On what does your destiny depend?

My greetings to the readers of „Daily Word for Spiritual Edification”!Today I would like to share a word with you about On what does the course of your life depend? or On what does your destiny depend?? We will talk about whether it is the circumstances of your life or the condition of your heart that determine the course of your life.We mostly think that our destiny is determined by other people or how they act toward us. Or we think that destiny depends on the circumstances that surround us or things that happen around us. But it is not true, and God does not think that way! God knows that the circumstances in your life won’t define your life. What people do or do not do to you cannot determine your life. Your destiny is defined by where your heart is. Thus, God tells us that we have to guard our hearts with all diligence.
«My son, give attention to my words; incline your ear to my sayings. Do not let them depart from your eyes; keep them in the midst of your heart; for they are life to those who find them, and health to all their flesh. Keep your heart with all diligence, for out of it spring the issues of life» (Proverbs, 4:20-23).
Guard your heart with all diligence! Why is it so important? Because life flows out of the heart. That is the reason why it is so important to keep the right things in our hearts. If we keep the Word of God in our hearts – and the Word contains the very life of God, – then the life of God will flow out of our hearts like streams of water. Even if get into unfavourable situations, the life of God will flow out of our hearts and change all the circumstances. It happens because the life that fills our hearts will press out all deadly and unfavourable situations that surround us. When people treat you badly, creating hindrances or humiliating you, it does not affect you if the Word of God fills your heart; this very Word will help you to walk in victory no matter what people intend to do against you or what circumstances you find yourself in. When unpleasant things happen in our lives we do not need to look for someone or something to blame – husband, wife, government, church, boss, weather, God, devil etc. We need to analyze the condition of our hearts. Instead of looking for someone to blame for the wrong things happening with us, let us check what flows out of our hearts and how we response to things. It is very important!     Heaven is the place from which Jesus rules and reigns over everything. What God says about us in His Word is the truth which we must believe. Now we have God’s nature in us and it must be continually fed and nurtured. We must believe that now we have heavenly authority and power that was given to us in order to destroy the works of devil on earth. That is what Jesus did when He walked on the planet earth: He destroyed and undo the works and intentions of the devil. He set an example for us to follow in His foot steps:«For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that He might destroy the works of the devil» (1 John, 3:8b).

Be creative when you choose the place for prayer. For instance, there was a time in my life when I made walking into prayer time. I called it “a prayer walk”. I went out in the street for the purpose of prayer.

    You know that in the history of revivals the key role was played by praying women, because God had given them the burden of prayer for the lives other people. Women know how to carry things that distress them and bear them before God. That is why prayer is one of the purposes of mothers. Mother’s prayers are so powerful! Mother’s prayer reaches the goal! Mother’s prayer brings freedom to her children! So if you are a mother, God expects unceasing prayers from you, until the necessary answer comes. Do not stop praying for your children. Children need your prayers, and other people need your prayers.
