you openly» (Mathew, 6:6).
  • Whatever a man sows that shall he also reap

All of life is sowing. Our words are seeds, our actions are also seeds. Even our all your passivity or inactions are also seeds. So, everyday of your life, you are either sowing into the flesh or sowing into the spirit. One way to sow into the spirit is make use of every opportunity to do that which is good towards all men, especially towards them that are of the household of faith.
  • The Word of God – the source of divine information and truth

The lack of vision, knowledge or useful information can become the source of destruction and tragedy. There is a saying that not knowing the law does not relief from the responsibility; not knowing God’s laws or moral blindness multiplies human sufferings on earth.Every person must gain knowledge and understanding of God’s provision; we must know what God has done for us in Christ so that we can lessen human suffering. The lack of such knowledge can cause great pain. It is like a person starving because he does not know about state aid. The lack of knowledge of one’s rights and privileges can cause unnecessary problems.
  • When we pray, invisible chains that bind people suddenly fall off! II

You may ask why people act the way they act? Why don’t people sometimes understand very elementary things? Why do people hear the truth, but do not change? There are invisible things that keep people in bondage. There are strongholds that cannot be destroyed by teaching, sermons, instructions and lectures. They are spiritual things. What happens when the church prays? These strongholds collapse and some real changes take place. We cannot afford not to pray and try to admonish other people; usually people listen to us, say that they understand, but do the same thing all over again.
