In our lives we must reflect the life, the power and the nature of Christ II

Greetings to you, dear friends! Praise God for this wonderful day He has given us! Thank God for one more opportunity to be filled with His living Word!

We have been talking about our destiny as God’s children, and it is to be the light to the world and the salt of the earth. We will only be able to shine in this world if we allow God’s Word to rule our lives.

It says in the Bible:

“Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path» (Psalm, 119:105).

It is God’s Word that starts the light of God in our hearts and leads our steps on the right path:

«You will light my lamp; the LORD my God will enlighten my darkness» (Psalm, 18:28).

It also says in the Bible that we will have God’s light only when we follow the example set by Jesus Christ:

«Then Jesus spoke to them again, saying, “I am the light of the world. He who follows Me shall not walk in darkness, but have the light of life» (John, 8:12).

As Christ’s ambassadors and the representatives of God’s Kingdom (which is the kingdom of light) we must understand our role and know who we are in Christ. We know that the devil is the ruler and governor of the kingdom of darkness, and he has a program for this earth. But God has made us ambassadors of light so in order to stop the devil from blinding the people’s minds and to open the people’s eyes to the truth of God’s Word. We must teach the truth of God’s Word to the people because God’s Word gives us light. We will shine with the light of God’s truth if we live according to this truth and if we allow God’s Word to rule our lives.

We must seek ways to preach and plant God’s Word into the human hearts in the power of the Holy Ghost. It is necessary so that the people living in darkness would be enlightened. When the Bible talks of darkness and the absence of light, it actually talks about ignorance and the lack of insight. Our calling as Christ’s ambassadors and the bearers of His light is to shine the light of the truth into the places ruled by darkness, where there is lack of knowledge and revelation of God. We must fill this earth with the truth of God’s Word.

«And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free» (John, 8:32).

Be blessed!

Till tomorrow!

  • You will be able to arm yourselves against the tsunamis of evil in these last days if you walk in the light of God’s Word and soberness of mind!

«Now the Spirit expressly says that in latter times some will depart from the faith, giving heed to deceiving spirits and doctrines of demons» (1 Timothy, 4:1).It is sad that people depart from the faith; their love grows cold; they get offended and leave God. (When our relationships with God start growing cold it is a sign of departure from the faith). I would want it to happen with any of you; I wish none of you fall because of the wicked winds of the last days.

  • There is nothing impossible with God!

Every one of us has been given free choice. By our lawlessness and sins we can fill our lives and the lives of our loved ones, thus defiling the earth. But through repentance and godly living we can establish the rule of life by God’s grace, affecting not just our life but the whole world. We see that the sin of one man negatively affects not only him or her, but also others. In the same way we see that obedience and righteous living positively affects other people and the whole world.

  • Responsibility as a Key to Success!

Why is it important to be a responsible person? One of the reasons is that the level of authority and power is directly related to how responsible you are. Even if you seem to have authority with people, but you treat life lightly, it is highly probable that soon enough you will lose your standing with people. And it applies to all settings: whether it is church, family, business or individuals. Responsibility, success and authority – all these phenomena are closely related. You cannot be successful and irresponsible at the same time.

  • God doesn’t want us to give up! II

Yesterday we started talking about how not to give up, when problems and trials are all around us. Today we are going to continue about it and I would like to share with you where we can find the strength for it. In order for us not to give up when dealing with hardships and challenges we must know that problems are a common thing and a part of life. Nobody is secured against them no matter how big your love for God is. If you think that you are the only one with problems and the others don’t have any, then you set yourself up for failure.

  • Suffering as a method of discipline II

My responsibility is to live a worthy life and to walk in obedience before the Lord. If I become disobedient, then according to the Bible my Heavenly Father corrects and disciplines me. To discipline is to correct for moral perfection. That is why the Bible says:«As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten. Therefore be zealous and repent» (Revelation, 3:19).
