Allow you trouble to enlarge you instead of breaking you

Hello friends! You are welcome to our daily word for the day. God’s word for you today is this: allow your trouble to enlarge you instead of breaking you.Trouble can either break you or make you. It all depends on your reaction. We will examine the example of David and allow him to teach us today how to react in difficult situations.
“Hear me when I call, O God of my righteousness: thou hast enlarged me when I was in distress; have mercy upon me, and hear my prayer. 2 O ye sons of men, how long will ye turn my glory into shame? how long will ye love vanity, and seek after leasing? Selah. 3 But know that the LORD hath set apart him that is godly for himself: the LORD will hear when I call unto him. 4 Stand in awe, and sin not: commune with your own heart upon your bed, and be still. Selah. 5 Offer the sacrifices of righteousness, and put your trust in the LORD. 6 There be many that say, Who will shew us any good? LORD, lift thou up the light of thy countenance upon us. 7 Thou hast put gladness in my heart, more than in the time that their corn and their wine increased. 8 I will both lay me down in peace, and sleep: for thou, LORD, only makest me dwell in safety” (Psalm 4:1-8).
We can see from our text that people have turned David’s glory into shame and made a mockery of him and of his God. However in all these situations, David’s reaction was to trust the Lord and act righteously. He reacted to his troubles in a godly manner by following the principles of God’s kingdom, the principles of faith and love. David acted rightly because of his knowledge of God. He called upon the Lord and the Lord answered him. God doesn’t answer all prayers, but God has set apart for himself the godly to answer whenever they call upon him. If you act godly in all situations of life, God has promised you that you will prosper like a tree by the riverside, bear fruit in your season, and you will never wither or faint. The godly will prosper and grow despite all the odds of life because he doesn’t walk in the ways of sinners nor sit in the seat of scoffers; rather, he meditates on the law of God day and night. This is why his reaction to trouble is godly. David said he could sleep peacefully despite his trouble, and his heart was filled with gladness more than those who have material gains. Why? David has learned to react to life’s situations in faith and has cultivated the act of walking in love. When the whole situation was over, David could say that his troubles had not decreased him, but had rather enlarged him: thou hast enlarged me when I was in distress God’s word for you today is this: allow your trouble to enrich and enlarge you instead of allowing it to break you. Remember, you cannot always control what happens to you, but you can control your reaction, and it is your reaction that will determine your destiny. May the Lord enlarge you through your troubles in Jesus’ name! See you tomorrow. • The philosophy of change

It is quite often that we oppose changes; we resist any changes because we are creatures of habit. If something is new and unusual for us, we don’t like it. Is that the truth? Whatever is unusual to us scares us. We love the comforts of life and if something upsets our comfortable position, we start to fight it with all of our strength.Nevertheless God calls every person to go through changes.
  • Wisdom of a man and wisdom of God

There are a wisdom of this world and God´s wisdom. God´s wisdom differs from the wisdom of this world the way that it´s hidden until the God Himself reveals it to the people. As for the wisdom of this world, that´s a human wisdom gained using five methods of perception, or sense: hearing, sight, touch, smell, and taste, which are the natural channels used to gain a knowledge.Differently from God´s wisdom that exists for our glory, the wisdom of a man once passes away. The Bible says, that «the foolishness of God is wiser than men, and the weakness of God is stronger than men», even more His wisdom is. God´s wisdom is much higher than the wisdom of a man.
  • What is calling? How to reveal personal calling and how to enter it?

Recognising of your calling and your task in this life is a process that consists of many small details. Quite often, people try to reveal their calling, while neglecting those small details that make the whole process. Nowadays, many people are unhappy because they either lack revelation for their life or oppose to such revelation, or simply lack understanding of how to fulfil the revelation. Let´s figure it all out.First thing to know is the fact that you were born to carry out a certain task. Bible says our life on this Earth has a goal and value determined. You are not a result of an accident! You were born on this Earth not just for the matter of occupying some space and breathing. You´ve got a mission to fulfil, a way to measure. You are created to take care for others and saved to minister. There many places in the Bible talking about this. We are going to elaborate the verse from Paul´s letter to Ephesians 2:10
  • Don’t ever allow anything or anybody to stop you from serving.

Friends, no matter how badly people or life itself has treated you, if you want to move ahead in life you have to learn how to focus on the right thing and chose the right life position. If despite all the odds of life you can still focus on using your gifts and talents; if you can still continue to serve people, then you will soon be able to change your status. That was exactly what happened to Joseph. As he served these two officers of pharaoh instead of concentrating on the offences of others, the door to his throne opened to him easily. Pharaoh sent for Joseph and fetched him out of the prison.
  • Without God I cannot, but with Him I can do all!

We can not do the works of God without God. Very often in our own strength, we try to do what God requires us to do with Him. Often we rely on ourselves and on things we already know. Often we rely on our experience. But when the prayer is our priority we understand that when relying on ourselves and doing the job without prayer, we are wasting time and energy. Without a strong prayer movement in the church, the church vision cannot be accomplished. It´s just not possible!
  • Will you become a person like Noah for your generation?

„This is the genealogy of Noah. Noah was a just man, perfect in his generations. Noah walked with God.” (Genesis 6:9) 1. Noah was a just man. 2. Noah was a just and perfect man in his kin and his generation. 3. Noah walked with God. When God finds a man like that, He establishes His covenant with him.
