Daily obedience to God in different areas of your life will bring you to your calling IV

«Praise the Lord! Oh, give thanks to the Lord, for He is good! For His mercy endures forever» (Psalm 106:1).
The mercy of the Lord has been renewed this morning for every one of us. God rules! God loves people who live on this earth! Today God saves, heals and delivers!
«Behold, the Lord’s hand is not shortened, that it cannot save; nor His ear heavy, that it cannot hear» (Isaiah 59:1).
God loves every person. He has prepared an amazing destiny for every one of us. Each person is born for a specific purpose. Everyone has a calling, but only the Lord knows what that calling includes. When a person fully submits to the Lord, then He opens to this person everything that concerns his or her calling.Jesus once told Peter to step out of the boat and walk on the water. Until then no person had ever done this, so people thought it to be impossible. Peter obeyed the word of the Lord and walked on the water, thus making it possible.
«So He said, “Come”. And when Peter had come down out of the boat, he walked on the water to go to Jesus» (Mathew, 14:29).
Until that moment Peter could not have imagined that he could do something like it. Peter’s obedience made it possible for Peter to accomplish something that seemed humanly impossible. Peter walked on the water, while the rest stayed in the boat. These people never walked on the water not because it wasn’t possible, but because they were not obedient to God.When we obey God and do what He tells us, then impossible things become possible. Being obedient to God is difficult, sometimes painful; sometimes it implies suffering, but obedience is always rewarding.I never thought that one day I would be able to stand before people and preach, because I was rather shy by nature, even very shy. But now I do it; I preach in different cities and countries. Today I preach to total strangers. God made it possible through my obedience to Him on a daily basis.God has a calling for every person. When each one of us becomes the servant of the Lord and is obedient to Him on a daily basis, then it becomes easy for us to enter our calling. And you can see it when you read Jesus’ parable about talents that we find in Matthew 25.
«For the kingdom of heaven is like a man travelling to a far country, who called his own servants and delivered his goods to them» (Matthew 25:14).
God calls those people that have given Him their lives and consider Jesus to be their Lord.We talked about the fact that if we want to learn our calling and to enter it, we need to be obedient to God on a daily basisas well as allow Jesus to become our Lord in all areas of our lives. Today I want you to see that Jesus gave to every one of His servants according to his power or capability.
«And to one he gave five talents, to another two, and to another one, to each according to his own ability; and immediately he went on a journey» (Matthew 25:14-15).
We should not compare ourselves to other people or envy them if they have something that we do not have. It is wrong. God gives to everyone according to his or her ability and God makes us stewards of the talents He has given to us. There are people that are so much more talented than me; there are people that have a lot more understanding in certain matters than me. But I should not envy them; I shouldn’t feel inferior to them, – because that is a lie from the devil. Unfortunately, many people have believed this lie; for this reason they lack confidence and are passive in the matters of the Kingdom; they believe that there are others, more talented that are doing what needs to be done.Do not let the devil deceive you! You are a unique individual created according to God’s image and in His likeness. God has given every person unique talents that are crucial for the Kingdom of God. God has done everything for you to succeed in this life. But there is something you should do: you need to start using your talents, experience and all the other things that you have. God will never leave you! But remember that God meets halfway those who walk and act!God bless you!Till tomorrow!Pastor Rufus Ajiboy

    1. God changes us through accountability. In order to change us, God often subordinates us to a person we have to give an account to. A person without responsibility is blind to see his own level of arrogance, rebellion and selfishness he has to get over. Accountability is a kind of protection from misbelief and self-deception for us.
  • Your gift will make room for you

Today I would like to start talking about the topic I have titled as: “Your gift will make room for you”. The Word of God says: «A man’s gift makes room for him, and brings him before great men» (Proverbs, 18: 16).Your gift will make room for you and will broaden your boarders, if you won’t hide it. So many times believers ask: «Where is my place in the Body of Christ? What is my calling?»Do what you know. This simple principle gives an answer to many questions. Find the thing that you know how to do; find what you can do to promote the Kingdom of God, to help the church to grow and to extend your influence in the society.
  • Lust brings sin, and sin brings death II

Lust is excessive appetite for something. For example, uncontrollable sexual desire leads to rape, fornication, adultery and different types of sexual perversion. It can also lead to sexual illnesses, sometimes incurable. Moreover, feelings of guilt, depression, suicidal tendencies, breaking up of marriages, sufferings of children, violence, hatred and other similar things are often the result of sexual lust. Lust can also be experienced in the area of finances, drinking or eating. It all has brought pain and suffering to many people in the form of some addiction: alcoholism, drug addiction, gambling, stealing, treachery, murder etc.
  • What are the grounds or foundations of favour? II

Through faith in Jesus Christ we become clothed in his righteousness and nature. In the our spirit we have the perfect character of the Almighty God even though we do not become perfect in our actions immediately after becoming followers of Jesus. We reflect God’s life, character and thoughts more and more in our lives to that extent to which we submit ourselves to the new nature in our spirit. Our daily submission to God’s nature and character in us is what I call practical righteousness that qualifies us for God’s favour.
  • Everything that gets into God’s hands multiplies

For several days now we have been discussing the how the gift when it is used makes room for us and takes us before great people. When the gift is used it broadens our possibilities and destroys limitations. Thank God for creating us just the way we are.Dear friend, you have been given the things you need to start your supernatural ministry. Do not view your gift as being something small and insignificant. When Jesus told His disciples to feed the multitude, they argued with Him, saying: “We have here only five loaves and two fish”. I guess the disciples expected Jesus to say: «Oh, yes! Then let the people go, because we don’t have enough for everyone!» But Jesus did not say that. He managed to feel the multitude of people because one little boy gave back to the Lord the little he had.
