Find someone you can trust fully and without holding back and confess to them!

Greetings to you, dear friends!Grace and peace to you from Father God and our Lord Jesus Christ!Yesterday we established the main biblical forms of accountability. Let’s name them again:(1)    Teacher – disciple.(2)    Comrades and collaborates in the Lord.(3)    Team or small group (home group).(4)    Marriage.(5) Local church. We also talked about the fact that it all begins with your decision to be accountable to someone, because that is God’s will for every one in us. Besides, we saw that we need to pray for God to show us the person He wants to us to be accountable to. We saw that this person must be devoted to God and not compromise God’s Word, is not afraid to speak the truth, because he loves you and wants to help you. Also you must respect this person and be willing to accept correction and instruction from him or her.One more important moment is that it is advisable to seek the help of a person of the same sex: woman to woman, man to man. Of course, there can be exception, for example, husband and wife, father and daughter, mother and son, brother and sister, close relatives etc. When you open up to a person God has placed as overseer over you, you must go to that person and tell him that you want to be accountable to him and give regular accounts of your life. Besides, you must give this person time to think over your proposal. If he or she is willing to enter this type of relationships, then together you have to decide on the time, form and structure of your meetings. Also you must determine how often you will meet, what you are going to talk about, what issues you will discuss. This person should be able to ask you a forward question about how far you are willing to let him into the matters of your life. He has a right to get an answer to this question because it wasn’t his idea to start this relationship; it was yours, and you are the one that wants to give account to him or her. And you did it being aware that this relationship provides for you God’s protection and healing.God desires to heal many of you who are reading this message. He wants you to find that person who you can give account to and repent of your actions and offences. Through accountability God wants to heal you and give you freedom. Some of you are tormented by not being able to confess your hidden sins. But God is calling you to allow His light shine upon those areas of your life that have been hidden until now.Based on the authority of God’s Word and by God’s Spirit I say to you that if you will not open the dark areas of your life to the person you are accountable to, then sooner or later everything will become evident to everyone; one of the Bible principles is that everything that is hidden will be brought to light. So, find someone you can trust fully and without holding back and confess to them. When that happens, you will experience tremendous freedom!Freedom comes when we walk in the light; it is not just how long we pray. When we do the right things that are based on God’s Word, the Son of God sets us free and we are free indeed:
«Then Jesus said to those Jews who believed Him, “If you abide in My word, you are My disciples indeed. And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free» (John, 8:31-32).
Lift up your hands to the Lord right now and say:«Dear Lord, I want to do Your will. Help me, Lord! I have no fear. The only fear I want to have in my life is the fear of the Lord. I don’t care what other people think of me, – I want to do what is right and I want to change. I want to give to you all my fears and faults, all the things that stand as a barrier in the way to growth and healing. I want to live in true freedom and wholeness. I want to be open before You and the people You have placed as overseers over my life. Help me, Jesus, to overcome my fears: fear of being vulnerable, fear of rejections, and fear of condemnation. Help me to overcome my distrust towards people. I thank You for delivering me from the things of my past. I thank you, Lord, for freedom. I do not want to experience the burdens of past sins. I want to move forward in God and enjoy the new life. Thank you, Lord, in Jesus name! Thank you for the revelation of Your Word. Thank you, Jesus, for the truth that sets us free. I want to be accountable; that is why I accept Your grace to live in  this truth. I accept God’s ability to do it, in Jesus name! I thank you, Jesus, for everything!» May God abundantly bless you and pour His grace upon you!Pastor Rufus Ajiboye

  • What are you doing with your talent? II

The world is changing very rapidly. I am convinced that new changes will come into our lives with an increasing speed. If I told you about different predictions and ideas that experts have about our future, then the hearts of many people would be filled with fear. One pastor spoke to me about it and I saw his heart getting filled with fear after hearing all the predictions. He asked me what to do with all of it; is it worth making big plans if all these terrible things are inevitably coming upon the earth? I told him that – thank God – we have the Bible that contains all the answers.
  • Faith is obedience to the Lord!

Are you willing to experience God and His power in your life? If so, trust God and express it via your obedience to Him. The Bible says that without faith you can´t please the Lord. If you don´t please God you cannot experience His presence nor power neither. When God reveals you something He is going to accomplish, you have to follow his invitation without hesitation. It proves your devotion and your desire to listen to His voice. Meanwhile, disobedience turns your heart to stone and shuts our ears to God´s voice. Faith is acting in accordance to the word of God. Quite often God calls us to do impossible things, those only God Himself can accomplish.
  • How to develop a habit of prayer in our life? IV

“ … for apart from me you can do nothing.” (John 15:5)Prayer unites us with our Heavenly Father, helps to know the depth of the His heart, His love and His plans for our life.Do you remember Daniel? He was a man of God, similarly to David, one, whose attitude to prayer and fellowship with God was very serious. In Daniel 6:10 we read:«When Daniel knew that the writing was signed, he went into his house (now his windows were open in his chamber toward Jerusalem) and he bowed down on his knees three times a day, and prayed, and gave thanks before his God, as he did before».
  • The importance of our faithfulness to God II

God counts on our involvement and participation just as He counted on Moses’ victory over Pharaoh. Moses was faithful in the house of God, and for this reason Pharaoh could not stop the process of the deliverance and the salvation of God’s people despite his power, his strength and his huge army.Jesus Christ was faithful to His mission and for this reason in Him all people in this world have an opportunity to receive redemption, salvation and deliverance.
  • We must learn to think big!

God’s Kingdom is bigger than just a church; the Kingdom cannot be hidden inside the church walls. The Bible tells us that we are salt to the earth and light to the world. It means that our ministry has to go beyond the boarders of a church and leave an impact on the city, the country and the world. We need to think of how to salt the earth and enlighten the world. We should start locally; but we must think globally. «You shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth», – said Jesus in Acts (1: 8).
  • What we sow is what we reap

But it is also important to note that we reap a lot more than we sow. Without sowing we don’t reap at all. If you want to become great and bring fruit in the kingdom of God, if you desire for your life to have godly influence over other people, then you have to sow your life into others. There are no short cuts to greatness and true influence. It would be foolish to expect greatness, multiplication and fruitfulness without sowing. That would be deception!
