Planning helps us to discover for ourselves the goal of our lives and steer our efforts towards fulfilling this goal

Peace upon you on this wonderful day! Today, I want to share with you the word about the importance of planning. Plan has a direct connection to our future. Planning is looking into our future and making assumptions of what our tomorrow will be like, and composing definite action steps in order for our life to flow according to the set course, instead of drifting. Nobody plans yesterday, and it is too late already to plan today. We plan the next day, the next week, the next month. We plan the future. Whoever does not want to think about the future, will be forced to live only in the past or only in the now. Through planning, we decide what our action steps will be like and what our desired result will be, according to our action. Planning is thinking about your future with a purpose, using all the currently available information and possibilities and using those wisely for your future.Planning is one of the expressions of wisdom, therefore those who do not plan are openly demonstrating their foolishness and ignorance. Planning helps us to discover for ourselves the goal of our lives and steer our efforts towards fulfilling this goal. The Bible says,
„Where there is no revelation, the people cast off restraint; but blessed is he who keeps the law.” (Proverbs 29: 18).
Another translation of „revelation” means revelation of the redemptive purposes of God, but the phrase „cast off restraint” is translated as „destruction”. Thus, without a clear understanding of the redemptive purposes of God, the nation of God is destroyed because they cast off restraint.  A nation is destroyed when they do not have a clear understanding where they are going and how they will get there. Many people are destroyed because they do not have a vision or understanding about the goal of life. Where there is no revelation about godly destiny, there will be no direction, no planning, and no strategies. Without vision or the understanding of purpose, all of our efforts will only lead to disappointment. Without the revelation about purpose, all of our efforts will be directed at nothing. Planning helps us to discover our purpose in life and steer our efforts towards the fulfilment of this purpose. It helps us to clearly understand our purpose and the direction toward which we are heading. A person cannot start planning unless he first understands where he is going or what he really wants. Planning forces us to address and settle such issues. Planning demands that a person have a definite and clear goal. Sometimes our understanding of our purpose or goal in life is too blurry, non-specific and general. Therefore it is sometimes hard to move forward to reach the goal. But planning helps us to be definite in relation to what we really want in life and how we are going to reach it. Have you defined what you want in your life? Toward what are you directing your efforts at present? Does that correspond to the goals or mission of your life? Before you cram up your planner with various programmes and activities, ask yourself: What do I want to achieve in my life and how will these activities help me to reach my goal? Remember: He who does not plan is openly showing his foolishness and ignorance. We will continue this topic tomorrow. May the Lord bless you! Nevertheless, there are four possible God´s answers to the right prayer said by the right person.First answer – we pray and receive an immediate answer. It works this way in the life of newly born Christians, but not only. Also Peter received an immediate answer to his prayer. He called to the Lord for help when he started to drown, and the answer came immediately – Jesus stretched His hand to save Peter´s life.
  • The importance of stopping all activities and being alone with God

«From there He arose and went to the region of Tyre and Sidon. And He entered a house and wanted no one to know it, but He could not be hidden.»Jesus came to Tyra and Sidon to find some solitude and rest from people because His last day was coming closer – the day of His death on the Golgotha. Possibly, Jesus wanted to be alone with His Father to discuss what was awaiting Him on the Golgotha. Thus, Jesus was showing us an example of stopping all activities and being alone with God. We also need – every once in a while – to leave all the clutter of this world and all its cares and to find time for being alone with the Father. God is calling you today to find right time and a right place to be alone with God even among all the cares and stresses of this world. By doing it you will be able to gain access to godly wisdom, receive peace from God and succeed in this life.
  • Faith is obedience to the Lord! II

«Without faith it is impossible to be well pleasing to him, for he who comes to God must believe that he exists, and that he is a rewarder of those who seek him.» (Hebrew 11:6). As we mentioned earlier, faith means acting in accordance to the word of God. Quite often God calls us to do impossible things, those only God Himself can accomplish. God is not inviting us to demonstrate our own capabilities, but what He is able to do through us. That´s why God often gives us the tasks we cannot accomplish without Him.
  • God gives to everyone according to his or her ability

We all want more. We want our churches to have more people, but God – according to your ability – will give you what you can handle. God will be able to entrust you His blessings according to the level of your responsibility. For example, you are in a predicament and you think, „Why do I have to live through this?” But God knows that you can handle it. We often are not aware of how responsible or irresponsible we are, but God is. God knows the burden you are able to carry. You may think and say to yourself, «No, I am not able to bear this! I am not capable!» Until you actually go through it, you won’t be able to imagine what you are capable of.
  • If you will not initiate changes, they will never happen in your life

It is time to know that changes are initiated rather than expected. Changes do not happen by chance, they happen because someone initiated them. When it was dark and void all around, God initiated change by introducing light. He said “Let there be light”.“In the beginning, when God created the universe, the earth was formless and desolate. The raging ocean that covered everything was engulfed in total darkness, and the Spirit of God was moving over the water. Then God commanded, “Let there be light”—and light appeared” (Gen.1: 1-3)
  • Temptations or trials are a kind of test or exam

If you arm yourself with the knowledge that problems and trials are a test to all of us, and once it´s passed we receive a certain reward from God, then a holy desire to win given by God will be awaken within you. None of you is born willing to be a loser in this life. We all desire to win, but no win where is no battle. For the problems and trials are those battles we either get defeated or celebrate the victory at. Going through hardships and pain in our life, we better understand the price, Jesus paid for our salvation. «…you are partakers of Christ’s sufferings…».
