When we obey God, then divine power is released to bring about the manifestation of all necessary intervention

Apart from unbelief, there is still one thing i want us to talk about that prevents us from experiencing God’s intervention in our lives. And that is disobedience to definite instructions from God. The lame man we have been talking about up till now nearly missed his miracle. He could not follow a simple and definite instruction. Everything Peter told him to do was: “rise up and walk!”
“Then Peter said, Silver and gold have I none; but such as I have give I thee: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth rise up and walk.  7And he took him by the right hand, and lifted him up: and immediately his feet and ankle bones received strength” (Acts 3: 6-7).
Yes, it is the true that he has never walked for forty years but then, whenever God instruct us to do something we have never done before in life, we must understand that He knows what He is talking about. While our hero hesitated, Peter took him by and lifted him up to his feet, and suddenly strength force entered into foot and knees. This is how it always happens. When we obey God, then divine power is released to bring about the manifestation of all necessary intervention. The bible has this to say about obedience:
“If ye be willing and obedient, ye shall eat the good of the land” (Isaiah 1: 19).
Whether or not we will taste the blessings of the earth depends on our obedience.Marry told the attendants at marriage feast in Cana of Galilee:
“Whatsoever he saith unto you, do it” (John 2: 5).
When they did what Jesus told them to do, then miracle was the result.
“Jesus saith unto them, Fill the waterpots with water. And they filled them up to the brim. 8And he saith unto them, Draw out now, and bear unto the governor of the feast. And they bare it. 9When the ruler of the feast had tasted the water that was made wine, and knew not whence it was: (but the servants which drew the water knew;) the governor of the feast called the bridegroom,  10And saith unto him, Every man at the beginning doth set forth good wine; and when men have well drunk, then that which is worse: but thou hast kept the good wine until now” (John 2: 7-10).
Just like the water was turned into wine, failure can be turned into success and tragedy into triumph. The only condition for that to happen is our OBEDIENCE.Are you obedient to the Lord? When the Lord instructs you:
“Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God” (Phil.4: 6)
What are you doing about that? When God said:
„See that none render evil for evil unto any man; but ever follow that which is good, both among yourselves, and to all men.  16Rejoice evermore.  17Pray without ceasing.   18In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.   19Quench not the Spirit” (1 Thessalonians. 5: 15-19).
How are you doing on your obedience to these instructions? If you said you are expecting a breakthrough in the area of your finances, let me ask you this question: how are you doing in respect to bringing your tithe and offerings into the storehouse of God?Let me remind you what the word of God said about this:
“Ye are cursed with a curse: for ye have robbed me, even this whole nation.   10Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the LORD of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it.  11And I will rebuke the devourer for your sakes, and he shall not destroy the fruits of your ground; neither shall your vine cast her fruit before the time in the field, saith the LORD of hosts.  12And all nations shall call you blessed: for ye shall be a delightsome land, saith the LORD of hosts” (Malachi 3: 9-12).
Financial difficulty is inevitable for those who are disobedient to God in the area of financial management.
“Ye looked for much, and, lo it came to little; and when ye brought it home, I did blow upon it. Why? saith the LORD of hosts. Because of mine house that is waste, and ye run every man unto his own house.  10Therefore the heaven over you is stayed from dew, and the earth is stayed from her fruit.  11And I called for a drought upon the land, and upon the mountains, and upon the corn, and upon the new wine, and upon the oil, and upon that which the ground bringeth forth, and upon men, and upon cattle, and upon all the labour of the hands” (Haggai 1: 9-11)
Starting from today, proof to God that you a candidate for breakthrough by taking a solid decision to obey God in all things. God bless you! Pastor Rufus Ajiboye

  • The importance of having the right connection between your evenings and your mornings

What does this tell us? It tells us that God started His day in the evening. It is very important for us to borrow this wisdom from our Heavenly Father. If we get up in the morning and only then start thinking about what we need to do for the day, then we are already starting it in the wrong manner and have already starting too late. The last moment to start your day is the evening of the previous day. In the evening we need to have a composed idea of what we are doing the next day. We need to have a plan for the next day. Before we go to bed we need to have a vision for the next day. If we are too lazy to make any plans for the next day before going to bed then we are heading towards poverty both physical and spiritual. It is crucial for us to accept this wisdom from God to start the day in the evening of the previous day: «So the evening and the morning were the first day».
  • Jesus came to fill the Earth with His glory

Jesus didn´t come into this world to die on the cross so that people become religious and indifferent to God. Contrariwise, Jesus came to fill the Earth with His glory just like rivers fill the seas. Jesus set an example of what we have to do. Wherever Jesus showed up He stirred the place! Everywhere He showed up people responded to His visit both positively and negatively. Some of them said: “Watch the Messiah, He is the answer, He is the son of God!” while the others stated: “He is obsessed by demons, He is a sinner, blasphemer, He is dangerous, so He must die”.
  • You won’t have a ministry if you don’t start using what you have now

The topic of our devotion today is “Your gift will make room for you”.We have been talking about how all big things start small, whether it is a known person, great ministry, great accomplishments or great influence. It all starts when a person does what he can do and does it with all his might as unto the Lord with faith and consistency. When one has such attitude towards life he will have his or her reward from the Lord. Such a person will be blessed and exalted by God. His or her gift will make room for him or her in God’s overall picture and the Body of Christ.Person’s gift will make room for him and will bring him before great men, – this is on of the Bible principles; the Bible teaches about it and also it can be seen in the lives of the people in the Bible.
  • How to enter your ministry

Yesterday we started discussing how we can enter our ministry. We established that, first; we need a strong desire to serve. This desire is tied to our understanding of God’s will and the purpose of our salvation. As we talked about, ministry helps us to reveal our potential. Ministry helps us to find out about ourselves, our calling in the establishment of God’s Kingdom on earth and doing the works that are pleasing to God. God has predestined for us to do particular good works. God desires for us to be fruitful and glorify Him on earth. Through our ministry God wants to fill this earth with the knowledge of Him and His Kingdom. He wants us to establish His principles in every sphere of life and win people for Him by the ministry we do on earth.
  • God wants us to be people of strong character, operating with the character of Christ

Without such character the gifts of the Holy Spirit bear no fruits in and through us, neither does it delivers any satisfaction to us personally.God wants us to have more than anything else a continuous desire to be like Jesus. If God’s desire becomes ours, it will urge us to discover the gifts God has hidden inside of us.
