Expect the best from God, adjust your life to the supernatural intervention from God, but do not forget to do your own part

I welcome you to our site on this wonderful that the Lord has made! The word of God contains Divine wisdom, and this wisdom makes our lives to shine. I invite you today to soak your spirit with this wisdom of God.Continuing our thoughts on breakthrough and the factors that determine our breakthrough in life, I would like to underline the following point today: Do not accept that which is not God’s best you.Go for the best that God has in store for your life. Sometimes we slow down our breakthrough because we choose survival instead of coveting abundant life. Jesus has come that we may have life and life in abundance, instead of just having small drops of blessings. Let us look at the story of the lame man in the book of Acts of Apostles:
“Now Peter and John went up together into the temple at the hour of prayer, being the ninth hour. 2And a certain man lame from his mother’s womb was carried, whom they laid daily at the gate of the temple which is called Beautiful, to ask alms of them that entered into the temple; 3Who seeing Peter and John about to go into the temple asked an alms. 4And Peter, fastening his eyes upon him with John, said, Look on us. 5And he gave heed unto them, expecting to receive something of them” (Acts 3: 1-5)
It is likely that this Lame man prayed and expected at least a daily bread for the day. May be he was just expecting some few coins so that he could buy something to eat for the day.Make this confession to your self today: «I reject that which is not the best from God for my life. »  This lame man could have waited every day not only for bread or some alms, but also for healing, however, the person who has got used to his or her situation cannot expect something better from life. Are you expecting a miracle from the Lord today? God wants to give you the best of His blessings. He wants to grant you the desires of your heart. Do you have any aspiration in your heart for the best from God? Or are you like Abraham who begged God to just bless Ishmael when God has prepared for him an Isaac?
Then Abraham fell upon his face, and laughed, and said in his heart, Shall a child be born unto him that is an hundred years old? and shall Sarah, that is ninety years old, bear? 18And Abraham said unto God, O that Ishmael might live before thee! 19And God said, Sarah thy wife shall bear thee a son indeed; and thou shalt call his name Isaac: and I will establish my covenant with him for an everlasting covenant, and with his seed after him. (Genesis 17:17-19)
Are you like the barren woman who said, she has no need of anything when she was as close to her breakthrough in life as never before?
“And it fell on a day, that Elisha passed to Shunem, where was a great woman; and she constrained him to eat bread. And so it was, that as oft as he passed by, he turned in thither to eat bread. 9And she said unto her husband, Behold now, I perceive that this is an holy man of God, which passeth by us continually. 10Let us make a little chamber, I pray thee, on the wall; and let us set for him there a bed, and a table, and a stool, and a candlestick: and it shall be, when he cometh to us, that he shall turn in thither. 11And it fell on a day, that he came thither, and he turned into the chamber, and lay there. 12And he said to Gehazi his servant, Call this Shunammite. And when he had called her, she stood before him. 13And he said unto him, Say now unto her, Behold, thou hast been careful for us with all this care; what is to be done for thee? wouldest thou be spoken for to the king, or to the captain of the host? And she answered, I dwell among mine own people. 14And he said, What then is to be done for her? And Gehazi answered, Verily she hath no child, and her husband is old. 15And he said, Call her. And when he had called her, she stood in the door. 16And he said, About this season, according to the time of life, thou shalt embrace a son. And she said, Nay, my lord, thou man of God, do not lie unto thine handmaid. 17And the woman conceived, and bare a son at that season that Elisha had said unto her, according to the time of life” (2 Kings 4: 8-17).
This woman has come to the place where she began to regard here barrenness, as her fate in life. Even then, when God wanted to give her a breakthrough, she almost lost her chance for a miracle. If it was not for Gehazi, the servant of Elisha, this woman will not have seen her barrenness as a problem. In day of his breakthrough our lame hero rose in the morning expecting to receive some coins in the form of alms from the passing people. He has already stopped expecting healing. This is one of the reasons I believed nothing ever changed in his life for 40 years. Begin to expect changes in your life from now on, and you will soon be discover beyond any shadow of doubt that God’s plan for you is a good plan! You will experience miracles after miracles in your life. The Word of God to you today is this: Expect the best from God, adjust your life to the supernatural intervention from God, but do not forget to do your own part.May your breakthrough never pass you by in Jesus Name!Have a wonderful day! 1. Use the spiritual weapons God has given you: «Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. Put on the whole armour of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. Therefore take up the whole armour of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Stand therefore, having girded your waist with truth, having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and having shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace; above all, taking the shield of faith with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God» (Ephesians, 6:10-17).
  • Temptations or trials are a kind of test or exam

If you arm yourself with the knowledge that problems and trials are a test to all of us, and once it´s passed we receive a certain reward from God, then a holy desire to win given by God will be awaken within you. None of you is born willing to be a loser in this life. We all desire to win, but no win where is no battle. For the problems and trials are those battles we either get defeated or celebrate the victory at. Going through hardships and pain in our life, we better understand the price, Jesus paid for our salvation. «…you are partakers of Christ’s sufferings…».
  • Transformed person is a person with the right and pure motives

Transformed person serves other people because he loves them, not in order to benefit from them. It makes me sad when I meet people who minister because it gives them a certain benefits. It´s awfully hard to change a person who has such motives. Judas Iscariot who betrayed Jesus was one of this kind. For three and a half years he had stayed with Jesus, but in no way it changed him, because he had sinister motives. Judas Iscariot was greedy, money loving man. Jesus put Judas in charge with financial part of His ministry, so he had access to money and offerings. First Judas began to steal money from their pay-box, later also betrayed his Master.
  • All true ministry begins in the presence of God II

Today I want to continue our talk on starting ministry in the presence of God. Yesterday we saw the example of Lord Jesus Christ Himself, but today we are going to see the example of prophet Isaiah. The classic example of prophet Isaiah is another strong illustration that shows us how effective ministry must begin in the presence of God
  • How does a truly responsible person look like? III

«..for You (God) have magnified Your word above all Your name» (Psalm 138:2b).We are the children of God, created in the image and after the likeness of God. If our God takes responsibility for what He has said, He expects the same from us. Besides, He does not mean for us to do it on our own; He has sent to us the Helper, Teacher, Comforter and Advocate – the Holy Spirit to be with us at all times.
  • When you do not see a way out and when everything looks hopeless and bleak, – worship God!

“Then she came and worshipped Him, saying, “Lord, help me!» (Mathew, 15:25). Many people have a hard time even saying the words „help me”. Many people have a hard time acknowledging that they actually need help. They do not want to admit they are helpless in certain situations and call out for help. Help does not come to those that do not ask for it. Only a humble, broken person is able to ask for help. This woman had a broken heart; for this reason she was able to worship Jesus and ask Him for help. May our hearts be humble before God, so that we can worship God and ask for His help. When you need help, you must humble your heart before God.
