On what does your destiny depend?

My greetings to the readers of „Daily Word for Spiritual Edification”!Today I would like to share a word with you about On what does the course of your life depend? or On what does your destiny depend?? We will talk about whether it is the circumstances of your life or the condition of your heart that determine the course of your life.We mostly think that our destiny is determined by other people or how they act toward us. Or we think that destiny depends on the circumstances that surround us or things that happen around us. But it is not true, and God does not think that way! God knows that the circumstances in your life won’t define your life. What people do or do not do to you cannot determine your life. Your destiny is defined by where your heart is. Thus, God tells us that we have to guard our hearts with all diligence.
«My son, give attention to my words; incline your ear to my sayings. Do not let them depart from your eyes; keep them in the midst of your heart; for they are life to those who find them, and health to all their flesh. Keep your heart with all diligence, for out of it spring the issues of life» (Proverbs, 4:20-23).
Guard your heart with all diligence! Why is it so important? Because life flows out of the heart. That is the reason why it is so important to keep the right things in our hearts. If we keep the Word of God in our hearts – and the Word contains the very life of God, – then the life of God will flow out of our hearts like streams of water. Even if get into unfavourable situations, the life of God will flow out of our hearts and change all the circumstances. It happens because the life that fills our hearts will press out all deadly and unfavourable situations that surround us. When people treat you badly, creating hindrances or humiliating you, it does not affect you if the Word of God fills your heart; this very Word will help you to walk in victory no matter what people intend to do against you or what circumstances you find yourself in. When unpleasant things happen in our lives we do not need to look for someone or something to blame – husband, wife, government, church, boss, weather, God, devil etc. We need to analyze the condition of our hearts. Instead of looking for someone to blame for the wrong things happening with us, let us check what flows out of our hearts and how we response to things. It is very important!     Who of you desires for God to be with you as the Partner at home, at work, and everywhere else? God wants it more than we do. But God can not deviate from His principles. Many believers deceive themselves thinking that God is with them, even though their life does not testify of it. It is a paradox. You may think that since God has promised to be with you and never to leave you or forsake you, He is indebted to be with you. It is also possible that God is with us, but not in a pleasant way. It is not about God; it is about how we live.

    What does this tell us? It tells us that God started His day in the evening. It is very important for us to borrow this wisdom from our Heavenly Father. If we get up in the morning and only then start thinking about what we need to do for the day, then we are already starting it in the wrong manner and have already starting too late. The last moment to start your day is the evening of the previous day. In the evening we need to have a composed idea of what we are doing the next day. We need to have a plan for the next day. Before we go to bed we need to have a vision for the next day. If we are too lazy to make any plans for the next day before going to bed then we are heading towards poverty both physical and spiritual. It is crucial for us to accept this wisdom from God to start the day in the evening of the previous day: «So the evening and the morning were the first day».

    2. God’s Word is the best ‘cleansing agent’ for a human heart.That is sufficient reason why we need to read God’s Word. The Word cleanses me. Jesus already cleansed me by His Blood when I got saved. I am clean and have access to God without any condemnation. Yet, I still need to experience daily cleansing.
