Definitely write down the vision you receive from God!

Good day dear friends! Thanks God for this wonderful day that He has given to us! Thanks for  yet another opportunity to fill ourselves with the living word from Him!As we mentioned yesterday, God reveals His covenant and His secrets to certain category of people and you could also belong to this group.Firstly, God reveals His secrets to those who fear and love Him.Secondly, He reveals His secrets to those who stand on their watch.Thirdly, He reveals His secrets to those who sincerely ask Him questions.God likes it when we ask Him questions. He is pleased when we try to find a solutions to our problems in Him and in His word. He loves to see us trust in Him in all our ways. After  Paul asked the Lord: «Lord! What must I do?» (Acts9:6), God could give direction to his life. God also reveals His secrets  to those who value His revelations high enough, that they will write them down.It is so important to have God’s vision for your life.  It doesn’t matter how old you are,  how poor or rich,  the colour of your skin, how educated or uneducated you think you are. God´s purpose, born by the Holy Spirit will guide you in  life and lead you into your eternal destiny from Him. You must have a vision from God or you are in danger of living a purposeless life. This is what the book of proverbs is talking about: «Where there is no revelation, the people cast off restraint». (Proverbs 29:18).First of all, you need a revelation from God. Learning to recognize the voice of your Heavenly Father and getting to know Him as your best friend is vitally important. God is willing to give you wisdom, understanding and revelation in every sphere of your life. However, when you receive revelations and wisdom from God, you have to write everything down. Then this will become a source of life, that gives breathe to you, bringing hope that releases faith  in you and trust in God.To write down the vision down means to record the vision a paper. We have to put it down clearly, the way it makes sense to us later. this way we can retain the vision on paper and thus, we can bring it into reality, so that we can expect it and set our hopes upon it. This is one of the methods we can connect with the vision  and commit ourselves to its fulfillment. Prophet Habakkuk reminds us about the importance of writing down the vision you have received from God.«I will stand at my watch, and set myself on the ramparts, and will look out to see what he will say to me, and what I will answer concerning my complaint. Yahweh answered me, “Write the vision, and make it plain on tablets, that he may run who reads it. For the vision is yet for the appointed time, and it hurries toward the end, and won’t prove false. Though it takes time, wait for it; because it will surely come. It won’t delay.» (Habakkuk 2:1-3).Also prophet Isaiah talks about it in the following verse:«Now go, write it before them on a tablet, and inscribe it in a book, that it may be for the time to come forever and ever.». (Isaiah 30:8).A vision not written down remains just like a dream, idea or fantasy,  that can easily be changed or easily alterable at any moment. Do you value what God reveals to you? Do you write down everything God reveals to you personally or  through other people about your life? The idea of writing down  the vision on  stone plates is a command with  practical benefits. «Yahweh answered me, “Write the vision, and make it plain on tablets, that he may run who reads it» (Habakkuk 2:2).Writing down the vision is not an advice or a suggestion, for us who live in  the 21st century to bury ourselves in the search for  some stone plates and some appropriate tools that we could use to carve visions unto them. However, Habakkuk is emphasizing here the fact, it will be very difficult to erase or get rid of what is carved into stones. It will require great efforts to accomplish such task.It is obligatory that you write down the vision you receive from God!Let´s continue  on this tomorrow!God´s peace be with you!Rufus AJiboye, pastor

The world is changing very rapidly. I am convinced that new changes will come into our lives with an increasing speed. If I told you about different predictions and ideas that experts have about our future, then the hearts of many people would be filled with fear. One pastor spoke to me about it and I saw his heart getting filled with fear after hearing all the predictions. He asked me what to do with all of it; is it worth making big plans if all these terrible things are inevitably coming upon the earth? I told him that – thank God – we have the Bible that contains all the answers.
  • Temptations or trials are a kind of test or exam

If you arm yourself with the knowledge that problems and trials are a test to all of us, and once it´s passed we receive a certain reward from God, then a holy desire to win given by God will be awaken within you. None of you is born willing to be a loser in this life. We all desire to win, but no win where is no battle. For the problems and trials are those battles we either get defeated or celebrate the victory at. Going through hardships and pain in our life, we better understand the price, Jesus paid for our salvation. «…you are partakers of Christ’s sufferings…».
  • If you will not initiate changes, they will never happen in your life

It is time to know that changes are initiated rather than expected. Changes do not happen by chance, they happen because someone initiated them. When it was dark and void all around, God initiated change by introducing light. He said “Let there be light”.“In the beginning, when God created the universe, the earth was formless and desolate. The raging ocean that covered everything was engulfed in total darkness, and the Spirit of God was moving over the water. Then God commanded, “Let there be light”—and light appeared” (Gen.1: 1-3)
  • God helps us to develop compassion towards other people through the ministry as well

It is true that ministry transforms us into the likeness of God. Since God is graceful and compassionate in His essence, then we His children should be able to show to others the grace and compassion of our Heavenly Father and we do that by serving other people. Earlier on, we already mentioned that God’s desire is to transform us into the image and the likeness of Christ so that we can begin to reflect the quality of character that Jesus had. It was Christ who came to reveal God to us so that we can follow in His steps. We know that changes automatically do not occur; changes or transformation happen only as we implement the laws and principles of God into our life. Ministry is one tremendous way we can do that; it is one of the many tools, God uses to mold and transform us into likeness of Christ.
  • Are you in bondage, in the wilderness or in your promise land?

We read about how God promised the children of Israel a land flowing with milk and honey, but when it came time to possess it, as a nation they were not ready. There are attitudes that keep you in bondage and wandering in the wilderness, while a promised land flowing with milk and honey awaits you. The Bible is full of the record of sins that plagued the rest of the children of Israel which we are to be aware of today in our lives.
