Our life is a product of what we see

I bless you, precious children of God, and pray that God will bless your life in a special way today!
Yesterday we started to talk about how to construct a wonderful future. We also talked about the fact that you can not have what you do not see. Our life is a product of what we see. Our future is a reflection of what we envision. What we envision is what we set our heart on.

God wanted to turn Abram into a great man, and He promised that right after their first meeting. In order for that to become a reality, God made Abram His partner. It was necessary so that Abram could start building the future God had prepared for him.

«And the Lord said to Abram, after Lot had separated from him: „Lift your eyes now and look from the place where you are – northward, southward, eastward, and westward; for all the land which you see I give to you and your descendants forever»(Genesis, 13:14-15).

We see that God began stretching Abram’s vision and broadening his horizons, because He wanted Abram to have the vision of a great future that was prepared for him: «…all the land which you see I give to you and your descendants».
God told Abram to lift up his eyes and to start looking around. He told Abram that he would have only those things which he was able to see or envision. The land that Abram was able to see would be given to him.
You cannot have what you cannot see. God wants you to answer the following question today: what are you seeing?
How do you see your life? What picture of your future are you seeing today? How do you see your life in 2 years, 5 years or 7 years? How do you see the future of your family? How do you see the future of your ministry?
Answers to these questions are very important. Only those people that have a vision of the future can be made great by God. Those that do not have any vision will never be great. That is why God first places thoughts of who He wants us to be in our minds to engage our imagination. If we are able to see the future with the eyes of our minds, we will come into that future we are seeing.
Tomorrow we will talk about this in more detail. Today I would just like you to ask yourself a question: what do I see? The way I see myself today is what I will become tomorrow.
