How does a breakthrough benefit us?

Hello dear friends! Today I want to talk to you about how a breakthrough benefits us. Let us take a story from the Bible for a base.
«One day Peter and John were going up to the temple at the time of prayer – at three in the afternoon. Now a man crippled from birth was being carried to the temple gate called Beautiful, where he was put every day to beg from those going into the temple courts. When he saw Peter and John about to enter, he asked them for money. Peter looked straight at him, as did John. Then Peter said, “Look at us!” So the man gave them his attention, expecting to get something from them. Then Peter said, “Silver or gold I do not have, but what I have I give you. In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, walk.” Taking him by the right hand, he helped him up, and instantly the man’s feet and ankles became strong. He jumped to his feet and began to walk. Then he went with them into the temple courts, walking and jumping, and praising God. When all the people saw him walking and praising God, they recognized him as the same man who used to sit begging at the temple gate called Beautiful, and they were filled with wonder and amazement at what had happened to him…» (Acts 3:1-10)
So, how does a breakthrough benefit us?
  • A breakthrough moves us from weakness to strength. This crippled man’s feet and ankles were weak, therefore he could not walk. When God gave him a breakthrough, his feet and ankles immediately became strong. «…7Taking him by the right hand, he helped him up, and instantly the man’s feet and ankles became strong. » (Acts 3:7).
Weaknesses in your life will become strong points starting this day in the Name of Jesus Christ. After a breakthrough, the weak can truly say, «I am strong!»
  • A breakthrough allows you to move from crawling over to jumping. When a person crawls, they are limited in life. They cannot walk long distances, but if they can, they are very slow and suffering a lot of pain. Starting the moment of the breakthrough, this crippled man moved from crawling over to jumping and walking. God made his steps faster. «8He jumped to his feet and began to walk. Then he went with them into the temple courts, walking and jumping, and praising God.» (Acts 3:8)
God will give wings to your destiny and will make your steps faster in the Name of Jesus Christ.
  • A breakthrough will transform you from a grieving and murmuring person into a happy and singing person. «All the people saw him walking and praising God…» (Acts 3:9)
This man suddenly received joy in the Lord instead of mourning. This is what God want to do through a breakthrough. God wants to give the oil of gladness instead of mourning, and a garment of praise instead of a spirit of despair. (Isaiah 61:3).
  • A breakthrough will help us change from a broken beggar into a happy and joyful person.
God wants to make your life more beautiful. He wants to give you a new song in the early morning, He wants to provide for those who grieve in Zion – He will bestow on them a crown of beauty instead of ashes. (Isaiah 61:3а). This will happen due to the breakthrough given by God. God wants you to become living testimonies of His love and power.
  • A breakthrough will lead you out of a hard work and take you into celebration. You might be working hard with no outstanding success, but when you experience a breakthrough, your work will bring you an actual profit.
If this is what you want in life, do not miss what we will talk about in the next two days. Tomorrow we will talk about what our breakthrough depends on. You will succeed in the Name of Jesus Christ! With God! Pastor Rufus Ajiboye

  • Definitely write down the vision you receive from God II

«…Write the vision, and make it plain on tablets, that he may run who reads it.» (Habakkuk 2:2).Make notes of everything you believe in, everything that God speaks to your heart during prayer, fasting or Bible studies on the paper! For example, you may say: “I wish I could preach the word of God followed by miracles and wondrous things”, or “I wish I could bring relief to orphans by giving some of them a shelter in my house”, or ”I want to establish a school for those who would minister in the church”.
  • Put to death therefore your members which are on the earth

“Put to death your body”- means letting the resurrected life that dwells in you spring its roots. By feeding our old sinful nature we strengthen it and as a result of this the sinful nature prevails the resurrected life inside us. In opposite, when thinking about things that are above ans seeking those things we enable ourselves to celebrate a victory over sin and the old nature.Quite often, when somebody hears that he has to put his body to death he says to himself: “I can´t do it!” This is the voice of your old nature. Though, let me share the good news with you – the Bible says, when Christ reveals Himself so will you in His glory, and your new life will be transformed into abundant life. If we have fellowship with God, seek things that are above and reason about Him, then Christ will definitely reveal Himself in our life.
  • Ministry changes a selfish person into a loving, compassionate servant of the Lord

It is not a secret that we are all born selfish. Someone might argue and say that does not apply to him or that he is not selfish. If you say that then you are lying! We are all selfish, except the transforming grace of God!What does it mean to be selfish?· A selfish person is one who lives only for himself. He only cares about his world and does not notice what is happening to others around him. A selfish person is only concerned about his life and his comforts.
  • The Importance of God’s will

Today I would like to start talking about „The Importance of God’s will”. The Holy Scripture says: “Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven” (Mathew, 7: 21). The Bible calls every one of us to have sound mind, especially in learning the will of God for his or her life.«Therefore do not be unwise, but understand what the will of the Lord is» (Ephesians, 5:18).Why is it so important to allocate some time for seeking out the will of God? Why is understanding of God’s will so necessary for a person? It is because the understanding of God’s will determine both our happiness here, on earth, and our status in the future, in eternity.
  • Do not focus of what you do not have; simply go ahead and use what you have!

Every human being is a unique work of God. Every one has been given unique abilities and talents. There isn’t one unnecessary person on this earth; there isn’t one insignificant talent or ability. Everything that God created is needed by someone and is intended as a blessing for someone. Look at yourself today in a new light and see that you are a unique personality highly gifted by God; you are a unique specimen. There isn’t another person on this earth like you! But sometimes we are distracted when we start comparing ourselves to others and envying them just because they have something we do not have. For this reason we stop appreciating the things that God has given us and sometimes it makes us passive and inert.
  • Seek first to do that which is the will of God in all your decisions

If you fear God, the first thing you consider in any decision you make is: “What is God’s will in this matter? What does God say about this issue?” The first question you ask in hard times should never be “How hard is it going to get doing what I am doing” BUT RATHER what is God’s will in this matter?
